@I just write I have a retcon request
Can I change Darius age from 59 to 79?
When I chosen that original age I did not realise the exptend of Liquied arts...that and the extend of the blinds power.
I mean, He a badass OLD man, 79 is older, So more fun.
We can say that the orignal 59 was a an error, like Darius writting is was to unreadable So Nobody realises how old Darius actually is.
Which wil make for a fun character moment.
 
I have a sneaking suspicion that the ship may actually be made out of flesh. It's a monster, after all.
 
@I just write I think I have a...'fun' way of expanding Darius backstory. The additions are in the spoiler

Addition one is the most the depressive on, before the experiment Darius was starting to have Altzeheimers. The process was slow, but the memory of friends and family (and early memories) went first. However, when I was put in his head the process was stopped. His memory can come back, but the process is not instant. It also fucked with his brain chemistry, which is my explantion why Darius acts kind of insane. Appearently putting a meta being into the brain of an Altzheimers patient is not the smartest Idea. How did Darius get in? Mina got in and she against the government, Elizabeth got in on accident, Remi got in because people wanted him dead. Clearly this experiment had terrible operational security.

The second addition is that Grandma Cacassi and Darius know eachother. I imagine grandma cacassi wanted to test her liquid art skill in the field and this is where she met Darius. They probally met with Darius dragging in near dead people. She is probally the reason Darius got into the art, partly because he admired her and partly because she probally made him help.
Why could grandma Cacassi not cure his Altzheimers? My excuse is that Darius got his brains blown out when they were both younger. Grandma Cacassi saved him and the process went fine...however, because Darius super human trait (read addition 3) he survived enough for Sarah Cacassi to heal him, but it left a 'scar'. On its own its harmless, however it sat in the way of healing the altzheimers. Sarah could not cure it, Darius just accepted it.
Then he forgot about that and joined the super soldier program.

Addition the third, Darius 'survive the weirdest shit but get a scar' runs in the family. Nobody knows where it comes from, but it is heriditairy. Not everyone gets it though.

Further, I am planning to add a trait in the next downtime (or now if allowed, granted it would power down bad ass grandpa probally because they are both meta...I am prepared to take that choice)
Imma call it 'Rotting tree with deep roots'.
It is pretty much the subtle meta concept that is friends with/related to/or knows a lot of powerful and/or influential people...but remembers none of it because he remembered all his guilt first and doesn't remember all the living people in his live...yet.
The first of those is, ofcourse, Sarah Cacassi. The others have to do with his childeren (and wives...yeah he married a few times but all of them are dead...)

(I have no solid time spots in mind for the events, but they are along Darius 89 year run.)

Honestly, if you knew Grandma Cacassi, and visited her recently, her approach to that Scar would have basically amounted to 'have you tried turning him off and on again?' (End Process+True Resurrection). It's certainly possible for specific weird injuries to resist Liquid Arts healing, but if there's ANYONE who would know a way around it, it's Sarah Cacassi.

Seriously though, if you tossed someone who was basically a barely-alive pile of charred gristle in front of her, she'd basically do a mercy kill, then rez them.
 
Not sure if that interests me, it seems like too much of a coincidence. Plus, my RL family has far worse issues for me to borrow from LOL

I could make excuses (like the scar coming from the binding process...again we have established Darius memory is not trustworthy) but I think that would be too...I dunno cheap.
Another to cheap option is to have the scar happen after last seeing grandma carcass but again not a good option.
So let's just scrap it.
But hey that is why I asked, so I'll change where the daughter stays.

Eh, it was mostly fun to me, if you don't want it then that is oke.

Soo, my thought on my next action:

Control Flames (Psion/Wilder 1) - Control Flames – d20PFSRD

Since Albert seems to be a 7th/8th level caster, I believe he can increase the size of the flames by three steps. And neatly enough, there is Power at a Price as an option: Things like Wild Surge and Overchannel to up effective CL at the price of (Various) and straight damage, respectively.

...I wonder did I mention shrödingers Rannoch? What I mean by that is that if Rannoch was not With us fighting the ship I would have given the rifle to elzabeth.

I was wondering if anyone was gonna notice I hadn't been active.

Honestly, this just seems to move too fast, I can give a good post every few days this seems that I may need multiple a day.

I will check the IC and give a final answer tonight,

Edit: Quick posting is mostly needed in a character interaction situation, past that you often have to Wait for the GM So not posting twice a day is less a problem.
I noticed that you did not post, but know how to mention it ._.

However between the writing I'm doing for my paetron and school I'm busy.

So, as you probally know the train arrives in the cove with Elizabeth, Mina, Darius, Valiard and the later two´s pets. Pirate makes his opening speech. As seen on the map, on the left their two walkways going upwards (one higher then the other) and to the right are steps down, going to a dock with a gunboat.
There is fifty meters between the train and the gunboat (30 meters vertical). The train has 20 meters clearance vertical and the lake has 60 meters clearance.
The monster is made from three tropes: underground level, father neptune and out-gambitted.
So we are in an underground cave, against a pirate monster that counters everything we do.
Lastly we now have to roll stuff, but most people use D100.
As you probally assumed, those grey blocks on the map represent the train. There are Civilians there, but they are either knocked out or cowering in fear.

Valiard moves towards the stairs as mini-Valiard and gets blown up by mines. Darius laughs and gloats at Elizabeth that this is a place of war and not sniveling brats, then goes to heal Valiard and sends Typhon to deal with the mines. Mina turns into a bird so she can fly to the water and jump in. The monster then counters that by opening a secret entrance where a scruffy pirate with a blunderbus comes from to attack Typhon. Meanwhile the gunboat opens fire on mina with incendiary flak charge (perfectly timed to hit her).

