"You did say you were going to summon something quite majestic yesterday. I look forward to it Louise." Kirche said letting out a mischievous smile, her taunt so obvious that no one would miss it. Louise might have changed a lot but she was still as brash as ever and there was no way she was going to turn down a challenge.
"Hah, as if the Zero could actually do it. She might be able to simple spells now but there's no way she can do the summoning."
"Yeah, I'll bet 10 Ecu it's another Explosion!"
"It's a suckers bet!"
Especially now...
"I'll take on that bet, I bet 10 Ecu she'll manage to summon something truly unique," I called out, and several of the students looked at me like I was mad.
Louise shot an appreciative nod at me then turned to Colbert. "I shall go."
"Miss Valerie? Very well, step forward, you may begin when you are ready."
With her magic working and her newfound confidence, she didn't hide behind the crowd as she originally did.
"My familiar that exists, My name is Louise Françoise le Blanc de la Vallière. Pentagon of the five elemental powers, Heed my summoning and bring forth my familiar one I can trust my life with, powerful and intelligent!"
I expected the explosion, certainly but I didn't expect myself to feel such a sharp jerk nor the smoke to be so much as to obscure my vision. Well looks like she took my advice about chants seriously after all. That was definitely not the one she originally used.
As the smoke cleared though I began to understand what had happened...
This was completely out of my expectations.
"Really Louise, how much did you pay Guiche?"
Louise had summoned me instead of Saito.
Even Colbert was surprised. "This is certainly unexpected..." he turned to me and Louise, "we shall discuss what to do after class. Something like this has never ever happened in all of recorded history. For now who's next? "
If this was Saito, Colbert wouldn't hesitate to let the ritual go through but with me? I was from a Noble family.
Completing the familiar ritual without my permission, it would have devastating consequences, not to mention this has to be discussed with our parents, who I have been avoiding...
This was going to be a headache and a half.
Louise however looked like her world had ended, which made sense.
If she didn't have a familiar she couldn't continue her second year, which is a stupid rule in my opinion.
I reach forward and lay a hand on her shoulder to try to comfort her.
"Don't worry Louise I don't mind being your familiar." She looked up at me in surprise. "Though it would be nicer if you would consider me a companion or a comrade?"
"Really?" Her quivering voice made my heart ache and reminded me of how long she has been alone.
"Yes, really. Perhaps I shall be your knight, Madame Valerie?" I gave an exaggerated bow.
"Thank you...Sir Guiche." She let out a shuddering breath as I gently squeezed her shoulder to try and provide what little comfort I could and she leaned against me her head resting on my shoulder as if tired of everything and the jeers of her classmates washing over her.
I had come up with a few variations for the summoning chant... but I had made up my mind.
As I stood over the summoning circle Colbert asked for silence before the students quieted down.
"You may proceed Guiche." Colbert nodded.
There might not be a holy grail but I had found that the academy itself acts as a mana battery. It was why the familiar summoning ritual was held once a year. Most of the year the Academy gathers magic to be used on the day of the summoning.
However, rarely does anyone ever summon anything powerful enough that it requires the magic circle to dip into the Academy's absolutely massive reserves.
Though I did notice a small some of it used when Tabitha summoned Irukuwuku and when Louise summoned me. With its reserves rarely being used it has managed to collect a truly humungous amount of magic.
With the summoning ritual dating back to the days of Brimir, I suspect that this system was originally meant to support a Void Mages summon and to form the contract.
But with no void mages for at least the last thousand years the magic has been built up a lot...
Which meant there was more than enough magical energy built up here to summon nearly anything...
I lifted the wand that I had traced before the summoning ritual, something I had found in the unlimited blade works during my practice sessions.
I hadn't actually expected to be able to trace it...yet was able to do so.
I wasn't able to trace any Noble Phantasm higher than C-Rank as I felt the strain from trying to produce them increase exponentially every rank higher. At most I could produce Kanshou and Bakuya and that takes effort.
This, however... took nearly half an hour to trace it, not because of the metaphorical weight of creating them or the prana requirements, unlike the high-ranked Noble phantasms.
