SHinji SI (NMS)
"What?"

"I said if you don't put her in the pit again I'll make you immortal."

There was silence for a moment before the old worm began to laugh.

"Hahahaha haha! You? Shinji? What can you do? You don't even have a single magic circuit!"

"Perhaps, so. But I I have something better, knowledge. Knowledge of how to make you immortal."

Zouken chuckled once more. "You truly belive that don't you? I wonder what changed? But that's not important. Very well, That foolish Kariya is promised me the grail in exchange, you are promising me with immortality? He. And how do you expect to do so? And how long do you expect to take? Kariya has an year before the Grail war begins. How long will you take to deliver your promise?"

"Mages detest technology, but I believe the answer to immorality lies within technology. If I'm given all the requested materials? I could complete it in three or four years, to build a soul engine and a mind arc."

I was not truly sure how long it would take for me but making the Soul Engine requires a living pearl.

That is not something available on earth.

Which means I have to build a spaceship....
past So
"A soul engine? A mind arc? He... Hehehe.... Who are you? And what have you done with my grandson?" he obviously didn't care about Shinji but I was an unknown.

"I am Shinji. You could say I'm just Shinji and more."

"Oh?"

"I remembered my past life a few days ago."

He actually began to laugh once more.

"So... Shinji Matou, a Reincarnation of a mage from the age of gods yet no circuits in his new life!" The old man cackled once more. I was definitely not a mage from the age of gods but I didn't bother correcting him "Very well, I'm not sure why you both seem to care about that girl. However, know that should you fail... Young Sakura will once again find herself.... Somewhere... Unpleasant.." the old man chuckled darkly once more.

Right... I need to get started.

First things first.

II need to list the materials I need to build what I needed.

A mining laser.

A space suit and a spaceship....

This is going to take a long time.

Interesting premise, but I have to note that cadmium absolutely exists on Earth, as it was discovered in 1817.

Danmachi SI Idea
Self-insert, in Danmachi about a year before canon, joins Bestia and becomes a smith. Gains Blacksmith skill as soon as he receives the Falna.

Swords, maces, shields, armour, spears.

SI spends a lot of time trying to recreate swords from fiction but only manages to make lookalikes....

Until he reaches Level 2
He gains a skill that lets him use runes to enchant items that he makes with different effects so He would actually be able to make some faithful recreations. But they wouldn't be the actual weapon.

At Level 3 he Gains a skill that lets him make fictional weapons so long as he has the materials for it can be made using a forge.

At Level 4 He starts to be able to make weapons even without some of the ingredients necessary but it uses a lot of magic and so he has to be careful. If he tries to craft something beyond what his magic can provide he will suffer a mind down at which he will fall unconscious and the work will be ruined and he will have to start over.

At Level 6 he will be gain the skill to create divine constructs or things that Humans don't understand.

At Level 8 he gains a skill that makes it so he doesn't need ANY material. All he needs is a forge a Hammer and his magic.

Level 10 he gains the skill to create things simply from his magic. No Forge or hammer is required.

Hmm... A good idea, but i assume that once the SI hits level 6, the various deities are going to start rather aggressively snooping around to try and get them in their Familia. Some more aggressively than others🤔

This was the least overpowered SI I saw you do to the place where he was sending, I'm more interested in seeing the SI interaction, He would be the captain and I can see Bell see him as a big brother.

Hestia on the other hand might think it would be better for him to go to Hephaestus Familia, not because she doesn't want the SI, but because she thinks he would have a better future like that.

But would mean he wouldn't be in Bestia's Familia which is obviously a no go, also being a smith in Heph's Familia is like being a fish in the sea, there are frankly so many of them you wouldn't be able to tell one of the small ones from another without more work than it's worth

I thought you could only get three skills per member of a famillia?

Hestia didn't know what to think of her new child.

He was a Smith.

With a Blacksmith developmental skill at Level 1.

That was unheard of, most smiths gain a skill like that when they reach level 2.

Hephaestus could help him reach his true potential.

When she had offered him to introduce him to Hephaestus however, he had rejected the offer. Even though he would be offered so much more there.

It made her happy that he didn't want to leave her, yet at the same time she knew that Hephaestus could provide and nurture his skills as a Blacksmith far better than her.

But no matter what she couldn't convince him otherwise.

It made her so happy.

But she couldn't allow him to continue dungeon diving for her sake and so after asking him several times for anything she could do to help he finally relented when she told him that she had a friend who was happy to help her out. He drew up the design of how he wanted the forge and explained the few parts that it had. Paper in hand she went to see Hephaestus, her best friend. When she told her about her new Child and how he was a Smith and declined her offer to meet Hephaestus this got her friend interested.

