I get that the hiatus makes the timescale of certain things blurry, but we're still on week 4 of month 1 in story, we haven't faced a situation where Lily's been dead for rights yet, and I have doubt Soothing will let us sit on emergency rations when Lily would be a dumbass not to pop them, so no need to worry about overly RPG habits.

Those are amazing. I agree that the scars look good for Lily. It has been noted she has gotten more scars, she needs to get hit in the face a couple more times to complete the look. Nice touch with the ribbons connecting off the side.

Since… the flower blooming could have some benefits … maybe? It's the city so I won't get my hopes up but having a Flower type effect after the week of hell would be neat… specially for "Lily" since ya know… flower name.

I do not think there is going to be a substantial effect after the seven days are up for a couple of reasons, one of which is nothing saying anything of the sort in the description. The other major reason is that these effects are usually "short term benefit for a longer-term detriment" or "short term detriment for a long term benefit", not "short term benefit for a longer-term detriment which then turns into a long term benefit".

Having said that, there still might be a visual or fluff effect afterward. You know, if the flower is not a figure of speech or is just chilling in Lily's stomach acid.

Fair. It's just me being worried since the city is the hellhole it always is and trying to think of a positive outcome compared to the worry... though I still hope Lily ends up with some neat Floral Effects/design that comes from using the 777 Pill(tm) even if it's just for aesthetics. Looking cool while not as important as power or survivability is still a factor that the colors we've seen have.

Kali's Cool, Iori's Cool, Angelica/Roland are Cool (Since According to the art book Angelica was the OG Black Silence. I still count Roland as the Black Silence since he was able to fight off the Ensemble for an entire week and He's able to use Angelica's weapons Efficiently even though he mainly only goofed off with them before... The Pianist Happened. If that ain't Color Worthy than I don't know what is.) ... and Argalia... well he's crazy but he's still got a cool aesthetic. And even as a corpse being manipulated by a bloodfiend The Vermillion Cross was still cool.

And The potential Color we've seen as Kai's mom Sounds Cool in combat... In more ways than one

So Lily & Kai can match… maybe if it's on Lily's eye the same side that Kai didn't lose they could have more symbolism of reflecting each other. One gave up her eye and gained a permanent boost that she can use temporarily. While the other gained a temporary boost unknowingly losing hers.

And hopefully Mao'll be nice and let us have a little more than 1/15th of the money for the job. Though depending on how Lily does we may not deserve it. Anyways with the reward for the job we should have enough for both paying off what we spent for the upgrades, rent, and some permanent body mods that we'll probably have to buy eventually… we may be able to come back from the dead once a week but we ain't the Red Mist. No One's the Red Mist… well besides she herself being the Red Mist.

1 Mil was established to be the amount we're getting from this mission just for attending, anything more is based on performance.

But yeah, if the shit hits the fan, popping that pill and going Sicko Mode is a good option.

If we end up facing the Distortion head on, with Mao just laying there all wounded and defeated, Lily can then pop the pill and unleash the gun-glove and go shonen protagonist's desperation move, kick his shit in, die in his desperation/spite move, have this poignant silence as both of them lie there dead and cool, have Mao carry Lily's corpse back to the office all mournfully, then she wakes up at her own funeral like she took a fucking nap instead of being gutted.

Which is just *chef's kiss*.

Semi-related tangent; There is a real-life story of a soldier who was so severely injured during fighting that he was recovered and assumed dead. Right as the bodybag he was in was about to be zipped up, he was able to spit in the doctor's face. He survived after surgery and yes, this happened. So, not impossible
