A Path Revealed
28th of January 2007 A.D.
"Cover me!" you call, marking a circle with the toe of your boot.
In your mind's eye you see a city, not the one brass domed under a sun without shadow, a city of light under banners bright a city ringed in adamant Elsewhere set. If you could but see it clearly you would weep, but it is not the city you seek, not this day, through space and time... oh so much time, you bow to the four directions, each of them with a mote of essence anointing, awakening. Thus you call the time Uncounted...
Hounds approach, each eight feet at the shoulder, dreadfully wearing the faces of men distended into gruesome bio mechanical masks, running ever fields of alien gold. Lydia casts another bolt of silver, but it barely tears though the face-wolf's tattered skin vestment.

Ancient and crumbling the arch seems, with the turn of ages all things wear —
almost all— but upon the crumbling lintel one can still glimpse the gleam adamant and knock on Heaven's walls.
"Some of that light would be welcome..." Lydia calls waving another spear of deadly essence into her hand, but Tiffany is still, as though she had become a statue in truth at the sight of the gate.
Joe is the first one though sensing freedom, then the technician, more in terror of the approaching hounds carried by a tide of shifting protean iron. With an almost panicked snap of her wings Tiffany comes to and hurls herself though the gate until only you and Lydia remain, the last to leave Hell and step into the world of mortals again.... amid screams not of terror yet but
revelation.
Tiffany Regains 3 Faith -> Now at 3/3
The other side is a the wreck of a city still living, the skeletons of concrete buildings standing mute witness to people trying to build shelter from whatever comes to mind, human ingenuity turned to desperation: plywood, plastic, cloth, cardboard. It's not that you hadn't seen this all before, but it had always been out of the way, in parks at night and under overpasses. This is a settlement of detritus.
People are throwing themselves down on their faces in awe and dread, they are screaming, chanting praying.
Of course they are praying Molly, you brought an angel here, wings and all, not to mention your own brass self...Not ten feet from the foot of the Gate a mother with a little girl on her back is standing shock-still while the child wails, the sharpest highest note in the din, a little to the left of her a man had crashed his bicycle into the exposed foundation of some kind of new construction. There are workers here, you realize, they just don't have the uniform you had come to associate with construction workers. Thank God no one had fallen off of the scaffolding
"Where are we!" Lydia shouts as the first of the hounds charges the gates.
It's Nergui, still mounted and likely least noticed of all of your company who answers: "Dacca, Bengal!"
Next to India, you are pretty sure that is next to India. That is as far as the thought gets before you have to defend yourself from cybernetic horrors again.
What do you do?
[] Dismiss Shintai and Apocalyptic Form both so that people can have a chance to run, though it will make the fight harder
[] Fight as you are, you can deal with secrecy later, the cat isn't going to be easy to shove back in the bag regardless
[] Some of you try to get the people to run while others fight at the gate until it closes

OOC: For anyone wondering this is the location of a soon-to-be-opened sweatshop and you showed up here rather than in one of the more established such areas since you ported out of a part of the Wicked City that was itself relatively new. Of greater concern are the about two hundred mortals undergoing full on Demon the Fallen style Revelation.
