Heavy Meta (No SV, You Are The Eldritch Horror!)(RECRUITING RE-OPENED)

If attention shifts away from Nick, like perhaps to the Trial, I have an idea for how he could entertain himself. Such as fiddling with what appears to be miniature replica of the Court House, but actually IS the Court House, contained within itself.

Oh dear.

. . . just don't drop it.
I'm pretty sure dropping it is physically impossible, but even if it was don't worry, it's gonna be on a table. Your main worry is anyone running into it, or perhaps Mr Judge deciding to use his gravity power, or something.

The main reason he's doing it is so he can work on improving bits of the building that is otherwise outside of his visibility range. Fixing cracks and stuff, smoothing out floors, straightening hall-ways, replacing the primary structure material with carbon-nanotubes arrays, basic touch ups.

When can the characters enter?
Wel Doylist answer is that you enter in a point where we meet Hematite the next time to introduce you, the teleport exeperiment.
So after the trail, so that means I need to get my ass into gear. However, I just write is also busy with other things as of now.
So I'll try and get my ass in gear but I am also busy with...wel real life.
But in the in universe fluff?
Wel the first characters were the first succesful batch.
Nick probally went in alone, other wise all other people who went in are very much DED.
Ashley? Who Ashley, sounds very redconned to me.
So I assume that y'all who are waiting
@CyanDies @Nucleep @argelbargel and you @munchkinomatic
Are all part of the docs newest batch which we will show off at the teleport experiment.
And Darius wil show of his new pet
Piritous.
The Alpaca made from fire.

A general summary page I planned before probally won´t happen but what happend in the IC in bullet points (if someone needs it)
>Dr.Hematittes experiment went off wel
>We explained why it happend and made social contact
>We went to the base in a buss
>However Darius, showing the first signs of being batshit crazy, told Elizabeth a very scary story of how he was forced to kill a comrade (and regretted doing it)
>Elizabeth, being a master of double think, was creeped out by Darius and Mina and attacked the group and fleed.
>Darius, Mina and Valiard tracked her down. Darius and Mina tried to talk sense to her.
>The GM lost his patience and went 'fuck it' and dropped a monster on us.
>We fought it off while the cavalry made its way to us.
>We killed the first moment, a boat
>Down time happend
>Best moment includes Darius forcing Remi and Albert to train
>After which both Albert and Remi went insane for a bit, because Brain ghost Darius. It was great.
>Your here now, the trail.
So yeah, not much
Itsa shame @silentspirals and @THatWhichWillBe are so silent
Their characters were staples
Oh Whale.

Also, for each day of downtime your there, you get-a VP
Virtual point, lets upgrade shit.
What one point buys varies, but Chester from don't starve is one point.
But so its being able to get basic hints on a person functions so you can try and take their place.

Nick does not have many things he can be proud of prior gaining powers, which is why he's upset about Grandma dissing one of the few things about himself of which he can be proud. She's right, but he isn't aware I'm even there.

Edit: Its like a poor performing kid who just got his first A, and when he was showing it off someone says it's not that impressive because someone made them super smart, they didn't figure it out themselves.

Edit 2: Depending on how Grandma responds, he's going to be in a mood to prove himself. Which will go... Interestingly if he's called as a witness.

Edit 3:
it would be trivial for her to tell if I am lying or telling the truth, through my own biology."
The veracity of her testimony would be suspect, considering that her distaste for her grandson is well known. If this was a fair trial, that is.

@GuesssWho
Morris is on a balcony, not in Mina's path.
Except if she while talking with Grandma Cacassi had expelled a mini-Mina which had made its way to Moris and burrowed into him.
Minina
Minimina
MiMina
Minia
You get the gist.

@Trondason fair warning the Judge and Proscutor are not going to have patience for Nicks...kid-ness.
The Judge because this is serious and he is kind of a dour man, Dennis because he is a dick.
Bob the attorney wil be kind however, partly because snapping at a kid is bad PR and partly because he's just kind of to childeren.
Also it hadn't klicked that Nick doesn't know Trondason is in his head.
Wel, this wil be fun.

Not surprising. He does have some idea of how to act prim and proper in official settings. Some.

