Magical Girl Quest - The Fire That Burns

Why not ask about her vow first? Isn't it a bit head first when she's clearly said that she won't tell us certain things. It won't hurt to know what we're deal with.

Because as fucked up a backstory we have we are still 13 and are not the sharpest tool in the shed?

That's what Bestest Little Sisters are for.

[] Tell her who you are and try to be friendly
-[] "I am the Beginning. I am the End. Magical Girl Ignition Knight!at your service"

:V

No, not really suggesting that.

Onward:
"I was uhh, just investigating some magic I'd felt nearby."

Something we really need to work on. It is fine with Morgan seeing how see hasn't really been hostile but having a magical enemy be able to follow our trail like that would be… bad.

"I have no intention of harming you in any way so long as you are civil and remain friendly." She lets out a long breath at that and slumps down, all of the tension in her body seeming to seep away. Why does she believe me completely when I say that? I could be lying.

She stares at you slightly disbelievingly at your words, but you feel a slight wiggling for her magic before she starts to look more accepting.

She looks like she has some way of confirming if what we say is the truth.

"Ahh man, you thought I was threatening your daughter?" She runs a hand through her hair and shakes her head, continuing before you can rectify her mistake. "I am so sorry, I didn't mean to worry you like that. I should have waited for daytime before politely visiting. I hadn't thought anyone would still be here. This is my mistake"

You... aren't quite sure how to respond to that. "She's uhh, not my daughter. She's my sister." The way her eyes widen as she looks between the two of you is really funny, while you control yourself you feel Una giggling into your back. You didn't look that old did you?

Either her magic looked into how Una views us and saw mother, there is some magical connection between us that might signal a mother daughter bond, or, perhaps more likely she thinks we are immortal.

It would explain to her why we are so powerful. She might have thought that our strength is because of our age, whereas our strength is because our magic takes a different form. If she doesn't feel any magic from Una that means either we are probably close to age with her (with is pretty absurd for our level of power) or we managed to make our sister immortal without any obvious magical tells, or our parental figure is also immortal and had children very very far apart in age.

People are so paranoid! Why? Because of a single bad thing happening?

Weak.
It's more because this story's magical setting appears to be taking cues from other works.

A common theme in many fantasy stories and myths is that knowing someone/somethings name gives you power over them. So if that was the case in this setting, we could have accidentally given a random girl complete control over ourselves.

Then we simply cast Alpha And Omega to break it.

I kinda like this idea in a way. People look at us and see some magical/spiritual link connecting us to Una that says "Mother/Daughter."
she thinks we are immortal.
No Cerys, You are the Mokou!

Complete control is rare, but some level of influence isn't unusual.

So, this vote?

[X] Ask about her vow first and if she has to tell anyone about you.
-[x] If her answers are satisfactory tell her your name, try and be friendly.

Also vote no paranoia

for reasons I'll edit in later, as it is typing it out might just make me miss actually giving my input :V

[X] Tell her your name, try and be friendly

edit: I have posted my reasoning on the next page.

Knowledge is power.

I fail to see how this is truly paranoid, she already mentioned her vow and certain conditions with it, we're just asking her to explain more in depth. Do you not see the whole then be friendly afterwards?
If the answers satisfy us. That right there is the paranoia.

Besides, we had the chance. She, in character, passed by it.

Changing vote. I'm going to trust in Sinarblood; he tends to be insightful.

[X] Tell her your name, try and be friendly

No paranoia. It seems both overkill for the moment and very out of character.

Remember folks, we have yet, pardon the pun, been burned by magic yet except for your guys choices with a character under extreme panic.
