I looked up trap negating affects and found the following




Granted...this was caused my the action of a 'monster'...so wouldn't it be a monster effect instead?
What the actually happens when an effect triggers in yugioh is fluff...so seeing as the field is belonging to the monster I personally think it can be counted as a monster affect.
Granted the problem with that is...

You know...at the start I was a bit more dark then need but I had an idea I kind of like...
That is that while Darius IS smart and wants to help people, he suffers from brain damage after rather nasty attack.
Yes he got healed, but it left him with a murky memory causing him to misremember things at times, some times even forgetting he has friends and familiy until they show up at his door and the memories flood back.
...which is also very dark.
(Edit: or Maybe He just doesn't talk about his living friends and family. Darius is a man that holds on to guild afteral)

This partly because I want Darius to have a(n estranged) daughter.
Who while way more socially skilled then her dad, is build like an ox.

In other news, now you're getting to see out-gambited fully in play, rather than the straightforward countering of your actions you saw earlier.

EDIT: Remi is still by the trainwreck, meaning he could easily flank the group with the autocannon.

NOTE: Unless one of a monster's tropes explicitly implies some level of benevolence, attempting diplomacy is futile.
 
It was either going to be Warp Wood (Druid 2) or Warp Metal(Druid 4), but I figure Flame Strike(Druid 4) works just as well.
 
Yep, that's just inside your limiters for what your current level of random access magic allows.
 
I'd grab the power to retcon my posts like say 10 minutes in the past.