Nearly every smith wanted to be a part of the Hephaestus Familia, but not everyone could join. To actually hear a smith not interested in her was something new to her.

"And this is a forge of some kind?" Hephaestus wondered out loud as she glanced over the plans her child had drawn out. "There aren't any chimneys now is there any place for fuel? Wait." She paused narrowing her eyes. "What are these?" She asked pointing to a few lines on the diagram. Hestia glanced over to where Hephaestus was pointing at and recalled what her child had told her.

"He simply said that those were rods required to be made of a metal that could withstand the high temperatures of a forge without melting. Though apparently, it requires magic crystals to work."

"Of what kind?"

"Lightning Crystals."

Hephaestus's eyes widened as she began to understand what Hestia's child was trying to do.

Lightning.

She knew how hot lightning was, but she had never ever considered using it as a way to power her forge.

This mortal...

Hephaestus began to chuckle, this system removed the need to use the air pumps that were used to heat fires to the temperatures needed to melt metals. It removed a huge load of the smiths back.

As ingenious as it was not something she would use.

Because it meant it took a part of the crafting process a step away from her, and as the god of the forge that wasn't something she could do.

Her passion and dedication to her craft wouldn't allow it.

But she would certainly grant the child one thing though.

It was indeed an ingenious idea. For a mortal? It was something that would allow them to work on high-level metals without the Blacksmith Skill that most Smiths eventually get. In a way this gave the child a headstart over other blacksmiths.

But there were things missing. Such as how one would control the heat of the forge.

She already had a few ideas.

"I can have it installed in a day, but you will pay me back every single vali you owe me, is that clear?"

"I love you Hephaestus!" Instead of an agreement, she found herself tackled in a hug.

The things she does for her friend.

Still, perhaps she can meet this mortal one day? She would certainly like to meet the mind who came up with this idea.

Is the diagram presenting an electric arc furnace? 'Cuz that what it sounds like.
Well... a magic version of it, anyway...

Now lets watch as Hestia and the SI develop a truly platonic mother-son/best friend relationship.

Then when Hestia falls in love with Bell, the SI can tease her and make jokes that he just got 'cucked' by his 'younger 'sibling'. The sheer mortification Hestia will show should prove to be hilarious enough to see.

Music Greg-Shinji SI.... 1
I smiled, as blood pooled from my mouth.

"Please, don't die mister!"

I grinned, reaching out and touching Dinah cheek.

"It's alright. Don't worry I'll be fine."

"You're lying!"

I had somehow managed to lead coils mercenaries in a merry chase towards, the one person I knew could truly keep her safe.

I had somehow managed to lose the mercenaries and make my way through crowded streets carrying Dinah in a prince's carry.

Bieng a known parahuman even just a fun cape made it so that when I asked people to move out of the way and was injured they moved the fuck out of the way.

But unfortunately one of the mercenaries had managed to get a strike something important.

The Hospital staff were trying desperately to save me and tried to pull Dinah of me but to no avail, her grip was tight as steel. So they had began working around her. Panacea was unfortunately not in at this time. If I didn't know any better. I'd say Dinah was a Brute as well. Regardless I knew I wouldn't last long as my Vision darkened around the edges I could feel deaths cold grip approaching. A sensation I've felt once before.

"Dinah Listen to me, I'll be fine. Go to Panacea, tell her what is happening you can trust her, if you are taken in by the PRT then try to contact Dragon. She can help you, then there is a Girl named Taylor Herbert. These three you can trust with your life."

"Please don't die." she wishpered. The short time I was able to entertain her must have truly meant a lot.

"Dinah, let me tell. You a secret. Use you powers to tell if I'm lying or not." I paused for a second as the child nodded paying rapt attention even as tears streamed down her cheeks. Jesus, having a chat with her, singing a few songs and literally sacrificing my life to save her was all it took to win the hearts of girls. What terrible slave drivers they are.

"This isn't my first death." She looked confused. "I rember my past life. I was reincarnated in this life. In my past life it was 2021, turns out the after life exists outside of time and space. Who knows maybe in my next life, I'll be born in King Arthur's time?"

"84% chance you are telling the truth?" She looked shocked.

"Yeah... Turns out death isn't so scary, it's just the next big adventure. So don't cry Dinah" , I tried to smile, though it may have come out as a grimace. "This life might have been short, but it was a damn lot of fun!" I grinned even though it hurt to do so.

"Panacea!" I heard a faint shout.

Damnit...

So tired....

Maybe Panacea, will get here in time.

