Why do I get the feeling that Humdinger decided to finance the "Evil Syndicate", and Puppeteer decided to make him its head? That is, in essence, we will become the head of an as-yet-uncreated but rapidly developing "Evil Corporation". After all, Humdinger himself is an incompetent idiot, but he has money that can compensate for VERY much, especially if he hires competent employees... like Puppeteer. That would be interesting...

Ojou-sama...

How about we have a High Table? Humdinger is in charge of the white collar crime segment of the syndicate, we are the boss lady of the Supervillian segment. Other seats can be awarded to high performers as the Syndicate expands.

Nice and canon. :)

I'll add a +5 bonus to the Spear Trait.

The aftermath of the first Supervillain scheme

(Fake screengrab of non existent episode)

@Duke William of How big is presto? i had assumed he was about as big as Mr Hat but it sounds like he is a Hand puppet sized ?

He's the size of a regular hand puppet.

Also, +10 to Hideout Actions next Turn.
Hmm point taken.

OOOOHHHH... Me Likey, Me very much likey. :D

+10 to all Actions next Turn that involve Allays and Vexes.

Do some research on her first. If she's a bitch we use her for a "your only second rate" themed encounter. If she is actually fun we throw her a bone.
As a bone I'm throwing to you all, the Ladybird is a canon Paw Patrol villain, it's just that she's appeared much earlier than in canon due to your actions.

Johanna knows nothing about Ladybird, though, so you'll need to spend an action to research about Ladybird.

I also added in a line in the Rumor Mill about how Ladybird was stopped by some regular dogs instead of the local law enforcement.

Do we see Iskanders rumor mill roll?.

I guess that it would be pretty uneventful given the base is warded to heck and back

Maby something along the lines of annoying Squirrel has had his stash of nuts disapear . Mysterious dragon footprint nearby.

He's the size of a regular hand puppet.

So more shots that could have come form a paw patrol episode then?

Thanks. Good to have size confirmation.

It does mean I am going to have to scrap Johanna sleeping on his shoulder in a copy of the Trucy sleeping on Miles Edgeworth pic.

My fault for going ahead without checking. Do you want me to post anyway?

on the other hand I am getting better at using GIMP

As for Quest updates. RL comes first. Don't get Burnt out.

As for quest advice,
My two cents as a lurker. Constancy helps Quests keep an audience. My advice would be write a little each day. Pick a day and post the start of the turn once a week on the same day and post later in the week when you have the results. Speacal events Like Schemes might take several weeks to get through.

Either way thanks for running the Quest.

So scheme idea: Kidnap the princess of Barrington and have her join us for tea while their law enforcement chases decoys and illusions all across town. We let her go once they actually find us.

We don't have any real evil plan for her because the entire thing is cross "kidnap a princess" of our super villian to do list.

For me, when kidnapping, it's worth stealing something from the castle. So to say, a distraction and so that the puppies do not relax, and in general, "tradition". Use the distraction to hide your other crime.

While our henchmen steal something, sit behind their monitors and drink tea with princess enjoying the show... and eat them with some of the dark side's cookies!

"Come the dark side princess, we have cookies!"

...us just have to learn how to make extraordinarily delicious cookies "dark side" and it's done!

But we had to hire some hencemen first.
I had been trying to convice people, that hiring some humen hencemen is a good idea.

It's just that in order for all sorts of dubious individuals to want to hire us, we need to earn a reputation as a criminal who, even in a worst-case scenario, doesn't get caught. Someone who prepares his plans with great care.

That is to give guarantees, if not profit, then the safety of their affairs... you know, relative safety.

So one or two more crimes alone and we can think about something like this, and do not forget to create a certain image for us, as well as a civilian identity for the henchmen. Set up a casino in someone else's identity?

This could also be a lesson for those who decide to gamble. After all, it is possible to lose "too much".

"I'm going to create my New Vegas with my blackjack and henchmen!"

I think your missing the point. This makes the kidnapping the side show. Also if we keep doing feints then everyone will know to expect it.

So that's the point! The whole point of our character is to make it unclear what to expect from her, and where it seems that we do everything by the book it turns out to be just another distraction.

Explosions and tinsel to distract them. Show a pattern two or more times and when they adjust to it it turns out that it was also a distraction and the real crime is happening somewhere else.

After all, if we hire more people, we can act in different parts of the city at the same time and reduce their chances of success or prioritize one thing over another.

In general, the main thing here is that others after the first crime believe that we are acting in a familiar pattern, but act with an additional scheme or commit the exact crime that they see, but think it's just a distraction.

Yes it's a standard pattern, "I know you know what I know, but it doesn't help you because you can't be everywhere at once!"

As for the kidnapping itself, they can't ignore it, which means they have to split up and reduce their chances.

After all, it is possible to commit false crimes whose only purpose is to attract attention and then escape.

Basically, we have to live up to our supervillain name and manipulate puppies like puppets, and turn our crimes into a show.

"Try to catch the shadow puppies!"

Maybe we should also learn some magic trick.
You know, to make them guess, whatevere it was spell or a magic trick we used.
To make them even more confused than before.

This could be made another one of the hobbies besides making evil cookies, yup. However, magicians have quite a few tricks with double walls and rabbits out of a hat... Duke William of, can we do that purse trick again?! I want to make a hat that we can get bunnies out of! Or a spear cane! Or magic bombs! I want to see their stretched out faces when we pull a two-foot spear out of the hat! That would be fun!

Welp Time to add these to the list.
"Casino Twins" & "Double Bunnies"...
Now we got two possible sections of OC Villians, "Super?" & "Assistant!"
A Bad Boy Rocker. (All of the images that I can find of him always have this girl in them)
A Trio of Jesters of varying levels of madness
Accurate version: Anime Humanoid version:

Do we see Iskanders rumor mill roll?.
*Faceplants.*

Imma fix that, one second...

Iskander the Scavenger: 1D100+20(Dragon)-10(Stealthy... For A Dragon) = 24+20-10 = 34

Iskander had left the cavern for reasons you hadn't been privy to. At least, until you'd returned to your hideout one day and had found him munching on some bison and deer he had caught.

...At least you wouldn't need to buy as many cow corpses as last time.

Results:

This month's expenses are reduced to $2,500.

Iskander has found some wild animals to eat, though nothing more unfortunately.

We're having Venison for dinner, then?
