[X] Leave Her There

Who knows, maybe she just wanted to skip her exams or something and decided poisoning herself into stasis is the best way to go about it. There's probably a reason for her being there, maybe don't kick the potential anthill?

In anticipation of the next school vote, what do you guys think of these:

Because Thrice Great Sovereign and Devotion working together should make it ridiculously effective:
[] Group Study: Organize group study sessions with your friends. Teach and learn from one another while building friendships.

And because we've neglected him and having a parental figure could be really good for Harry, not to mention useful in an emergency:
[] Father Figure: Tell Sirius you want to do something with him regularly from now on, like at least once a week. Eat a private meal, go for a walk, practice spells, anything he'd like to do, whatever. Anything that's an excuse to talk and share what's going on in your lives. Maybe he could tell you stories about your parents? You don't know much about them. And maybe he might enjoy talk about the non-secret stuff you're working on and learning. It'd be something to get conversation going, anyway. He is an adult wizard, he'll surely have insight, too.

Perfect opportunity to unlock Patronus from him, in our own time.

Also, we need to summon demons to fill-up our quota. We could get Ankh brewing rotluck and brain potions for us or set Ornias on star gazing duty and report to us daily using Ornias' star diary. Honestly, we should get started on using potions already for advancement. I bet Neville does it.

We could also expand the Codex Intervalum into a Hogwarts wide Network with all of our friends. Hermione and Neville might see it as an interesting intellectual challenge. This also would be a basis for establishing our presence beyond the Hufflepuffs. Inner Circle members on seeing sucess could help push it internationally. We could talk to other magical communities and schools.

Brain hair.. Griffindor, pretty.. It's Lavender Brown, isn't it? Or possibly some student from eighty years ago or something. Myrtle? Only instead of being killed because of convenience, she's stuffed away out of sight in a hurry, so presumed dead or missing. Or it's the long lost daughter of Griffindor. Take your pick.

Everyone, if I could get your attention, everyone!

I have a question to ask and would appreciate some participation: What are we going to do during the summer vacation?

Ask previously explained, we are going to be able to cast magic, so I had this idea in my head to try and explore the international wizarding world during the summer and to use this experience to get access to knowledge and magic that would otherwise be out of reach for us (as well as a way to get into adventures and farm Gnosis but shh!).

With that in mind - Do you have any such potential travel destinations in mind? I've been personally considering a few (Iraq, Norway, Israel, Greece, South America, Thailand and a few others), though not all of them may be suitable to our current level of ability and Sirius' presence.

I would like to hear your input on this or if you believe that there are better ways to spend our summers than gallivanting around the world

Ever since we summoned Ornias I wanted to visit the ruins (or hidden away?) of old and use his knowledge to garner knowledge of Ancient magic. Ornias is a mythological demon from time immemorial and it's frankly frustrating how little we have utilized him after the summoning. So my top picks are Temple of Solomon and Tower of Babylon.

Also Birdsie said we could use the inner circle to stand in for us polyjuiced at a friend's while we travel using the portkey network in the basement.

We could also visit Bellatrix and her husband. They're the only family Geist has and he is majorly depressed to the point he got himself killed by Lily Potter. He might be hesitant, but this would be a good intervention for him.

We could also visit Scottish Ruins or Godric's Hallow to see if there's any Chosen one shenanigans happening.

African wizardry is also pretty notable for Astronomy. We could visit there too I guess.

I am sorry to anyone with somnophilia kink, but this vote for some reason is really making me uncomfortable. So I will be taking some time off the quest. Again sorry to everyone but it's just eugh.
I really get into quest so I imagine myself as a mc and this is just uncomfortable.
So again sorry and see you in a week or two hopefully past this part of the story. ✌️

If it helps you could think of it as medically necessary, like CPR.

You should do what you need to do for your own mental health, though. Be well.

[X] Use the Dark Arts Instead

No way this option will win but i find it halarious that harry would put so much effort into avoiding somethin.

Never forget!

[] Challenge Hermione

Takes everything you've learned and throw it back at her, vice versa. Totally not A date.

Just becasue you got yourself one possible waifu, doesn't mean you can skip out on clearing JK's regrets of pairing Hermione with Ron. Besides, it's where the unlimited, untapped font of anime rivalry power through friendship is at!

Well... we are 11 years old. So we would have to go with our tutor. That said, as we are in europe, just try to get to some magically meaningful places:

Venice(Italy)
Rome(Italy)
Paris(France)
Athens(Greece)
Wien(Austria)
Costantinople Bisanthium Istambul(Turkey)

The issue with visiting some places is that we won't be able to get all of the possible value that we otherwise could have had we been at a higher level of knowledge and skill.

For example, rune diving in Babylon (modern-day Iraq) or visiting Israel is that we are not very skilled with the dark arts and thus won't be able to benefit from it as much as we could've had we come a few years later.

Visiting Bellatrix...
Well, that's a maybe.

