Also it depends on how human does Molly count due to the extreme metaphysical and physical changes she which has undertaken due to the presence of the infernal exaltation along with the presence of Usun as part of her soul. So Ivy could know or she may not, depends on if Molly fits criteria which the archive has.
Also worth remembering that the Archive sends agents after people who are trying to spread knowledge of the Old Ones.
As far as Im aware, it doesnt try to kill you just for knowing stuff. Especially if you are already pretty dangerous in your own right.

Wait for you to die in what sense of the word? Natural causes? Dying from combat?
 
Yeah those crafting rules fucking suck, i woyld rather pay the xp of the more functional sorcery, probably alchemy as it allows us to awaken people as mages at the highest level, persuambly dreden files mages in this case.

At least the low-level crafts would be easily available without hunting unicorns or whatever, particularly if we can use the Dragon Nest for it.

And there's a lot of neat options at the lower tiers.
We don't really need 5-Dot items, like the riddle that can Awaken the solving person as a Mage, yet.

Opportunity cost.
For that 20XP, we could buy two Ancient Sorcery spells. Like Argent Miracle Binding and Emerald Spirit Binding . Or Calling the Calibration Gate and Invulnerable Skin of Bronze. Or we could buy 3-4 dots of any Sorcery Path.

We'd be able to use them immediately.
And those are more straightforward with fewer hoops than the hobbled Exalted Crafting in Holden's errata.

I think sorcery paths are the way to go, either enchanting or alchemy with blessing for succesful minions.
 
Its just more usable than the other crafting system. And we would be really strong at ut because of our excellencies.
The only difference is the charm is was better 20xp and covers the same stuff as 5dots in both the enchanting and alchemy paths 34xp each. They unlock the same crafting system. The only point in the paths favor is we can teach it but just get VEE and let people wish themselves better instantly.

What do you mean, will sorcery use the same system as the stupid holden crafting system?? Thats really really bad.

I assumed it just used its own system

Combat advantages

-Soak or die (We are grabbing all the Soak Charms that we can for the time being making Molly a Soak Monster outside of "The City Still stands" "Soul-Sieve Transmutation" and another Purchase of Ox Body. It boosts our soak from 4 to 8 and we roll soak at difficulty 5 instead as well as 4 hlvls.)

Social
-Minions no longer suffer Torment while serving us. This costs no Essence and has no time limit, so it does not cap how many minions we can have or for how long we can use it. This is essential for getting those WVampires as our minions and to start fixing the Dragon Nest in a reasonable time.

-Social Charms to dig dirt from our opponents. Capped at 9 on really high skilled opponents but we will get some juicy info on the FBI agents and others who do not throw such high dice. If we get lucky we want score some info on Mab. It also synergizes well with our urge depending on who we use it on and what result we get. Also lets us Vet the WVampires and prevent the truly nasty ones from being under our employ.

-Etiquette 4 which prepares us for Mab and other formal situations. It gives +2 dice by Base and +2 more with Excellency. So +4 dice vs Mab. So next time we roll 16 rather then 12 with a stunt and 7 base and 14 without a stunt.

This fully spends 30xp and makes full use of xp to bring us to Etiquette 4 and fait backed info gathering charm (if we roll well) which prepares us for Mab and for vetting the WVampires, takes all of the soak booster charms reasonably available and gets us a purchase of ox-body, making us more tanky. If/when we get WVampire Minions rolling a full excellency + Ability which combined with the Torment reducer will help us get some minions.

Looks great to me, but I did like the idea of enhancing our Cyber-Devil summons so that they can hack computers rather than just possessing them.
 
Honestly, we took the last turns going utility, lets get some do not die charms and some social charms.

We would have to give up something for the cyber demons and given our next turn is going on a trip with Molly's dad, I question the utility of Cyber-demons.

But that is a personal preference and I rather get Molly some balance in Combat and actually invest in some Social before going utility again.

Good point.

Like I've mentioned previously, all I really care about for the upcoming XP expenditure is to get flight and the survivability Charms. Whatever leftovers get spent on is of much less concern.

That said, the speed/initiative boosting Charm @BronzeTongue has advocated for is also very attractive, especially when combined with flight.

He did not see Molly, the daemonologist coming.
But what to excise for them? It won't be easy to come to an agreement there.