"Hey, Dinah... I'm tired.." but I didn't notice Dinah had already left to try to get Panacea attention.

"I think I'm going to close my eyes for a bit."

My eyes became heavier and heavier until it felt like they weight tons and I couldn't keep it open anymore.

Darkness envelope me.

...

"Call time of death."

.............

My eyes snapped.

Where in the world was I?

I was sure I had just died?

Was this my next life?

All the pain had vanished atleast.

I seemed to in a classroom of some kind.

A classroom of small children.

And I was one of these children.

Though one thing in particular caught my eye.

My hair was a dark blue.

And shaped like seawead.....

Well...

I guess its from the frying pan and into the fire.

Atleast I still have my music....

You know I wonder... Worm didn't have a theme I could play... But this world? This world have a fuck ton of themes and remixes.

And as began to wonder about the possibility my power felt as if it was just begging me to do it...

I'm pretty sure it wasn't a shard... So why did I feel like it was as if it was a dog wagging it's tail in excitement when about to be taken out for a walk or something?

Meh, questions for another time, right now I needed to firgure out where exactly in the Timeline I was in.

Each day he went to sleep tired, his muscles burning so painfully that he felt like they were on fire. But They were nothing compared to when he had been making nerve circuits. Yet every time he woke up in the morning he felt completely refreshed, none of the injuries or pain were present, ready to start another day.

Within 9 months of constant training of this level, he could already tell the difference.

He could run fast enough to keep up with a car at highway speeds without any reinforcement and continue for about an hour before started to get tired.

With his sensei's help, he had managed to take his Reinforcement to a whole new level. Fully reinforcing his body he could easily beat any racecar on the planet probably and was entering flight speeds. How did we know this? Sensei decided to take me to the bridge one night at 3 in the morning when there was almost no traffic at all. and set up a Speed gun which was sure had been modified in some way. But regardless. His top speed had clocked in at 397 Km/h as he had run across the bridge.

It felt unreal then he had thought he had mastered it his teacher had shown him another way to use it.

Sensei had instructed him to use reinforcement beyond his limits, except to do it for an instant.

It took him a while to understand.

Unfortunately, he failed the technique and had destroyed a few of his muscles and bones from the over reinforcement. If the teacher hadn't healed it immediately he wasn't sure he would be able to move the next morning.

Over the next few months with the teacher's instruction and supervision he had begun to practice the new reinforcement technique as he sparred with Sensei during his instruction in martial arts called Pankration.

His muscles tore, his tendons snapped his bones shattered. And each time his sensei healed him without a word of complaint nor was he disappointed. He merely told him to try again. When I tried to use thought acceleration he told me to cancel it. He told me it might give me allow me to learn it fast but if I had learned it that way I wouldn't be able to use it on the battlefield.

So it continued until one day I managed it.

I managed to do it correctly without breaking any of my bones and muscles, I had reinforced all my bones, skin, and muscles far beyond their normal limits as I was moving for a right hook, and only for an instant.

In that instant, I had to move thrice as fast as my maximum speed and actually managed to hit sensei throwing him across the dojo, before I realized what I had done and quickly withdrew all my prana from my reinforcement in horror.

The one person who had actually believed in my dream other than Dad, and the one person who actively supported me in my dream to become a Hero of Justice and I hurt him?

"Sensei! Sensei! are you alright?" I rushed to his side but he was already getting up. There was a large ugly bruise on his cheek but he was smiling.

"Congratulations, Shirou you finally did it. So. What did you do different this time?"

I realized I had successfully done it.

I had used the special reinforcement that sensei had theorized could be possible.

For an instant I had reinforced myself beyond what my body could handle, and then absorbed the Prana back from my body, dismissing the reinforcement.

Structural Analysis told me that I had some muscle tears but nothing too serious.

I could go even further Beyond, but for an even shorter time, lest my body shatters.

Still.

I managed to learn it.

One For All. The theoretical Reinforcement Sensei had conceived.

I was one more step closer to my dream.

One more step closer to being a hero of justice.

"Alright, let's go eat something. I'll fire up the console after eating, what do you want to play today?"

Though for some reason he bought a game console, when I asked for what reason it was he merely said.

"Move well, study well, play well, eat well, rest well, that is the best way to help you get prepared for your life as a hero."

I'm pretty sure he is quoting someone, though I haven't heard of it. Though considering the results I'm definitely not complaining.

"Also, I'm cooking today."

"No, you're not sensei."

"....."

"......"

"Fine....one day Shirou" He murmured giving up. Though there's no way I'm giving the kitchen to him.

