Into that Vast and Unrelenting Darkness (40K Xeno Civilization Quest)

Okay, we need to do this action we've been sitting on it for long enough. Unless we want Slaanesh to corrupt our culture, this needs to be done.

To be clear, while developing your old pantheon can (very obviously) help with chaos, it isn't the only route you can take. For instance, you could take the Luna Monk path and develop enlightenment matrixes, you could go all in on shrines to create protective guardians, you could work on developing more advanced mystek tools to upgrade your wards, etc.

The Dancer and co are one way to give yourself protection, they aren't the only ways.

So this plan focuses on getting the upgrades what lead to more autonomy , reliability and adaptability of our ships and/or drones , since I think this is an amazing opportunity with how our core technology is designed that we keep missing. Also , @chellewalker I am pretty sure we are on 8/10 Lifeforce batteries , not 6/10.
Thanks for the catch; another couple points on the Hermit is always a good thing.

I can't find who specifically brought it up, but in terms of weapon upgrades next turn we should have enough ACD to finish both the Teeth as well as either Extremely Advanced NukeTek or NukeTek Ultra Miniaturization (and getting the not finished one at least half-way).

I think we just failed the HazardTek roll so badly that The Bird decided to save us for a price.
Given that it said that the next HazardTek roll for Talismans wouldn't be made, I'm pretty sure that that's not what happened. This being said, I'm not feeling like objecting much, given how badly the Tekket tend to flunk those rolls. We can use the opportunity to boost the Tekket's next roll.

On that note: @The Bird, can you tell us what technologies tend to give bonuses to HazardTek rolls, and which ones trigger them?

If it doesn't say all ships are upgraded, we can't assume it means all ships are upgraded.
yes, bird has said in the past unless it says it a compartment or says upgrade needed that tech options will automatically upgrade on all ships courtesy of blocktek/living metal.

There's no real reason to put the Endeavor, which is both A) already lightly damaged and B) contains our only irreplaceable hobbgrot population anywhere (which, I might point out, look a lot like the orks these people hunt for fun) in danger. Use literally ANY other ship, or no ship at all, please.
[ ] Broken Edge Monitoring: If the Orks were right, the current caretakers of the Eco-Dome were due for a visit. With this in mind, the Directorate wanted to station a monitor ship in the hopes of gaining potentially valuable intel about an unknown transtellar polity with access to advanced metallurgy, space flight, and enough other indicators towards a peer society. Requires Endeavor Class.
The option states we specifically need to use one of our exploration ships. I am not sending the Endeavor. I am sending the accomplishment for the monitoring and the Endeavor is going to the expanse.

also for people who are concerned that my plan is not doing enough upgrades to our weapons and such I suggest voting for @10moorem II modification of my plan that grabs advanced nuk tech [] Plan: Spiritforming and better nukes

edit:
also everyone @chellewalker asked on discord and the teeth requires a turn in drydock(thanks for asking)

I usually wouldn't double post but there been a long gap inbetween post and it not against SV rules soo

If no one objects I am going to put the accompishment on dry dock since @Razzocnor and other made good arguments for dry docking it.

Thank you for reposting chellewalker!

Extremely Advanced NukTek is the priority over Ultra Miniturization imo. Because while Ultra is mostly meant for ground infantry forces, extremely Advanced NukTek enhances all NukTek.

In that case, we definitely want to start The Teeth this turn; if we don't, we won't have enough ACD to do both next turn.

or you could complete advanced nuke tech which is what @10moorem II plan
[] Plan: Spiritforming and better nukes
is doing this turn and is the same as mine plan except for that one differnce

[X] Plan: Spring Cleaning
don't think we need another endevour atm and those points can be used else where and the temple of the raod one gives a buff against malign influences which might help with whatever is going on

[X] Plan: Spring Cleaning

I really don't understand why the winning plan is investing 20 EXP into another Endeavour ship when we have plenty of better options to spend those resources on.

[X] Beastie Boyz

As a long-time fan of the band, I am contractually obligated to vote for this.

we only have 2 explorer ships at the moment making it very hard to do a good rotation of ships in and out for repair and making it much harder to explore at the result since we only have 2 ships to explore with and to be able to figure out what going in our local region. While the valiant can techincally explore it can only do a max of one scan level so it pretty shit at exploring. So I much rather grab another explo ship so we have a good number of ships to explore with, discover things, find new threat ect. Also tbh I grabbed it because elmental spires(which I will not the other plan is not doing that which could lead to a bad situation on naklis) cost 25 points and endvaour just fits perfectly into that since we have 45 points total in exp
