Also, @DragonParadox did we get some xp for saving that guy who fell out the window taking a Selfi? Or is our total xp at 14?
You did, that was worth 1 XP, not that grand a deed but worthy of note. Also you got 3 EX from the duel with Michael (1 for marginally winning most of the bouts, one for figuring out something new about the swords and 1 for disarming him). If you get another 2 points from this action you might be able to grab one of those 20XP charms like VED or the crafting one

Most Fluid Blessing of the Water Dragon
This spell can only be cast within the Spirit World.
The sorcerer ventures to a shoreline, or the open sea,
or some other place of mighty waters, speaks the
long-forgotten name of the elemental dragon-ruler of
the seven seas, and calls the power of elemental water
to inhabit a mundane item.
System: Spend 5 Essence and make an extended
Intelligence + Occult roll against difficulty 8. Once the
player accumulates ten successes, the item is enchanted.
This spell enchants a perfectly mundane, non-magical
item with the power to transform according to its
owner's will. The object retains its material qualities,
mass and weight, but it can adjust its form to the bearer's
will. Clothing can re-tailor itself to specific needs.
A weapon can become an unobtrusive item of similar
size until needed later. Armor can fold itself up into
a compact cube for easy carriage. An item damaged
while it has been shapeshifted will retain that damage
in any form, until the item is repaired. Triggering this
transformation costs 1 Willpower.
You can just shapeshift your gun away, though you could not do this to a gun you put a demon into as it is not perfectly mundane.

OK, so definitely not mundane, and her father is not human:
1) Wording, both hers and her father's. "One turn of seasons", "no humans make their own pottery now", etc.
2) Languages. Sicilian and French. Old Welsh says "White Council". At least Latin isn't her native language, because then "denarian" would have been my first guess, and we would have been obligated to shank her (father).
3) Her father staying in Chicago to "close the deal". This is worrying me. Because this phrasing can well be applied to making sure Dresden becomes a denarian.
I think at this point we have enough to justify using the crown.

EXP is good, but I still favour increasing Essence to 2 as ...essential.
I am fine with buying only Essence for now and keeping the rest for VDE though.

Have to disagree. With 18 xp, even if we do not get more, we have a ton of things to buy.
8xp - Essence 2
6xp - Viridian Legend Exoskeleton - 4 Soak for a scene and can be increased to 6 if in shintai.
4xp - Charred Sinner Renewal - Health and Essence recovery charm. We can literally full heal and replenish essence in a tub of bleach in a couple of hours.
All that would be left after this is Ox body and Scar writ saga shield and our melee and ranged soak would be covered.

I don't want to get VED so early.
It gives us a lot more option and makes us extremly valuable, without making us better at personal or indirect self-defence and keeping our relative independance.
It's Charm I want to put in the "later" category, next to most 4-5 Dot charms and Ancient Sorcery.

I agree with this, I was just saying my absolute priority was Essence 2, so the only decision I absolute cannot agree with is not taking it.
As for the update...
Old family, probably long lived I'd instinctively say.
May have unconsciously learned to say human instead of people so some separation.
Lots of languages, and a variety too.

First thought was White Court or some emotion eater, as against a machine there is no competition to feel. Unfulfilling, empty calory comparison.

Reminded me that Palermo specifically was a site of White Council vs Red Court battle...
Could be Wizard lineage I guess, but more likely some sort of vampire scion imo.

12 ft or so, though keep in mind you can make the form more long than tall if you want to fit through most doors.

Since DP said that Shintai attributes count as natural, but ONLY Shintai ones and not any other Charm, I can see Demon Emperor being kind of good even if I prefer Devil-Tyrant 100%
Boosted STR means that we should put out as many attacks as possible instead of one with a high dicepool, as treshold successes would do much less than just rolling STR+2 more times, as Str would be way higher.
GSNF and Viridian Legend also both run off STR, so GSNF would do 8 HL and Viridian add 8 Soak in Shintai, and we could raise our native STR by 1 to improve it more.
Unbound Eschaton adds 3 more, so it would be good for soak, I guess.
I still prefer Devil-Tyrant, but I want to illustrate that Shintai native attribute boosts are good.

The Problem with Demon Emperor is the Size.
