Heavy Meta (No SV, You Are The Eldritch Horror!)(RECRUITING RE-OPENED)

. . . how elderly? Menopause aside, women aren't always strong enough to survive pregnancy after 55 or so.
...The thing is I can and wil pull the 'she is a liquid arts user so is a bit more sturdy then a normal woman' card.
Granted I do not know the extend of that
(Edit: I did not know that Guessswho and I did not think about that.)

Depends on how much effort they put into it. Constant training for her entire life is basically how Grandma Cacassi got where she is, and she can literally punch an oncoming train hard enough to send it back the other way. Just using it as a supplement for mundane skills would probably leave her a bit below professional athlete level, maybe a bit better if she exercises.

I feel like the really relevant question here is who changed the girls' nappies and generally did the raising?
I might change it if because lore reasons this is not possible, but I think an ex-militairy liquid arts medic turned head matron of an orphange.
Thing is, atlhough she would be beter at it, she would also be very busy. Darius maybe kept a job to support them, but I think he did most the general raising.
This is before the mother died in an exident and Darius got Altzheimers, after that Darius gave Custody away to someone he trusted (because he did not trust himself anymore).

If the wife runs an orphanage, why wouldn't the elderly couple just enrol their kids in it?

I expect Darius was more kid-friendly back then, but he was still over seventy.

Also, an an ex-military liquid arts medic sounds really hard to kill in an accident.

Anyway, something I should explain regarding Sarah Cacassi and her outspoken criticism of the current social order. Namely, that the government has indeed tried to have her disappeared. Of course, there is a distinct problem with trying to kill someone so badass that soldiers joke about her being death's commanding officer. None of the perpetrators have dared try again, since the very
next day the entire senate simultaneously came down with a nasty flu that lasted a week and a half.

Nick (Trondason)
Recruiting is Re-Opened, you (the title-text) say? Well, might as well throw my hat into the ring.

I'm usually pretty bad at such open systems like this, because I have a natural inclination to want to min-max, but I know I shouldn't do it TOO much, so I gotta struggle with myself to try to think of what is good but not too good. So, if what I do is too much/little, here's what I'm going for. You should recognize it @I just write I wanna to be The Guy.

Host Name: Nick
Host Age: 12
Mental Description: A determined young chap who exudes (false) self confidence and ambition. He wants to be The Guy!
History: An Orphan with dreams of Fame and Fortune and Importance! When he say advertisements for getting beings from beyond shoved into your head for exchange for super powers, he knew this was his chance!
Balance Meter: -1

Capabilities
Mundane Skills: Parkour: He has had to run away from a lot of things, and has gotten pretty darn good at it! When the streets aren't good run-away locations, he learned to climb stuff!
Decent at hiding, but doesn't like doing it. The Guy doesn't hide! He stands out in the open! But... sometimes when faced with a scary enough threat, he can admit that he's not The Guy. Not yet.

Combat Skills: Pistol: He played around with fake guns all the time! Surely all that practice must have made him a good aim, right???

Powers:
Blatant Meta - Respawn - Everytime Nick dies, he respawns at his last checkpoint! The downside, he dies anytime a deliberate attack hits. But who cares! He'll just try again!
Blatant Meta - Infinite Jumps - He can just keep jumping, and jumping, and jumping!
Blatant Meta - Third Person View - Nick can see everything around him, even stuff on the other side of walls!
Blatant Meta - Level Editor - He can change change his environment! Spawn Spikes! Drop Deadly (or normal) Apples on people heads! Make those Apples fall up, just because he's that awesome!

Equipment:
The Gun: A Pistol that can kill anything with enough shots! Absolutely anything!
The Cape: A Cape that forever billows heroically in the wind, no matter what!

Things Learned
Architecture: The ancient art of making things that don't fall down! 1 point.

You put up fair points Silent, I wil put more thought until the backstory before I put it up Again. Then I can change it based on the feedback.
Thanks for the feedback already given.

That's a whole bunch of powers. They're going to be considerably weaker than normal. You might want to condense them or some into a more general power. It'll be more powerful, just less specialized. (Ex. Third Person View and Respawn combine into Third Person Video Game Character)

I was thinking that perhaps that, even though it's 4 different powers, that some of them are pretty specific, and one comes with a inherent downside (1 HP), it'd even out. Like, Infinite Jumps. That's not that powerful of a power, so wouldn't use many "points".

Has Just Write said that condensing powers like that get more powerful powers?

I don't think He did.
There are invisible 'points' however and having multiple powers spreads it thin.
However, I think third person video gamer character is fine, Because it is more versatile.
Look up Grandma Cacassi in informational. She is a very powerful 'mortal' character. We bound are a bit stronger that Then that, I believe.
And seeing as grandma Cacassi can resurect the dead and kill with a touch? Yeah were actually pretty powerful If you want to pull that powerful. If your too strong I just write wil probally warn you.
I don't think you need the 1HP thing. However your character probally needs to set a save point otherwise they respawn home
But that is my view on things as a fellow player.

Kill with a look.

I was thinking the inability to truly die would be rather powerful. There ain't any way to truly kill him without getting Blatant Meta, he just keep respawning. Which is why I added teh 1 HP thing. Plus, I like the idea of him trying again and again, dead bodies piling up. With more "points" from teh downside, it might be easier to set save-points at the beginning (or close to) of the fight, better enabling that.

The fact She can kill with a look shows how powerful granny Cacassi truely is.

I think that power of being unable to die is decided by three things: Your respawn time, where you can respawn and how easy it is for you to die.
If your character can instantly respawn after death from a spawnpoint they can set at wil? They wil be quite the fighter, even If they are made from papermaché.

Darius wil probally show his lack of social skill (nowadays) and show Nick how to properly use a gun.

The most I was hoping for, was a re spawn of a few seconds (basically, long enough to see you died), and checkpoint that was a few "rooms" ago (Takes a small bit to get back, but not TOO long). If I get a better deal that that, I'd be happy, but it's the most I'm hoping for.

"I know how to use a gun! You do it like this! Bang bang!" (Yes, he says Bang Bang when he shoots The Gun)

Edit: I kinda like the picture of "Could tank a tank" old bitter jaded guy helping out the "Die from a little girl slap" eager optimistic kid.

Honestly, the respawning, third person view, and the infinite jumping only take up about half of @Trondason's points, with most of that going to the respawning. This means that Level Editor will be really high level, able to severely warp landscapes out to about half a mile, fast enough to build a skyscraper in about thirty seconds.

I wonder if I could convince Doctor.Iron to call us something other than 'Evv'See'.

I'd have spelled it Ezvee, to make it flow better, but I did get the joke.

But it's tradition for the names of eldricht horrors to contain lots of unnecessary apostrophes!
So in that case, I assume that when our names get spoken in the mortal realm random apostrophes show up.
Because the mortals are unable to speak our tonque!
And not because it sounds more otherwordly like that, how dare you think that?!
Lizard'Knight
Guesss'Who
Silent'Spirals
Sha'ard
etc.