But simply because of how complicated it was...
It could be hardly called a staff.
It was called a sword yet it wasn't sharp.
But it was one of the most powerful foci that I could ever even conceive of, and I was damn lucky that I could even trace it.
I had half expected the tracing to fail...yet here it was in my hand.
The Jeweled Sword of Zelretch.
A focus that could handle a nearly infinite amount of energy.
And since Jewels were connected with the earth I got that boost too.
Taking a breath I lifted it in front of me.
"Trace, On."
I heard Louise's gasp.
I began channelling my prana through the Sword and then activated it its 'eye' widening as it opened a gap into the nothingness that was the multiverse and began to glow rainbow as the energies from infinite realities began to flow through it with my own and through the magic circle below me as it began to glow the same prismatic light.
"Silver and iron to the origin."
"You shall walk beside me, our fate shall be one connected through this sacred ceremony."
"In accordance with the approach, you shall be my lifelong companion till the end of my days, if you abide by this feeling, this reason, then answer."
"Here is my oath. I am the one who shall stand by your side when the glad tidings come. I am the one who shall stay by your side when the whole world strikes against you."
"When you have no one else to turn to, I shall accept you as you are, no matter what you may be or what your past is."
"You, from where or when, arrive from beyond the boundary of nothingness, take my hand if you accept my oath!"
Ah you damn tease, how dare you. I wonder who he'll end up summoning, it has to be someone that will want a long type of summoning, and be besides someone for a long time, Tamamo or Kiyohime maybe, although someone who wants an honorable master like Diarmuid would probably answer for that.

Ugh... Damn that Luise summon our MC is very sour for my taste, is this that "cringe" feeling I feel? This is the first time it happens to me that certainly didn't feel good at all. Sorry about that, it's just feel very sour. I can't even finish the chapter yet it's just feel very forced.

It may be cringy but it tracks in setting from what has been shown, a close emotional link overrides other factors from what was shown in the series from what I remember, so I'd be more shocked if your SI didn't get summoned by her with how much he's gone out of his way for her and the effect said actions have had

No no no if I'm remember it right Luoise want other people to know that she not a failure, especially after our MC fix and help her problem and want his recognized or something. If after all of that she still fail she probably lost her self confidence, so the highest thing in her mind after all of that is probably a normal summon or some rare one but not some bizarre summon, an human a few meters from her, though with that kind of chant like that I'm not surprise. I'm just disappointed with the chosen route I thought it will come as what if chapter/omake not a cannon one from previous discussion so yeah.

This is a vastly different Louise, who knows she's not a failure as SI worked out how to make a wand that let her cast spells properly, and as shown by the Monster Controlling Familiar of the Pope grooming Tabbies sister and her then summoning him emotional links come first before anything else in the summoning
Louise summoning the SI makes some sense, but I think it's boring, let's see if it is there what the SI summons will be more interesting.
Funny that this would have consequences or not be allowed to happen at all, Saito was possible only because he was clearly a commoner from somewhere very far away.
She had waited for 400 years for "they" but they never came...
Why did she exist?
What was her purpose?
How much longer must she guard this library?
A prismatic glow covered her door which takes her completely of guard.
What was this?
How did someone manage to get past her barrier?
"Silver and iron to the origin."
A spell? What kind of spell was this? There was no element she could sense within the enormous amounts of mana flooding her library. It was as if a mix of everything... No wait, there was a strong leaning to earth there and something else she couldn't describe.
"You shall walk beside me, our fate shall be one connected through this sacred ceremony."
"In accordance with the approach, you shall be my lifelong companion till the end of my days, if you abide by this feeling, this reason, then answer."
This.... This couldn't be....
"Here is my oath. I am the one who shall stand by your side when the glad tidings come. I am the one who shall stay by your side when the whole world strikes against you."
She couldn't believe it.. After all this time... Was this they?
"When you have no one else to turn to, I shall accept you as you are, no matter what you may be or what your past is."
The words of his oath... This spell... This was a contract... Ah... "They" were finally here..
