Samus is flat-out immune to GG's aura; she started out sensing it, blocked it out, and now literally doesn't even notice it anymore.
I was making more a collective statement of Vicky's poor self-control.
That was up for over 30 minutes before you posted.
What we need right now is someone to draw Samus out of the emotional hole she's digging herself into, the same way she always does when she's upset, and GG's the best person by far to do that.
We're clearly seeing two very different pictures from the same body of evidence.

[X] Dauntless, Assault, Battery, Velocity, Miss Militia

Mainly want to have Samus ask how Dauntless and MM are feeling so maybe she feels a little better.

Miss Militia has lost family and friends before so most likely knows how Samus is feeling right now including hating herself for not protecting her friends even when it wasn't her fault.

Just including the link for reference purposes. Frankly I had forgotten that part myself; I need to re-read this Quest at some point.

We're clearly seeing two very different pictures from the same body of evidence.
I think we are, yes. It's possible I'm just projecting; IRL I need super-extroverts like GG around or I can't socialize much at all, especially when stressed.

It helps that the group also has no members who were at the Charlie Foxtrot with the Echoes.

As Mass Gamer said there, it's generally best to(as soon as possible after an incident of any sort, actually) follow-up on it. WHile it's disturbing to see your friends injured, knowing that they're alright sooner will make the whole thing easier to take. Thus talking to the people who got hurt(and got better) is generally the best option. Dwelling on it isn't, admittedly, but...

Again, it feels to me that the personalities of those involved will help the process of moving on.

That's fair, and that's a valid thing to feel. We're all different. Thank you for talking about your perspective.

And hey, thanks for posting.

Poor Samus. I hope she'll be alright.

I think Samus just went through a PTSD induced hangover or the effects of severe dehydration (splitting headache and sensitivity to light).
... people think going to Glory 'I have little control over my aura, less over my mouth, and zero empathy for criminals' Girl is going to help Samus' PTSD?
Double G is liable to call the Chozo evil, and set Samus off that way.
[x] Dauntless, Assault, Battery, Velocity, Miss Militia
This group has self worth issues, a sense of humor, someone who knows how to cope with isolation issues, and someone who knows how to cope with PTSD. If something mental comes up, this seems like a good place to be.
Assault's only self-worth issue right now is that Mouse Protector is funnier and better with kids than he is. :V
Battery might still be in the same Mother Hen mode as she was yesterday if we're lucky.
I'm not so sure Velocity knows how to cope with his isolation issues, but I otherwise agree with you. Not only can Miss Militia cope with PTSD, she can spot it a mile away.

Anybody ready for a group hug?

I was thinking Dauntless for the self-worth issues. Been a while, but I remembered him thinking his power was kinda useless. Effective, but too slow and so on. Probably Fanon then.

Clockblocker will know how to defuse any tension, and Vista & Aegis may have some good PTSD-related advice. Samus already knows them pretty well, right? So they're kinda familiar.
