Into that Vast and Unrelenting Darkness (40K Xeno Civilization Quest)

A note that depending on if you consider the book (Promethean Sun) it was from canon or not, Vulkan has denounced human populations as irredeemably corrupted and exterminated them solely on the basis that they peacefully interacted with aliens.

[X] The Sevenfold Ministry

Unsure on the Destroyer Tech, but I prefer BoomTek's aesthetic to the others, and I like a religious aesthetic that's not Western Religion based for once.

As much as I love the Raygun Gothic theme of SaucerTek, I have to go with utility as "everything breaks down" is the theme of 40k.

I'll admit I did think at first that the Destroyers could be the Imperium, but because of the focus on them being silent and black-clad plus the Orks and Tyranids getting their proper names in their descriptions I juked myself. Turns out I should have stuck with my initial read.

After all, if they were actual Destroyers, there wouldn't have been survivors.

As for the Marines... an OC Salamanders successor chapter, I'm reasonably sure. Vulkan for the Salamanders part, OC successor because I can't find any Chapter with a pauldron symbol of a hammer in flame. The Salamanders themselves technically have the right colour scheme, but the emphasis placed here implies black primary with green secondary, which is the opposite of what the 'manders have.

Salamanders huh. That was a curve ball and not at all what I was expecting. Love the story so far, very good.

As for votes.

Honestly, just not a fan of BoomTek and the the Ministry. Mostly don't just want to be Mechanicus 2 Electric Boogaloo Alien edition but without the illusion of not worshiping a C'tan.
