That and no strategy based on exploiting the map info we have, though I bet it's all going to go to shit after the next update anyways. WE should probably plan to carefully ration our resources, this might not be the end.
The GM has hinted that some sort of Boss enemy is going to show up if we can kill everything.
I've been thinking of potential candidates for jamming source plus "accurate coordinates for teleports" and well, I'd like to see what this thing is. Because it's possible were screwed anyway.

I doubt it's him though - because I don't think Ridley would settle for mission control. Also I don't think he can jam comms.
I can't find anything that would fit from the Metroid-verse (outside of, say, Mother Brain, and I really really don't think it's her). Quite a few things that would fit from Worm-verse though.
[x] See if Skitter can call up some sea monsters or lure that Hydra back out of the depths for support. Lazerdeathcrab would be very handy at this point.

Samus is a woman of extreme emotions. Who also goes with first impressions, like Glory Girl! Unlike Glory Girl, she can change her mind as facts come in. In the end though, someone always gets punched.
Victoria however just keeps cursing under her breath. "Stupid fucking bus driver could fucking have flown there the motherfucking piece of shi-"
"HEY!" A voice interrupts her, drawing everyone's attention.
A blonde girl, about Missy's age, was pointing a finger at Victoria. "You shouldn't swear!"
Victoria to her credit did not reply, and instead just stared blankly at the girl.
"You're a hero so you shouldn't swear!"
A woman the girl was with suddenly grabbed the girl, apologizing profusely to Victoria, though she was calling her Glory Girl. The Bus stopped and the woman practically dragged the girl off the bus, her face completely red. "Riley what on earth were you thinking-"
And then the Bus sped off.
"What the fu-" Victoria starts.
"I think she raised an excellent point!" You state.
Ah right, thank you. Everything has really started to blur together. Guess she never triggered in a car crash with her parents here. Wonder why they are in city though.
God a good bonesaw would be amazing. Forget which fiction I read install that she probably goes by Frankenstein. Super AU

In Weaver Nine, Riley is good. But she is really young and doesn't understand why someone wouldn't want combat tentacles if it makes them better at using their powers.
I think that you are thinking of That Gnawing Worm, Cancer which is a rather large AU. There Riley goes by Sara Bellum the Frankenstein in that fic is Fran Madaraki who is mostly just a cameo who serves as a point of comparison between biotinkers.

Ah that's it. Super AU, like wow! Yeah I don't think which is which was ever given. I just assumed the more horrifying one has to be Riley, that and no civilian like name was given.
Behind the dottiness GU has the best idea of basically anyone of how the system works. Space Pirates are very clearly not part of the program and would be treated as the outsiders that they are.
Also, does anyone else think that a battle between Serious!GU and Ridley would either be very short (GU has a teleporter, Grey Boy or similarly invincible cape, and a Stranger power, ports up and deathtouches Ridley) or very long (neither side can kill the other easily, both sides are hugely tough and fast, etc)? Because while the lower power capes aren't really on the radar as far as Metroid is concerned the upper tier (Triumvirate, GU, Siberian if they don't know about Manton, etc) aren't exactly slouches.

It largely depends on how parahuman powers can effect Ridley with his unique physiology plus psychic abilities.
Also I don't think he would fight fair - Space Pirates are not just studying powers but the multi-dimensional phenomenon that is behind those powers. We've already seen an example of anti-parahuman countermeasures with the drones.