Mina rolls low dodge so just dive bombs into the water. Darius kills the pirate by shooting it with the fancy gun he stole from Elizabeth (lets assume she did not blow Darius up because she saw him kill that pirate she did not even notice). The pirate turns out to be made from clockwork. Darius shoots a bullet at the flak, to seem like he is blowing it up but it passes perfectly through the flak and ruins the front auto-cannons of the gunboat and kills some clockwork crew man. Darius takes the time to check on the clockwork crew man and fix the gun Elizabeth damaged (Feisten service pistols are durable like you would not believe). The passage way the pirate came out of is still intact, but it is clearly a trap as it can collapse any moment, so Darius throws a pebble in and the passage way collapses. He wanted to make sure he did not get flanked.

It is a this point that the gun boat turns its broadside, it guns glowing green ready to open fire. (this is what the GM threatend to kill Elizabeth with). Mina was in the water but got bits of her destroyed by a depth charge. Mina turned into a drill in drilled into the bottom of the gunboat. Darius shot three of shots of Elizabeth's his rifle towards the broadside of the ship, intend on blowing it up. He then walked to higher ground on the walk way, Typhon checking for traps. Valiard has done nothing else but is probally recovering after the healing Darius gave him. The magical healing fall flat but the mundane healing went pretty great.
(Oh and Darius has been throwing lowkey shade at Elizabeth for doing nothing this whole time and enjoying being usefull in combat.)

Meanwhile, while we are busy fighting a pirate @TheMaskedReader tips of Remi that we are fighting a monster. So Daniel gets into his rad-ass ship the gunbee with Remi giving directions. This was never mentioned, but lets assume @Shard and @Janus are in the gunbee aswel, but in the passenger seats and not in the cockpit with Remi and Daniel.

Lastly, because I want to, about the gun Elizabeth found.


Darius has currently 3 rounds left in his magazine, because he fired 5 of them. So he has 19 rounds in total.

Did I miss anything important @silentspirals should know, @I just write ?

Camp God-damn-it-following-Elizabeth-was-important-afteral-now-we-have-to-catch-up consits of Dennis (NPC so @I just writes territory), Remi (@TheMaskedReader's haunt), Rannoch (With the lords of passages and bad practical jokes himself, @Janus (What I am not bitter the blob ya yapping about?)), Geoff (@Enerald_Mann), Dr.Dave (@Zedalb) and lastly but not leastly Albert (@Shard).
Remi is currently helping Dennis, Dennis is flying the awesome-bee and Albert is doing some ranged assistance without knowing what were fighting through the power of meta.
Also Rannoch is there, hasn't done anything in this scene yet.
Also Dr.Dave and Geoff are there, Geoff has done nothing since the labscene I think. Haven't even seen Dr.Dave show up yet.

That is my summary of things.

However, what is important for you @Janus is camp dos. You are in the gunbee being flown by Daniel, or poor insomniac cinnamonroll of a caretaker.
Remi (@TheMaskedReader 's character) is helping him navigate. While Albert (@Shard 's special boi) is doing meta shannigens.
You are sitting in the ship with Albert and two other characters who have done little up to now. The Gunbee is military transport and you have plenty room to sit.

For further ease of use, the battle is undergrond vs a monster made of the following tropes: [Father Neptune, Out-gambitted and Underground level]
We are, as you can guess, in a cave. (That is camp uno, the people not the gunbee with you, Shard and masked reader)
We have no clue how we got there.

This is all old summaries for Some background knowledge.

So the cave crew - Darius (yours truely) Mina (@GuesssWho ), Elizabeth (possesed by @silentspirals ) and Valiard (@THatWhichWillBe ) defeat the gun boat. Mina lost Some mass, as She was crushed and bloem up, not in that order.

After the ship was wrecked the gunbee arrived With Albert (@Shard ), Remi (@TheMaskedReader ), Rannoch (@Janus ), Geoff (@Enerald_Mann ) and Ofcourse, Dave). The bound jumper out of the gunbee, as the hole was to small for it to enter.

Remi went to calm/rally the civilians in the train.
The monster had caused all tunnels to collapse, except for the one that let to it (or atleast, where it knew were we would enter). Darius, Elizabeth, Mina, Valiard and Albert were confirmed to enter the cave. Everyone else (Dave, Rannoch, Geoff) are currently Shrödingers bound, for all I know.


The cave fighting crew made plan before hand, Because Albert had invoked unspoken plan garuantee, So we did not talk about it. Ofcourse the monster did NOT Tell us its plan...So yeah it Also benefited from that.

So we entered the cave and the monsters rocking theme starts. The monster is a ghost ship (it looks to be made of wood...but it is a monster). It had its broadside turned to the enterance and shot the roof to make it collapse, but we destroyed it with yugioh trap card curtesy of Albert. Not all rocks were destroyed, those were shot back at the ship.

Then the ship moved its masts, using it sails as shields to block the rocks. However, Darius had shot four rounds at the rocks, Because the rocks were destroyed however they could fly past them and hit the boat (the second time Darius pulled this shit). The blat still blocked it with its sails, but it created Some holes in them. The ship Then start to shoot lazers from the tips of its sails. Elizabeth blocks the lazers.

Valiard, Who can shrink, was Climber on and a rode a (regular) bullet shot by Darius and flew through one of the new holes in the sail. He Then grew and started to smash the ship.
Mina is in the water, to attack the monster underside.
We were attack from the back too. Some of the clockwork crew in the gunboat had survived and salvaged an autocannon and attack us in the back. Darous gave his rifle and ammo to Rannoch and Then bull rushed the crew, killing them.
Albert flame stricked the monster, Then started to control the fire (making it harder to douse) and make Valliard friendly flame proof.

The monster Then stopped to fire TS lazers and used its sails to scoop water on itself. The monster is defensless when we get below deck you see.

So currently
