Magical Girl Quest - The Fire That Burns

I mean, don't get me wrong, flight is good, but level 3 isn't gonna get us enough speed to dodge like Nepgear can

Also this. Either we can already dodge most of the stuff thrown at us, or it will not matter.
I mean, 15mph is the difference between a fast running pace and a flat-out sprint, it's notably faster than Cerys is likely to be able to manage on foot. That's not insignificant.

If that's her instant acceleration speed and her max speed as well, that's actually a pretty fast dodge, so long as her reflexes are quick enough to work with it. Especially given that, as Flight, it's uni-directional acceleration. Being able to go from a dead-stop to 15mph in any direction is scary for a human.

My main nitpick is I want to save xp until we can get flight level 5 in one go. Usually large changes happen to skills every 5 levels.

Flight does not get any large changes.
Aside from that, why waste all those points on it when we can just train it up? Pretty easily at that, seeing that it is a non-damaging Ability that we can train almost everywhere...

It's not instant.
Shop item for that though~

Flight: Sword Boost
-10xp
Cerys forms a sword that she kicks off of.

Not 0 to max speed, but it lets you do some fast manoeuvring.
(Gives you a defensive boost while dodging and a much higher chance of completely avoiding an attack.)

That should probably require Limitless on Infinity Edge.

[X] Blood Willows
[X] EXP Plan My Sword is Amazing and I can fly (110 EXP)

I guess we will buy this at the next opportunity. This is wonderful.

I see no reason to wait on spending exp really. If we're going for flight anyways, the cost to get to level 5 is going to be the same regardless whether we spend it all at once or one level at a time.

And given we're about to go into combat, I would rather have even a slight advantage than save up our EXP. Those savings are only useful if we survive to spend them.

If you want to save for something else that's more expensive? Sure.

But saving up because you want to get three levels at once rather than buying each level as they come? Kinda stupid imho.

I do like the sword kickoff mind you. @Rukia can we edit votes to include that right now? Or do we need to wait until a later vote to do so?

[X] Blood Willows
[X] EXP Plan My Sword is Amazing (80 EXP)

Flight is pointless against monsters with anti-air.

Literally anything would be better for this fight :V

[X] Blood Willows
[X] EXP Plan My Sword is Amazing (80 EXP)

Just to consolidate the exp plans i guess. This is a mess right now.

...What anti air magic would you be referring to here?
Here

Pierce
-Fire a thin beam of magic.
Level 5
Base Damage: ???
Magic Modifier: ???
Affinity: N/A
Ability: ??? | Anti-Air

Yeah, in any case trying to fly against the Willows is a stupid idea so it doesn't matter right now. If we were going against the Thunderbird, on the other hand....