I figured it'd be a bit obvious with the countermeasures and such but yes, the Pirates know exactly how Parahuman powers work and what Scion actually is.
[X] Plan Trickshot
[X] Everyone but Samus should stay behind the shield, and focus on providing whatever ranged support they can give
-[X] Weaver summons everything within her range to throw at the Space Pirate forces, focusing on the Zeta Pirates, then the Militia. Samus points out their biological weaknesses so Weaver can target them.
-[X] Have everyone with a Power Suit or armed with a Federation rifle fire Missiles in volleys, while Vista manipulates their path so they hit the most vulnerable areas, i.e. Behind the crawlshields, on the greatest concentrations of Militia, the ATCs weak points, etc.
-[X] If the shield goes down, retreat back to the Arbalest's shield. The building would funnel the Pirate Militia that may try to swarm them.
[X] Samus's general strategy is to keep aggressively bouncing between enemy concentrations to avoid getting bogged down. Keep the enemy forces confused and in disarray.
-[X] Primary targets are the Pirate ATCs, and then by order of priority: the crawltanks, crawlshields, everything else.
"Everyone, stay here focus fire on the pirates. I'll take out the ATC's and shields. Weaver, you bringing in arthropods?" You state quickly as you take in the battlefield.
"Oh yeah, reinforcements are on their way." Weaver replies with an almost... pleased tone? "These things have any biological weakness to bee stings or something? Tried landing a fly on them but they keep slipping off-"
"No, they'll fight to the death." You reply, vaguely aware you're growling each sentence out. No time to take deep breaths to calm yourself, just a pause before you give in to your rage.
"Vista, stay in cover but warp space however you can. Keep them out of their cover and unable to strike back. If you can, manipulate space so our shots land."
"On it!" Vista says as she suddenly steps up onto the roof.
"Wait, isn't Mouse in charge-" Flashbang begins before said hero cuts him off with a "Just shoot at the monsters!"
You don't even watch if they follow through, instead leaping off the building and over the Pirates heads. Energy bolts fly through the air as the Pirates open up on you. You nimbly avoid them, jets firing to keep you mobile. Missiles lock on as one ATC drifts into view and you fire, five missiles streaking towards their target.
The ATC darts suddenly to the left, the missiles impacting its side. The explosions do little more than rock it slightly as its tribeam cannon affixes itself on you. A burst of light and a blinding flash sends you careening to the ground, just barely catching yourself on the ground. You dash aside to avoid another burst of return fire as the other ATC's open up with you, along with the Pirates they were supporting. Pavement exploded and vaporized into superheated particles of shots impacted around you. A glance allows you to lock onto the ATC that hit you originally and five more missiles erupt from the end of your arm cannon.
These five do hit.
The heat vent buckles from the force before in an instant the fuel gel inside catches fire and ignites. The blast doesn't so much cause a catastrophic loss of flight so much as completely obliterate the ATC, its metal frame bubbling before bursting apart in a shower of flaming debris. Whatever pilot was inside likely died before they even realized what happened, blown to pieces in an instant. The pirates underneath it were showered in chunks of flaming material, the pieces bowling over a few militia as debris struck them with force. Unfortunately pirates were made of sterner stuff, and they climbed to their feet or shot at you from the ground.
You weave between these energy bolts, an afterimage the pirates were chasing after. You focus on an ATC, preparing to level your arm cannon as the lock-on ticks up to five. Movement catches your eye, and you turn to see-
-A claw snap around an older boy, his body bursting apart in a shower of gore. People scream as bolts and explosions sing through the street, the lucky ones flying apart into chunks of flaming meat. The rest vanish into beak like mouths, still thrashing as the pirates devour them alive-
You snap out of it just in time for the claw to close around you, lifting you up with ease and slamming you into the ground. The Zeta pirate snarls, before firing off several bolts straight into your gut. You free a hand from the pirates grasp before driving it into the creatures eye. Reflexively its grip loosens and push yourself away from the creature, a charge shot building. It charges at you with claws outstretched, fully aware the charge shot alone couldn't kill it. And it doesn't, passing harmlessly through the Pirate. For a moment it pauses, blinking at its chest where the bolt went through it. It barely catches the energy bolts from your friends scything through its comrades from the hole that appeared in its defenses with the destruction of the shield generator before its torn apart.
Got to say, you enjoyed that far more than you should. But with materials drawn in you were partially restocked, luckily too as the ATC's and militia were turning towards you now. Backflipping away as the ground you were standing on vanishes into molten vapor you lock onto the second ATC, letting loose a volley of missiles. It too vanishes into an explosion of debris, and you see Triumph and Aegis pump their fists at your victory from the position they were firing at. Of course, you vaguely notice that quite a few of the heroes weren't firing directly to kill even with the lock on's they had, subconsciously avoiding being the one to deliver the killing blow. That'll need to be trained out when dealing with Pirates.
The other ATC's turns towards them, focusing more on keeping fire on breaking the shield rather than risking exposing their weakness towards you. A costly mistake, as you catch a wave of Vista's arms and space compressing as Brandish, Manpower, Velocity, Dauntless and Battery let loose missiles. They impact the Pirates heat vent as it tries to veer away, forgetting for a moment where its comrade was. The ATC crashes into the other and explodes, buckling the other's armor. One of its engines explodes, causing the it to veer wildly as jets fire to reorient the craft. But its all for naught as it jerks and splutters before it careens into the other building and explodes with devastating force, obliterating the pirates on the roof and collapsing the building.
Momentarily stunned by the fortuitous turn of events you almost miss the sounds of hundreds of chitinous limbs pulling themselves out of the water.
