[X] Plan: Batten down the Hatches.
Good plan, especially how you deal with augs.

Oh yeah, one more question @SoothingCoffee , about how much is Lily's uniform worth in light of that? The piece of fabric we got seems to be really potent, as was the general added boost we got to begin with.
Well, it was in option description after all. High income, quality over quantity and special equipment. Damn, that was a good choice after all.Despite being a "plain 9th grade" uniform, its quality puts it squarely in the upper ~5mils -- after you put in that funny fabric though, it's definitely at least in the 10 mils territory.
Alectai isnt your plan 7 ap since the jobs are 2 each
Shopping is 1
Weeping Heartstrings (Urban Plague) is 2 so 3 total
Neighbor(s) from Hell (Canard): is 2 more 5 total
Burning Curiosity is 1, 6 total
One Month Celebration Party is another 1 so 7 total
So... Still very cheap? In a project moon world that sounds like a pocket cash. You can buy a one night stand in a 3/4 start hotel for 2 mil.Despite being a "plain 9th grade" uniform, its quality puts it squarely in the upper ~5mils -- after you put in that funny fabric though, it's definitely at least in the 10 mils territory.
Edit: it pays to have a really good Workshop/Maestro.
Oh! Ooooooh... I think I got it. Is Lily's mom related to the city's vampires? So is Lily related to local vampires or smth? Like Red Night or that hotel owner from Distortion detective. If that is the case we should yyet Moms cooking out of the window. I mean, -10 San is bad enough already, but it could lead our cute tsundere to a bad place. It does raise the question how landlord is tied to our family.

So, we know there's a distortion - designated Weeping Heartstrings - he distorted and its related to Sun, and he's somehow taken control of an entire fixer office. So he's prolly got some shit that can control in the first place, no idea on specifics, but him being Urban Plague means its pretty likely Lily is going have problems. To figure out how big a leap that would theoretically be, Grade 8 is expected to take on Urban Myth as per the update, and I figure 7's prolly tail end of that, bordering on Legend. I remembered Dawn Office story had mentioned a fixer solo-ing a request, and it was Yuna (Grade 4) solo-ing an Urban Legend. Phillip praising her on solo-ing that I'll prolly have to discount a bit, but still. So Urban Plague, yea, fits Scarecrow Office's grade 5 designation."Vic's Office," your eyebrows pick up at that. "Yeah, I know, but Moon's – Hana's dubbed him 'Weeping Heartstrings' now, and yes, I know, but the girls saw him do something funny to the Vic's Office Fixers, and now they're under his control. Last the girls saw them, they're headed towards Sun's place –"
Distortions imo are much nastier than 'normal' fixers, and don't even have the decency to have a gimmick to figure out like an Abnormality most of the time. Or rather the gimmick isn't the end-all-be-all. So imo leave Moon to Mao unless things get out of hand, we're not going to be able to put in a lotta work barring being a distraction unless Weeping Heartstrings is vulnerable to melee.Anyway, point is, you don't want to punch up too much. Going up against someone who's one, or a couple degree stronger (8th to 7th, inching on 6th Grade) than you might be a close fight, but stretch that gap out (6th to 5th and so on and so goes), and you'll be debuffed to hell and back by "Outskilled", "Outpowered", etc etc, and they'll also be filled to the gills with all sorts of shit.
So Lily's expected opfor is Vic's Office. Who are they? They were the schmucks Moon hired to try and get to Sun way back on Lily's first assignment -You clench your jaws, and it takes every twitching muscle in your body not to leap at her. "Fuck you," you snarl. "I don't give a fuck, and I ain't backing down."
She casts a lazy eye at you. "Even if it means you'll only be dead weight?" she drawls.
Your hand instinctively reaches for your knockbar. "… I'll show you dead weight, Mao."
Mao sighs, then chuckles. You glare, and not at all pouting. "Fine, fine – at least you can take care of the Vic's Office. I think you're strong enough to take those chumps out."
5x Grade 9 Fixers and 1x Grade 8, but I don't trust Weeping Heartstrings to not grab more. What are they equipped with?"Ap," you could almost feel Mao raising her finger when she said that, waggling it around. "I'm not done. Ah, what was it, again? Right. Victor, Mellie, Asoka, Miriam, and Vallete. Ninth Grade Fixers, except for the boss himself; an Eighth Grade Fixer. Coming from the Western side of our District, I'm not surprised you don't know us –"this time, you could hear the grin; like a cat playing with a cornered rat. Mao chuckles. "But we do. Jack of All Trades, in the business for ten years.
Just as you suspected before, six people stand right in front of the door – and out of them, only two stand out immediately. The first one stands right in front of you, wearing a large grey-beige open long-coat, underneath it a plain brown buttoned shirt, his collar splayed wide. Tall like Mao, towering you by a head, but bulky unlike Mao; his shoulders squared up. Old, you continue, but not too old. He can't be a decade older than you, but his hair is already turning gray, black sprinkled with white salt. Lines, and wrinkles on his face, and bags underneath his flinty brown eyes. You recognize the dead-tiredness in his eyes, like the ones you see in your fellow neighbors. At your sight, his frown deepens.
The four in the background wear similar looking clothes, but without the long coat – a cap on their head and collared up brown clothes on their body with too many pockets. The second person that stands out stands surrounded by the four. Wispy white-blue hair, and a pair of wide red eyes. Unlike the others, he wears a simple shirt-and-trousers combo; something that you wouldn't bat an eye over in the streets. It's something that you would wear.
"Now," the large man turns to you, looming. His eyes glance to your side, and yours to his. A tonfa inside the sleeves of his coat, not quite hidden.
They seem to have mostly preferred to use blunt weapons, and were a jack-of-all-trades fixer office. No visible special equipment, but they're here on a casual run from their POV. They have experience on Lily, but who knows how Weeping Heartstrings will have impacted their rationality. And that's not getting into any possible 'boosts' from them losing their rationality or not. They might pull plays they would not normally. Sky's the limit. You could at least say you tried. Lifting your hand, you catch the man's eyes narrow, the tonfa in his grip sliding – behind him, the four Fixers pull out their weapons: batons, and clubs.
