[X]No: Something about all this felt off. Especially because all this… hinged upon one man. What did Matteo do to earn this kind of ire… and why were they so insistent on being allowed to join your investments. That was a price too high… you worked far too hard on all this to be left up to another person. Not even Robespierre was worth that.

From his perspective he holds all the Cards, heck from Therese's perspective without OC knowledge he holds all the cards and even with it if we follow otl timeline he holds all the cards.
Correct... But there is also one thing he really doesn't have.

France in his pocket, or control of their banks.

Cause if France wins, he loses.
Basically for him this is just a familial grudge and a good deal in exchange for it. We basically get access to his pocket and some financial security in exchange for revenge and influence.
True.
Honestly seems like a waste of an event if this end like this with the only real reward kwning IC about the bankers' threat.
Oh no, you'll get something out of this. You think I haven't planned for this?

Well, Cyber did before he bailed, but I have his notes.

But there is another update to come, and another fun time ahead.

Also:

Napoleon: Hello
STOP BEING AWESOME!

Also, meanwhile with the other European powers:
Britain: https://rolz.org/embed?jgyx2ov3nq:kueg5q
Prussia:https://rolz.org/embed?jgyx2ov3nq:kueg5ulg
Austria:https://rolz.org/embed?jgyx2ov3nq:kueg5zr5
Sweden:https://rolz.org/embed?jgyx2ov3nq:kueg6d9y

The deal is worth it, but integrity is priceless.
Some would say integrity is the death of nations and of people.

Not us... not us.
-------------------------

Also, Robe... buddy... What the fuck are you doing?

Looks like Nappy rope-a-doped everyone at the Diplomatic Table except maybe Austria.

Is Metternich already anywhere close to important by this Point in History?

Also, Robe... buddy... What the fuck are you doing?
At this point, he's almost like a Looney Tunes-Antagonist. Complete with us and him doing the 'Shoot him now!'-Routine, with us being Bugs, him being Daffy and Elmer Fudd's Gun being fate/the Dice Gods.

Well hello Napoleon. You running the show right now? :V

But yeah France is looking good. While Britain, Prussia and Sweden aren't doing that well. Austria did somewhat good but not Napoleon good. So they are probably the least hurt from the others.

I was wondering if it would be okay if I tried to write a follow up to the Venice side story (if it already was written and I missed it just say so)

We still have that Russian roll incoming. If they are at the meeting that is.
Star threw 1 100-faced dice. Total: 70
70 70

So some of the Balkans. Yeah, that's definitely not going to cause any issues at all. It's certainly not going to, I dunno, start some kind of major global conflict.
I think the world has had enough war for the last few years.

give it at least two years then we'll see if the concert of Europe will come true.

Despite their power and influence I don't think anyone even Napoleon, Therese, and even Alexander have a voice in the matter.
... Hey, maybe that's why the next war of the coalition starts. Not because of Napoleon's ambitions... but of Russia's?

and britian and France working together?

What fucking world is this that I have created and can it get more chaotic? :V

Maybe rope in America and we can maybe form an alliance of countries bordering the Northern Atlantic.
Maybe sign a treaty of sorts . . . :thonk:

Pah, why would we want a treat of the North Atlantic, when a more... Central Power... or a pact of sorts can be made. :V

You have all opened up the floodgates for this insanity, and I love it.

Considering the current mediocrity of the Germans, I think I'd prefer the Americans. Sure, they're on the other side of the ocean, but they're madlads and I'd prefer them on-side if possible.

Eh if the Prussians could bounce back in a bit in a bit if they do well on their reforms.

And Austria can... well Austria can win an Austro-Turko war if they decide to beat up on the ottomans... which is totally possible now that Europe, at least in the west is now out of reach.