You don't miss the sounds of energy bolts tearing through the pirates ranks, and you turn to witness the cavalry arriving as Weaver whoops and yells over the comms.
"COME GET SOME YOU ALIEN FUCKS!"
Samus Energy [46 (03)] Missiles: 18
Tank Crabs, maybe 200 of them, pour of the ocean and wash over the pirate forces like a tsunami of chitin and blue fire, some even climbing over the others to get at the pirates. Other were smashed apart in the crabs claws, green blood spraying everywhere. The militia's weapon fire bounced off the crabs durable shells, only serving to aggravate the massive beasts. In a moment you were surrounded, and you had to resist the urge to hug one of the crabs as the pirates dying screams reached your ears.
"AHAHAHA, I'M NEVER EATING CRAB AGAIN YOU BIG BEAUTIFUL GRABBY-THINGS YOU!" Mouse crows over the comms, and you see her hopping up and down on the roof as a cheer goes up from the other heroes.
Then something explodes out of the roof of the factory.
"JUSTICE RAINS FROM ABO-oh, you guys won already. With Crabs." Dragons says blankly, and you swear you can hear her blinking in surprise.
"Ahahaha! Some showing these bastards had!" Assault adds in.
And then it hits you, and you burst out laughing.
"Yeah Sa-Huntress! We all made it out in one piece!" Glory Girl chimes in, and you see her waving both arms from the top of the factory.
You keep laughing, but now it was taking on a hysterical tone.
"Huntress?" Concerned voices start to ask.
"Hahaha... this... This was them getting greedy. Ahaha... Stars it makes sense..."
"This... haha... they jumped the gun! Those ATC's were equipped with Endbringer capture weapons!"
"What?!" Armsmaster shouts. "But how could they... oh no."
"Oh yes! They... hahaha... They wanted to grab me when Leviathan attacks here! Probably soon! Leviathan and all the Chozo artifacts they could ever desire! But whoever was the commander got greedy! Wanted me first even though taking Leviathan probably depends on me! That's why its just been nothing but the soldiers slaves!" You stop laughing, body shaking.
"They... they don't have any forces to throw at us, just slaves and robots they dragged along. But that would mean whatever is attacking us has to be almost out of troops... but we haven't encountered the commander yet!" Dragon suddenly yells.
"Yes, and pirate honor demands that this commanders misjudgment either be met with success or death trying! Probably has a ship somewhere, jamming everything! He's probably calling in every favor he can right now to fix his mistake!" You explain, trying to keep your voice even to stop you from yelling. Anger is simmering, boiling within you as it slowly dawns on you how many people have probably died in the city just because a pirate jumped the gun in trying to capture you.
"So we just have to hold out until this commander shows up?" Lady Photon asks. "Good, the faster we kill these things the faster we can get to the people in the city."
"It would appear so, but how many 'favors' can this commander call in-DAMNIT! Contacts approaching at supersonic speeds! They must be more ATC's!" Dragon suddenly yells out. "I'll intercept, you all stay put!"
And then she speeds off, a sonic boom going off right above your heads as the Dragonsuit instantly accelerates from rest.
"Alright, everyone not in armor stay inside, Weaver prepare the crabs for ambush." Mouse orders. "We'll catch whatever pirate forces they send at us off gua-"
And then the dock across from you erupts into flames.
Figures rise, hundreds of human sized ones interspersed with much larger forms. But most prominent were the horned giants interspersed amongst them.
Unearthly roars fill the air, before like a great wave they pour forward, charging straight at you and your makeshift army.
"Oh god, they were being mass-produced..." You hear Brandish whisper.
Morphology: Svarog
Expendable Pyrokinetic. Vulnerable to electricity.
Svarog are artificial beings, cloned from pyrokinetic Parahuman. Their body has been genetically altered into a monstrous more combat-capable form, its gene structure showing signs of mass production. Physically unstable, it appears to have a very limited lifespan, not helped by the cybernetics in its body. The heavy shield generator, anti-theft nanomachines and sensor suite further compound its health, replacing vital organs. A small life-support system has been placed inside of it, however the life support system seems incapable of supporting the Svarog for an extended period of time, even preventing it from gaining nutrients from consumption. It is unclear whether it was intended to starve first or let its host of terminal health issues finish it off. Severely pushing itself in combat, or by overloading its life support system with electricity may result in an early expiration.
Its appears to have limited control of its pyrokinesis, only capable of surrounding itself in flames or launching them from its body a limited distance. However its flames burn at temperatures capable of instantly liquefying steel. Highly mentally unstable it will attack with a relentless berserker fury, singleminded in its pursuit of the target of its obsession.
Morphology: Dazhbog
Aggressive attack beast that attempts to bash foes or leap towards them to unleash a fiery blast.
The result of Pirate's attempts to create a more stable soldier than the Svarog from Parahuman cloning the Dazhbog is a runaway success. What it lacks in intelligence it makes up with brute strength and very limited pyrokinesis, even if its physical durability is barely twice that of a Militia Pirate. The Dazhbog lack sapience, being little more than savage beasts. However their loyalty to their pirate masters is unquestionable, and the Pirates themselves appear to have a soft-spot for the creatures as its cybernetic augmentations are limited.
Their immunity to high-temperatures and radiation has made them a favorite guard-dog at Pirate facilities operating in extreme environments.
Morphology: Wretch
Bio-engineered slave lifeform. Threat Index Minimal.
Originally deemed a failure with the sheer excess of biological material Pirate Science Team had available a use was quickly found for these creatures. While stronger than an average human these Parahuman clones do possess a high resistance to heat and radiation and some intelligence. As such they've been re-purposed as slaves, working jobs too dangerous for Space Pirates and thus saving a fortune in maintenance costs, even if their combat utility is virtually non-existent.
They've also been considered an excellent emergency ration amongst Pirate troops.
Yeeeeaaaah, think I'm just going to roll for Samus for this fight.