Tears began to fall from her eyes as joy began to fill her heart. She would no longer be alone... And the oath made... It was everything she had hope hoped for.
"You, from where or when, arrive from beyond the boundary of nothingness, take my hand if you accept my oath!"
"Betty accepts!" she cried out, a bright smile on her face as she ran towards the light.
"However, my children have used me as a ladder and they always head to places so far away."
Why? Why do they leave her? Do they not love her? Was she unwanted?
"I want to love them forever."
Even if they hated her, even if they rejected her she would always love them.
"I want to be at their side forever."
She would never turn them away even if they did so.
"Is my love.....mistaken?"
Did they not want her love? Was she unwanted?
"Please...don't leave me behind."
Please...
"Silver and iron to the origin."
Ah...
"You shall walk beside me, our fate shall be one connected through this sacred ceremony."
"In accordance with the approach, you shall be my lifelong companion till the end of my days, if you abide by this feeling, this reason, then answer."
Did someone want her?
"Here is my oath. I am the one who shall stand by your side when the glad tidings come. I am the one who shall stay by your side when the whole world strikes against you."
Did someone want her love? Did someone truly wish to be with her forever?
"When you have no one else to turn to, I shall accept you as you are, no matter what you may be or what your past is."
Her children had left her. They did not need her. They did not want her.
"You, from where or when, arrive from beyond the boundary of nothingness, take my hand if you accept my oath!"
Perhaps there is someone who loved her after all...someone she could be together with, forever.
This was the third time she had stopped one of them from trying to take advantage of someone. Honestly. No wonder Homura has so much work to do.
She had wished that she would find a true husband. Someone who was honourable and would stay by her side till her end.
She didn't just want an Ashikabi. No, while other Sekirei might be happy to simply react and find a partner that was not her.
She wanted a Husband, not a hairless monkey who hid behind his Sekirei or worse took advantage of them.
But finding one?
That was something she was beginning to think was impossible. She was a single number, and one of the earliest to be released yet she STILL hasn't found someone she could truly consider a husband. She hasn't found one who she could truly consider her Ashikabi.
Her other half.
Perhaps they didn't exist in this world?
No sooner had she thought that she heard a voice all around her.
"Silver and iron to the origin."
"Who's there?"
"You shall walk beside me, our fate shall be one, connected through this sacred ceremony."
Sacred ceremony? What was this person even talking about. She tried to locate the Direction from which the voice was coming from, but it was futile.
"In accordance with the approach, you shall be my lifelong companion till the end of my days, if you abide by this feeling, this reason, then answer."
"Here is my oath. I am the one who shall stand by your side when the glad tidings come. I am the one who shall stay by your side when the whole world strikes against you."
This...She had heard of this! She knew what this was! This oath!
"When you have no one else to turn to, I shall accept you as you are, no matter what you may be or what your past is."
This was a Proposal! Something only a True Husband would do!
Had she finally found him?
Her Husband?
"You, from where or when, arrive from beyond the boundary of nothingness, take my hand if you accept my oath!"
"Very well! I shall accept your oath, but could you show yourself first if you don't mind husband to be?"
The next moment a bright light appeared in front of her... A hole in reality and a gateway to another land.
Her intuition was correct after all. There was no one for her in this world... This shall be interesting.
"I look forward to seeing your Husband, whether you are truly worthy or... just another hairless ape."
In her heart, however, she hoped that he would prove himself to her.
That he was someone she could happily call her husband... If he wasn't... she wasn't sure what she would do.
As far as I remember from the poll in a previous chapter (and from what I read)
The first was Beatrice from Re:zero
The second Tiamat from Fate Grand Order
And the third Tsukiumi from Sekirei
Since you said "timeline splits" I'm guessing that Betty goes to Sufficient Velocity/nice Guiche, Tiamama goes to Questionable Questing Guiche, and the Sekirei goes to selfish/Spacebattles Guiche? (Since you accidentally made Sufficient Velocity the nice one when originally it was meant it be Spacebattles Guiche I think?)