After all, cooking is something I enjoy doing a lot, and if I'm supposed to play well I'm certainly not giving the kitchen up.

I don't know much about natural body but could you/shirou use alteration and surgery to get or attempt a lesser version natural body and/or golden rule (body) since on the wiki it states that the Old Man of the Mountain was able to remodel his body and has natural body due to this, and Da Vinci was able to make a body with golden rule (body), presumably using magecraft (Haven't played FGO so idk much about it)

Shirou might have thought that the time I had managed to bring him up to this level was short but he is wrong.

Perhaps he forgot about it?

The fact that I used the time-altering bounded field to give us more time?

For normal people one day lasted 24 hours.

For us each was usually about 56 hours.i also had to make sure that Shirou didn't age too fast because of the time dilation and restore his Telomerase gene every time he goes to sleep.

Shirou also now began to eat a lot more every meal as his body required far more energy and nutrients to keep with how much I was pushing him. Even Taiga and Sakura noticed how much more shirou eats now. Though Taiga now complains how unfair it is that Shirou can eat so much and still stay fit.

Of course, I stayed out of sight when Taiga or Sakura came over, even though Shirou insisted that they wouldn't mind me, I rejected it.

After all I'm pretty sure Sakura would notice if I showed myself.

On another note, Shirou had now Surpassed me in Reinforcement.

One For All, named after the Quirk, was merely theoretical. I hadn't expected it to work. It was simply a way for Shirou to get used to fighting because I knew the idiot was going to run headfirst into the grail war and there was nothing I could do to stop him.

I could barely keep up with him even when I train by myself when he is gone to school with Sakura.

Regardless.... His progress is going well. By the time I'm, done he will be able to get into fistfight heracles to a standstill atleast.

What about speak well, look well, and pose well? If he's going to be a hero of justice, he needs to practice. Better get him some study materials like Jojo manga and a magicalboy transformation mystic code that'll give him the same outfit as Archer.

This Shirou is just going to blow a lot of minds and probably worry a lot of people as they see him go toe to toe with servants.

"I'm impressed, you have quite a good grasps of the basics, your Warding skills are pretty good," Rin nodded, Of course, she was the Heiress to the Tohsaka family after all. "your, Reinforcement is fairly good for a magus, and your jewel craft is alright."

What the hell?

"What do you mean my Jewel craft is alright? Jewelcraft is a family craft! I'm not just alright at it, I m a master of it!"

"Well, certainly, but from what I've seen most of the spell that you use in jewel craft seems to destroy them in the end."

"Of course, they do! You can't release the spell in it without the Jewel being destroyed."

"Oh, you can, the method to do it is merely forgotten, but it does exist, I suppose I better teach you that before I teach you anything else. After all, we don't want you to waste any more gems. Hmm, you also need to train physically as well. You'll need a strong body if not just a strong mind."

Arrows pierced her heart one after another.

This guy... He doesn't know any tact, doesn't he?

At least he wasn't like Kirei, he wasn't taking pleasure from her suffering, he seemed to be earnest. That was the only reason she hadn't fired a Gandr at him yet.

"Alright let's begin shall we?"

Over the few months Rin had tested him several times, Particularly to make sure he was trustworthy.

Small things at first, but he passed them, then she slowly increased over the weeks, until she had purposely misplaced a few gems in a place she was certain to lose them if it had been truly misplaced.

He had informed her of them instead of taking them for himself.

He looked like someone she could trust, but she wanted, be sure. Her father had left her, Kirei had betrayed her, and Sakura was with the Matous.

She was all alone even if she would not admit it.

Her classmates were not Magi, they wouldn't understand her.

So she found someone who doesn't seem to care for her greed, someone who was a Magus and seemed trustworthy, she wanted to test him.

She hadn't expected him to pass any of her tests.

She had expected that as a Magus he would take advantage of her, but he didn't.

So she purposely started making mistakes in her spells, and he didn't hesitate to point them out. Still, she had to be careful to be a Magus was to walk with death after all.

Perhaps he was trustworthy.

But at the back of her head, she still has the lingering doubt. What did the magus want with her? Surely there must be something?

Yet, despite all of that she wanted to have someone she could trust. So as months passed she continued to test him and soon a Year had passed.

She still, couldn't trust him completely.

It was like lingering doubt at the back of her head.

But then came that day.

The day when one of her tests didn't just fail. It failed spectacularly bringing her close to death as the explosion rocked her house.

As she closed her eyes she began to regret it. Perhaps she shouldn't have done it.

But....

But...if he still doesn't take advantage of her state then at least she can truly prove to herself that she could trust him with her life.

And then the world turned dark.
