[X] Wash and then lie down for a bit, it's been a long day.
The trip back to the Hebert's house is uneventful, or atleast no one really talks during the trip. You on the otherhand do have something happen to you. Your stomach is churning, and you feel physically ill. The splitting headache wasn't helping either, you were in enough pain that even you weren't able to see straight. Never had you assumed sunlight would be physically painful... actually wait no, yes you have because you're from a space-faring society and a lot of stars rarely played nice with organic life. But now your internal complaining is all confused!
This headache is just... you want to lie down. To take a bath and then just hide under a blanket until tomorrow. Not talking to anyone.
You feel so nauseous that the car pulling into the driveway nearly makes you throw up, but you keep it down. The last thing you want to do is reveal how you're feeling to the Heberts. But thankfully they all just pile out and make a beeline to the door.
That is, until Mr. Hebert pulls out a cellphone.
"Damnit, I'm needed at work. You two going to be okay on your own?" He asks.
Taylor nods. "Yeah, gonna put on a movie."
And so you were forced to sit and wait for Mr. Hebert to leave, headache mounting. It was so bad you could barely keep your eyes open, even the simplest bit of light was a sharp dagger into your head. You just want to lie down.
"Hey Samus, what movie do you want to watch?" Taylor asks suddenly, she had been shifting through a stack of DVD's.
You shake your head in response and immediately regret it, headache and nausea making the entire act miserable. "Wish too... lie down for a bit. Going to take a bath first."
Taylor blinks. "Uh, sure? Go ahead."
You nod, and slowly make your way upstairs. Grabbing your pajama's you head into the bathroom, closing the door behind you. Unfortunately the Hebert's bathroom has a window so sunlight was pouring in. Wincing as the light made your headache worse you turn on both taps after leaving your Pajama's on the toilet seat. Running your hand through the stream of water you have the wait several moments before the water is at the temperature you want. It seems the Hebert's water heater isn't the best. Stupid water heater why is it making everything miserable?! You should smash it you should... you should...
You just want the water to heat up, and at last it does so. Placing the plug in the primitive tub begins to fill up, and you disrobe. You sit in the tub, bringing your knee's up to your chin and... that's it. You just sit there, waiting for the tub to fill up. When it finally does and the tap is turned off you just continue to sit.
You close your eyes, tune out everything but the water lapping at your skin. Feeling it slowly cool as time passes on and on. When you open your eyes again for a moment you don't understand where you were until your brain catches up to you. You move slightly, try to pull yourself out of the tub when the sharp pain of your headache returns with a vengeance. You throw yourself back, clutching your head and submerging in a splash of water. You scream in frustration, bubbles escaping in a muffled stream until you wrench yourself up before your lungs fill completely.
Annoyed at this headaches persistence you awkwardly step out of the tub and right into the puddle of water your little screaming fit left in the middle of the bathroom floor. Which was also where you had left your clothes.
"Stupid stupid stupid! Of course you had to make a mess!" You mentally berate yourself, smacking yourself in the head repeatedly with the palm of your hand which amazingly did not help your headache. Kicking your bra into the pile of soaking wet clothes you stamp over to the towels hanging off the door and pull them off, throwing them onto the puddle to hopefully soak it up before it damages anything.
Stupid stupid. How are you so stupid? Even though you were going to change into your Pajama's this was absolutely infuriating- A flash of movement catches your eye and you turn towards the bathroom mirror, pausing for a moment when you see what was staring back at you.
A girl looked at you with wide blue eyes. She didn't blink, didn't move a single facial muscle. Her wet blonde hair was plastered to her skin, sticking to her face yet she seemed completely emotionless.
You tilt your head, and this girl does the same. You're very aware of a mole sitting under this girls lips, and your eyes focus on it. The girls eyes twitch as well, staring at something on your chin.
It takes you a second to realize what you were looking at and you feel even stupider for not realizing it's your reflection. Had what happened to Miss Militia, Mouse Protector and Dauntless on top of the bombing unnerved you so much that you had lost any sense of your surroundings?
The child's head tilts the other way in time with yours, short blonde hair plastered to her skull. Her blue eyes contrasting sharply with the red liquid she was soaked in-
You fall to your knee's, clutching your head as another spike of pain lances from just behind your eyes. The nausea becomes overbearing and you retch (luckly nothing comes up), dry heaving as your nails dig into your sides.
You hate this, why are you so stupid to let yourself be affected in this way?
Stupid!
Stup-
++++++ They are rage, brutal, without mercy. But you. You will be worse. Rip and tear, until it is done.
"Hey Huntress?" Weaver asks suddenly, causing you to start.
"Huh wha-?" You eloquently put.
"Uh, we're here?" Weaver says, pointing to the open door of the van. "You okay? You looked like you zoned out there for a minute."
"Sorry, was just thinking."
You follow Weaver out of the Van, into the brightly lit parking lot outside of Armsmaster and Dragons facility. It was a simple affair, a rectangular building with bits of Federation tech crudely stapled onto it. Again it seems that Armsmaster and Dragon had to make do with what's available. Hopefully in time they'll be able to make something resembling Federation Prefabs as this was just hideous.
Of course, it was evening now. After your bath you had thrown yourself under a blanket on the couch until the PRT contacted Mr. Hebert the next day. You and Weaver had been escorted to the PRT HQ, where Weaver had geared up before the two of you were loaded onto a van and brought here. The other's too were around, chatting in small groups. However it seemed Mouse Protector was with Armsmaster and the Director inside, along with a PRT officer. Even New Wave was here, though they seemed to be keeping to themselves. As there wasn't really much to do until Armsmaster let you all into the factory you wonder if you should approach anyone with Taylor?
Which group should you approach? [] Gallant, Shielder, Laserdream, Glory Girl and Panacea.
[] Vista, Browbeat, Clockblocker, Aegis, Kid Win, Triumph
[] Dauntless, Assault, Battery, Velocity, Miss Militia
[] Manpower, Lady Photon, Brandish, Flashbang.
[] Just wait.

Which makes me think: Old Bird and Gray Voice has plans for Samus, but does the ghosts of the warrior Chozo found all over Brockton Bay agree with their vision?
... people think going to Glory 'I have little control over my aura, less over my mouth, and zero empathy for criminals' Girl is going to help Samus' PTSD?
*sigh* Never change SV, never change.

This group has self worth issues, a sense of humor, someone who knows how to cope with isolation issues, and someone who knows how to cope with PTSD. If something mental comes up, this seems like a good place to be.

It does have a chance to not go well, true. However, your vote also has two people in it that were just recently chunked and may cause a flashback. No option is without possible complications.
I remember. Samus could make it a 'dull roar, a background noise you can ignore'. I was making more a collective statement of Vicky's poor self-control.

Well obviously there're potential problems with all of them, a good QM does that with their votes. I'm simply saying that Vicky's mouth works ahead of her brain and will be more likely to cause a flashback than being with people who are good at social, have seen this sort of thing before, and can give Samus emotional support.

Samus is flat-out immune to GG's aura; she started out sensing it, blocked it out, and now literally doesn't even notice it anymore. What we need right now is someone to draw Samus out of the emotional hole she's digging herself into, the same way she always does when she's upset, and GG's the best person by far to do that. It helps that the group also has no members who were at the Charlie Foxtrot with the Echoes.