I kinda mentioned it at least half a dozen times. He has no idea I'm there. He was curious every time someone mentioned a "head-mate", once assuming he misheard Mina and thought she actually said Bed Mate, but no-one ever elaborated.

Would it be possible for me to join? I have been reading the IC thread, and while I haven't finished (or figured out what point system Bound powers and abilities are allocated by), I AM interested. While I'm not aware of whether the doctor can still create a Machine, I'm simply asking if it is acceptable for me to ask to join sometime in the future; as this has been going on for a matter of months, and I'm not certain on the policy rules on "new people." That way, I know whether to start reading the OOC thread beyond Starting Post and Character Sheets.

@boo600 just ask What you think you need to know and I'll answer them for you.
Speaking of the point system
A single point can buy you a simple pet (like Chester, Who is a quasi-teleporting pocket dimension) or in @GuesssWho 's case, a mini hivemind and being to have an instinct that makes impersonating someone easier.
At higher levels?
While I _believe_ @I just write mentioned are starting points are 40.
The less Abilities the more powerful they are.
Keep in mind that we know What high level liquid arts (live) and solid arts (elements) look like.
One can kill With a look, raise the dead and create Kajiu's from nothing.
The other can turn matter into energy and has quantum shannigens.
We are kind of above that by cheating.

So yeah, just ask.
About showing up later...that is up to the GM.
Also What do you think of the characters?

Did I mention that I like making characters?
For if my boi Darius ever dies.
Never going to happend but I need to be sure damn it.
I mean, I mostly made him for funsies and because as someone who has never played Final Fantasy, discoverd Gilgamesh and found what little I say of him quite charming.

Superhuman trait - Beyond Mortal Ken: Carne is Faster, Stronger, Tougher and has more accute senses then any other mortal. Not by much but it is noticable
Blatant meta - 10 paths of destruction: Carne is able to increase the amount of arms he posses, from his stanard one arm to ten. Each added arm causes his body mass to increase, causing him to not only larger but tougher (thicker skin) and faster/stronger (stronger muscles). The downside is that his size leaves him little room to move. With two arms he is twice as large as his stanard form, three arms thrice as large etc. His full ten path form leaves him a gaint. Everything he has on him grows and changes with him, becoming more ornamental and brutal as it goes.
Blatant meta - Price of Victory: After defeating a powerful opponent in combat, Carne gets a weapon that reprisents the defeaten foe. The power, type and abilities of the weapon depend on the foe bested by Carne.

Special Equipment:

The Tale of Carne: The armour worn by Carne. This Ees'Vee crafted armour is tougher then most mortal materials and is suprisingly light. The armour records all battles won by Carne in its steel, the size of the mural depended on how hard the battle was, how recent it was and what affect it had on Carnes story.
The War Gods Shadow: Woven in the cloak are stylized versions of everyone who Carne was activly involved in killing. The size and prominance differs (most mortals he has killed are so small that they flow together patterns).
Bloodied katana: The Weebiest and Edgiest Katana with a black hilt and a blood red blade, a black dragon pattern tracing it. Any wound caused by this Katana wil bleed profusely, more then it by any right should.
Ten Scimitars: You have to start somewhere, these engraved scimitars are the blades that start Carne's story.

Wait, we have a point buy system?
I think I mentioned it before, but I have a tendency to forget things...like missing words during writting and in the long run.
So Yes, point buy. Virtual points. Extremely fast and lose. For each day of day time your here you get one VP.
It buys you a basic pet, a new (basic) ability or upgrades excisting ones.
What basic is, is on a case by case basis.
You start With 40-ish points, I think.

So now there's three of her. Poor Mr. Morris is going to have a very hard time LOL

lso, there is more solid proof that his power can't be enhancement. Nick? Would you mind punching yourself?
You need a greater relationship to ask him to kill himself.
Mina returns to her place once her point is made.

Well, most of her does. The scrap that she sent on its mission is curling around the unpleasant fellow's vital organs, growing in his body cavity. "Hello, Mr. Morris. It's such a pleasure to meet you, Mr. Morris." It settles into place around his brain, his heart, his lungs. "There are going to be a few rules from now on . . ."

How patient is Mina? Cause this is a fully sapient copy of her, spending all of her time doing nothing besides baby-sitting this fella.
