Saulot didn't he come up with Golconda after his trip to the east. You know the closest thing to Enlightenment that the Kindred are capable of having. To the point where they can both enjoy mortal food and possibly even walk in sunlight if they get far enough on it. But anyway I wasn't talking about actually using the Dharma of the Jade vampires. I very explicitly said I don't know if that's a thing that could even possibly happen I meant enlightened in the way it's been used in most contexts being taught things. She's being enlightened such that she's learning about how the Jade vampires develop I don't know if anything further will come out of that. Whether or not they are wholly separate beings doesn't matter if you read any of the world the darkness books while they all claim they are the source or the greatest or the whatever about the world they all take and learn and steal from each other all the time.
Saulot claimed a lot of things. Without corroboration.
The only thing we know is that he did invent the Salubri after his sojourn in the East.
Lara isnt learning, she's being tested.
Noone is teaching her anything, at least according to her interlude; she was just being required to survive under conditions set by the Jade Court elder in question. That might result in realizations on her part, but it isnt really designed to teach.
1-2) That's a good point. Get him some tutors? You can get very efficient in one-on-one studies. He's a young powerful wizard (something, which Courts don't have) open to be educated and to benefit from said education, I think.
3) As someone in higher education, specifically in physics higher education (nuclear fusion to be very specific), a lot of stuff is either not present on the internet, or very hard to parse. SUTRAs would probably have some advantage, but since the courts aren't post-SIngulatirity, there have to be limitations. You can learn by yourself using textbooks, but it's vastly less efficient that in-person education. Especially in 2006.
1) He has two full-time jobs(Warden and PI) and one part-time one as Molly's sometime wingman; he doesnt have the time.
Not everyone gets to spawn clones like Molly.
Until/unless he evinces any interest, its a waste of time and effort.
And frankly that is intrusive; he's an adult NPC with his own life.
2) Textbooks. Journals and academic papers. People publish regularly; thats how researchers share information.
As for hard to parse, we have a literal world population in the billions, with a larger aggregate research population than Earth, because less of our population is spending their time on survival.
Furthermore, we are broadly decades in advance of Earth technology. Parsing any information really isnt an issue.
Sending individual people to study a university course is frankly a lot less effective than hoovering up open-source information and simply funnelling that back to Sanctuary.
At worst, we send stealthed drones with cyberdevils to sit in on university lectures and conferences and make recordings.
UChicago may not be MIT but its still a Tier 1 University, ranked #12 in the US out of 400+ institutions.
And its essentially next door.
This really isnt an issue.
