The dice giveth and they taketh. Once more America is on the receiving end of this simple truth.
Well Cyber came up with something for that 8...

And well... Lets just say he was inspired.
8% Good news folks. Er... that's it.
Not good, not good at all for the US.
This might suck in some interest from the RN, but hardly taxes them (au contraire).
Royal Navy and GB have bigger things to worry about.

USA, I was joking about Speedrunning your civil war, you didn't had to actually do it!

...Poor Murica, he was only born a few years ago, but it has to deal with so much shit right now.

Knowing the luck of the dice, they roll a nat 100 and Washington bitch slaps them all as equals and stop this madness.

So... Washington will appear in the middle of a rap battle between abolitionist and slavists, drop some sick flows, bitch slap both of them and then be carried by a giant bald eagle into the sunset?

Neat.

-[X]Two Ego's From Hell: Berthier… De Lisle. Those two men are more likely to kill each other than get along with each other. You will put an end to this. NOW! DC 50
-[X]Request Supplies: You are in need of supplies for this expedition. And by god, if they screw you over again, you will raise hell with letters and very strongly worded protests. Cost 5 Wealth DC: 25 (Use 5 Army Wealth)
-[X]Request Writ of Justification: You are changing the plans of your orders to invade a belligerent power. You are in need of official support, if you do not want to get sent to prison for mutiny. DC: 40 (Note: You must write in your reasons for changing your orders. the longer and more detailed the better.)
--[X] Justify this as the first step to attacking and taking Egypt, as per orders (which allowed us to do it in any way we chose). This allows to cut off the RN from the Eastern Med, so allows to land our troops in Egypt without being intercepted at sea first and to secure the logistic train back to France. It would also allow to deny the RN any operating base in the Eastern Med. It would also be a strike at the Bourbons in Two Sicilies coinciding with Napoleons Italian Campaign.
--[X] To support the reason, prepare materials and personal for campaign both in Sicily and in Egypt (that includes assembling a scientific and medical team with Egyptian and Arabic studies specialists). Luckily, a lot of it is dual use (the equipment for a powder mill is identical whether said mill is in Sicily or Egypt)
-[X]Create System of Cipher's: You have had an idea since the Battle at Mainez, and before, about finding a way to secure your communications, through code, ciphers and of hidden messages. Cost 1 Wealth DC: 35 (Use 1 Personal Wealth)
-[X]True Sights, True Ships: Our Intelligence around the Royal Navies' numbers are... Skewed at best. You need concrete details on their operational capacity, and who is leading this force DC: 40
-[X]An Unthinkable Sight: Louis Capet never struck you as reckless. Yet he came to you with a piece of paper. Requesting to join the French Army. DC: 10
-[X]A Birthday Celebration: Your Birthday is coming up, and you want to celebrate with your impromptu family. Cost 1 Wealth, DC:10 (Use 1 Personal Wealth)
-[X]The Officers And the Gentlewoman: Your Officers are a group of men that you do not know as well as you wish. But now, with time on your side, you will learn of them DC: 25
-[X] Correspond with Brian: Brian is married to Napoleon's Sister… you need details… copious details. Like who the lucky girl is DC: 10
-[X] Study & Read: There are books to read and things to learn. DC: Depends on chosen stat level
    --[X] Charisma
-[X]Route C (Purple): You don't like it, but the possibility of depriving the Royal Navy of a base in Sardinia and making allies in Sardinia, while also having a chance to resupply and meet several national leaders… perhaps you are looking at this far to Harshly.
    - [X]Yes: Go with your Blessing and the Admirals (much to his chagrin)
[x]Route B (Red): Serre's Plan to run the Gauntlet between Sardinia and Corsica, for the most disruptive for the Royal Navy. He plans to start false flag attacks, and raid all over Sardinia, firing cannon and generally making a mess with his marines… However, this is all planned to draw the British to Sardinia, allowing you to land on the Island of Sicily, giving you free reign to run wild on the island.

[x] Swordswomanship: You are not a great swordswoman; you are only decent and lucky. That needs to change. (+1 to 2 to combat, another possible new weapon?) DC: 40

That moment when you did the rolls and then say:

"Oh... this is going to be fun."

and I will leave it at that.

Either this went really well for us, or its a hilarious serious of unfortunate events that ends up with us on top of a mess

These kind of comments coming from a GM are the reason of my nightmares.

I'll blame you if I end up with those tonight!
