[x] Refuse, for now. You can't wish for the world to become perfectly fair and you don't have anything else you want to wish for right now. The orphanage where you live is doing rather well, your grades are average, you don't have any friends to use your wish for...

Is there rolling in this quest? If so, wishing for pure luck is a great use of a wish. No matter what we plan to do, a flat bonus to rolls is going to be useful.

[X] Ask Kyubey some questions.
-[X] What is your job? Why do witches kill magical girls? If I don't make a wish, will a witch kill me?

The last one is the most important.

Hmmm.

Demoralising answers and outright avoidance of answers? I... don't think anyone would immediately make a contract that way.

Fucking coobs - he only used a synonym for contract! And one that is liable to piss of anyone who watched PMMM (they require agreement from girls before fulfilling their wishes, for legalese bullshit that they shouldn't do).

It was easier to copy on my phone, so I went with it *shrug*
I don't know what else to ask him; he's unlikely to answer and this was demoralising enough for a teenage girl. Let's make us... 16, so the contract isn't legally binding, wherever we may be. I don't know where we are or what the law's like there. It's also late here, so I'll leave questions to other people.

Perhaps the benefits and... what's the word again? Can't remember it. Side effects? Something along those lines. Ugh, this is frustrating.

What I know about this cross:
PMMM has witches, magical girls and a cat that wants to save something. It's also not a liar.

I don't know what MTG stands for. My only guess is Magic the Gathering, and the only thing I know about that, that it's a card game.

Wish ideas:
Have anyone who would be considered a witch stuck by lightning repeatedly, until they die.

A happiness field. Witches are born from sadness, let's make them happier!

"I want you as a pet."

[x] We can't make a world fair. But we can work to create a person who is.
-[x] Wish for ability to transfer potential between people.

I really don't get all the people turning their nose up at a wish just because they know it's a deathtrap and expect different magic later.

[x] I wish I understood magic!

So many great wishes that we could make. So many.

Five(ish) colors of magic, roughly aligning with the elements! You get them out of lands! Usually you use them to summon creatures or perform spells.

There, that's all you really need to know since we're not a planeswalker. We probably won't even get to summon things that often, since we're kind of low power.

Edit: wr/t wishes, we can make those same great ones later, and we don't have a lot of potential right now. I don't see any point to rushing it, you know?

Maybe "wish that good things would happen to pole whenever they did something good" or "wish that people would be rewarded for their efforts"?

QB wants to get rid of entropy by applying his dubious theory of thermodynamics on teenage girls.

@LostDeviljho When you put it that way, Sayaka's death is horribly depressing.

In any case, we can't hit every witch with lightning, as that requires silly amounts of karmic potential. Manipulation of emotion might be useful, but there's already Puella Magi Adfligo Systema with the main character capable of manipulating grief.

Witches feel all their emotions coming to haunt them and feeling absolute depression before horribly dying as they kill people to prospective witches. That was
Homura's description of it as she slowly fell to despair to defend Madoka. Well, she only said that all her emotions came back to haunt her.

You can watch the three movies or watch the anime and then the third movie, Rebellion. Well, that's enough to keep up with PMMM. Hopefully, MtG will have explanations due to changed mechanics.

There's a bit of a difference between manipulating physical grief, and being able to make people happy. Think more like Cherish or Heartbreaker or someone.

Not that that would necessarily be a good wish to get here, but I could see it working out. Lots of bonuses to social?

He can wait. All he needs if for you to make one at all, and he's very good at ensuring that happens...

Side note for wishes: I'm going with intent>wording, in terms of what you initially have in mind when you make the wish. The latter does still matter, but not quite as much.

The effects if you try to wish for something concrete that's beyond your potential are rather... unpleasant.

The less power it takes to fulfill your wish, the larger your maximum reserves will be. So if you wish to heal only one person, you'll be stronger than if you had done an entire hospital floor. Your abilities may also be somewhat different, too, but not necessarily in a bad way.

The "cat" is Kyubey, an alien. Everything he says is technically correct, but he leaves out information and implies things all the time.
He contracts magical girls to use the negentropic energy they generate to attempt to halt universal entropy.
the fact that they generate the most energy when wishing and turning into horrible abominations literally made of despair doesn't bother him, because he lacks human emotions like empathy, and takes a very "needs of the many" view. when operating on a universal scale, a bunch of little girls is the few.

Why don't we wish for a permanent cognitive augmentation of some sort? Being smarter's always nice, and our power will revolve around being smarter!

[X] Ask Kyubey some questions.
-[X] Somehow, you doubt magical girls are the warriors of love and justice everyone makes them out to be. It's too good to be true.
-[X] "What's the average life expectancy of magical girls? How limited is my karmic potential? What does the contract say? What's in it for you?"
-[X] "Where do witches come from?"
