Green Flame Rising (Exalted vs Dresden Files)

To be fair, this dude was planning to infiltrate a temple of Ra and clearly wasn't gonna do it covertly after he burst out of the cow. His backer probably knew that the chances of his demise were high, to say the least, and prepared accordingly.

All I'm saying is this clearly isn't an example of his backer getting surprised and still pulling out 15 dice. This was probably his limit, not his starting hand.

i guess but it just basically makes the primordial loss a skill issue
More so that spirit-killing charms were specifically designed to kill the souls of the primordials, while the nihilist blasphemies of the neverborn have a different enough metaphysical aspect to them that they can skirt around the usual limitations. The Deathlords could, for example, resurrect themselves.

Wait, you should check the eating rolls. We dont loose succeses from nat 1 in occult and he only has 3 succeses because the double ten does not count

@DragonParadox ? This appears to be correct. We either tied (if you count 10+10+5 as a triple success), or he lost by one success. Unless they also were using favored ability where 1s didn't subtract.

Yep, you are correct, did not notice that double 10 on him there (he would have won a tie since he had prior claim on the soul.)

Damn that did more damage than anyone could have expected. Ox body was not a waste. We don't carry anything that would allow us to heal that though so we need to retreat to the Five Courts after this.

Whenever the universe dares to mar the Infernal's immaculate and ideal self, she may exert her will to reset herself to her default state of perfection.
System: Whenever the character is the subject of any supernatural power that seeks to transform, infect, taint, transport, or control her body or spirit, she may reflexively spend 1 Essence or 1 Willpower and roll Willpower against difficulty 7. Success undoes the hostile magic before it can finish affecting the Infernal, protecting her completely, and immunizes her against repeated attempts to exert the same sort of influence for the rest of the scene. Alternately, the Infernal can spend 1 Essence to radically accelerate her healing for 24 hours. So long as she takes no strenuous activity, the Infernal heals all bashing damage or one level of lethal damage per 15 minutes of rest. An hour of rest mends one level of aggravated damage

EIPP heals Agg. It's not fast, but it works. Didn't we have a ruling that stacking it with CSR halved the recovery time for lethal as well? Since it mechanically works by sacrificing the lesser healing for the greater would running both at once give us faster Agg healing as well?

Shintai time it is, I guess, when we fight. Just to be sure - no healers good enough in our courts to help at all?
Don't forget about Ego-Infused Pattern Primacy

What about Lash using Lore of Flesh to heal?
Explicitly doesn't heal agg. (that's Lore of Flesh 4).

You could try looking for one, but healing agg is hard and Molly's biology is... novel to say the least.
We should try, I think. Also maybe get some backup. And in a month or two spend some time being studied by our medicae - it would help them advance medical science and thaumaturgy by a lot, I think.

So, EIPP + bleach bath it is, for the next several hours, after we repair whatever this is.

Actually, we should have a -1 Wound Penalty to everything we do, including the soul-claiming.

Does that matter for the result?

Since not all of Molly's extra heslth-levels were Bruised.

If she took too much more we would be at a minus one

Though the Infernal may be battered and broken, she will not fall, nor give her foes the satisfaction of experiencing pain.

System: The Infernal reduces all wound penalties by one, her movement penalties do not degrade any further when Crippled or Incapacitated, and she does not fall unconscious when her Incapacitated health box is filled with bashing damage. This Charm's effects are permanent.