I do agree that there are plenty of interesting places to visit in the isles themselves, plenty of history for sure, and it could be a very nice and relatively safe trip for an 11-year-old Harry Potter.
The only problem with that is that we are not allowed to do magic, and in the isles there's a higher chance for us to get caught if we do it out in the open.

I think that a good first destination would be Norway (for runes) or maybe some place in Africa like you said, though I wouldn't be opposed to an interesting enough place in Scotland or Ireland or something (Going camping and stuff)

Can you elaborate on these?

Also, Sirius being with us is a factor - though I suspect that in the future we will be able to ditch him.

All of those are safe places for an 11 year old boy, easy to approach as a place for Sirius to bring us to.

Rome and Istambul are the two most important cities of the ancient Roman Empire, famous for oracular magic.

Also, Athens, other than being the cradle of ancient culture, is also realtively near Delphi, where the most famous ancient Oracle was located.

Wien is known for it's ties to Hermetic Magic, as is Paris.

Lastly, Venice is a strange city, the nearest rapresentation to Diagon Alley i've ever seen. With it being prohibited to any motorized road vehicle, and it's labirynthine alleys, something good ought to come out of a travel to it.

Other than that, having Sirius as a guide, he could point us to the most mistically inclined places in europe, outside of britain.

This is very insightful, thank you for sharing.
I do agree that these seem like good choices that are relatively safe to traverse in the summer.

From what you've described I think that I like Greece the most, as it is a nice place to vacation (meaning that it will be easier to convince Sirius to take us there) while also potentially being a very good source for learning.

Istanbul seems also very viable and relatively safe.

Also, all of those are awesome places to go on a vacation.

I should know, I've been in all of them. Except Istambul, wanted to go 2 years ago, and then Covid happened:p

Why do we have to be restricted by Sirius though? Especially if we want to explore potential Dark Arts in our trips. We can just use the Inner Circle portkey network and go off anywhere we want without adults keeping tabs on us. We should take Sirius for the more lighthearted destinations where we want to go legally as Harry Potter. Otherwise we should be polyjuiced as an adult or under illusion or invisible in our trips. And attended by demons like Ankh. This lets us be free to explore with Geist, who has probably made his own trip around the world.

@Nobody134 I'd argue we make the trips right away, the sooner we acquire deep lore the faster we can "hatch". Also we have pretty much unlocked our potential in our Trismegistus focuses - we now need to fill it up to it's brim as much as we can. Discover new frontiers so we can unlock even more powerful synergies. Normally I'd agree on waiting, but with Ornias who was directly present during that timeline we could fill in all the gaps. Also depending on how things progress we might not get opportunities for these trips all that often so we should make them count.

Edit: I second ancient Greece destinations. They might be the closest we can get to Atlantis.

Yeah, for 2 Gnosis it's an absolute bargain. We have a lot to gain here, not just for Harry's personal development but also a potential new ally, a key to whatever this mystery is, and a big boost to our reputation.

[X] Kiss The Girl [2 Gnosis]

...Should I do it? Back to my roots?

Hell yeah I will.

[GEIST]
Potions!
Hexes!
Wands!
Spells!

(A ghastly body of Geist appears in Harry's field of vision.)

[GEIST]
There you see her...
Laying there right on the floor,
She don't got a lot to say
But there's something about her!
And you don't know why
But she died for you to try
You should- kiss the corpse!

(More ghastly apparitions appear around Harry. It's the Hogwarts ghosts, all carrying musical instruments...)

[GEIST]
Yes, you want to
Look at her, you know you do
Possible she wants you too
There is one way to revive her!
It don't take a word
Just a single drop
Go on and- kiss the corpse!

[GHOSTS + GEIST]
Sing with me now
Sha-la-la-la-la-la
My oh my
Look like the boy too cowardly
Ain't gonna- kiss the corpse!

Sha-la-la-la-la-la
Ain't that sad?
Ain't it a shame?
Too bad, he gonna- leave the girl!

[INSTRUMENTAL...]

[GEIST]
Now's your moment
Dwelling in a dark dungeon
Boy, you better do it soon
No time will be better
She don't say a word
And she won't say a word,
Until you- kiss the corpse!

(The ghosts join in, yowling, singing and harmonizing. The Bloody Baron is the bass, Nearly-Headless Nick the tenor. WIsps and spirits, as well as dead house elves are sopranos and altos.)

[ENSAMBLE]
Sha-la-la-la-la-la
Don't be scared
You got the mood prepared
Go on and- kiss the corpse!

Sha-la-la-la-la-la
Don't stop now
Don't try to hide from it now
You should- kiss the corpse

Sha-la-la-la-la-la
Float along
And listen to the song
The song say- kiss the corpse

Sha-la-la-la-la-la
The music play
Do what the music say
You got to- kiss the corpse!

(Everyone disappears, leaving only Geist behind.)

[GEIST]
You've got to kiss the corpse!
Oh, don't you wanna kiss the corpse!
You've gotta kiss the corpse!
Go on and kiss the corpse!
