But this isn't Molly, the future demonic Empress of Million Souls with several CoD as subordinates and who feeds on conceptual corruption, already?

After successfully striking a target and inflicting damage with an attack, the player may reflexively spend 1 Essence to inflict (highest of Strength, Charisma, or Intelligence) levels of automatic aggravated damage.
We also used it on Holt, it was what drove her to burn her perfect defense. We used it a grand total of 3 times. 1 against the Fetch and once against the Outsider then against the Greater Akuma.
It is a dead charm and we wasted 1 Essence to do basically nothing. We also used it on Holt, it was what drove her to burn her perfect defense.
It's been an element of every boss fight, and a key element of killing of first two noteworthy opponents.
That in itself is a very unlikely step.Say Bob has 15 soak. Molly attacks and rolls and does, say, 5 agg damage. Bob soaks agg, so he then rolls his entire 15 soak and gets 4 sux, meaning Molly does 1 dmg.
The damage boost does do something, it's just not as effective right now. Even that nerf is temporary already. It is a dead charm and we wasted 1 Essence to do basically nothing.
It depends far too much on the dice and 4 agg damage is soakable by most boss we fight.
It literally makes us spend 1 Essence to do damage that our opponent soaks for free.
We have yet to hit E3 despite being on Act 6.
Essence cannot be purchased. It was household. You need to spend a certain level of xp to raise Essence.I mean, if we prioritized buying a higher essence level, we could get there fairly easily. It just hasn't been a priority compared to shoring up our weak points.
Not exactly house rule, more a rule update.Essence cannot be purchased. It was household. You need to spend a certain level of xp to raise Essence.
@DragonParadox how would car crafting be handled? What are we going to be rolling? Craft only? Or Technology for design (with Cyberdevil assistance) and Craft for, well, crafting?I want to run some calcs.
It is literally temporary; there's a specific upgrade point, and essence levels have specific exp totals associated with them.We have yet to hit E3 despite being on Act 6.
So do not expect it to be "temporary".
Ok, thanks. I guess we just substitute titanium for steel in a lot of places? Because, well, devising a car engine is going to be interesting.Just craft, technology is what you roll for things more complex than a car.
