Eh more likely she'd use us as we are fairly objectively not gonna be a threat to reality. Also she hasn't used linguistic drift in canon why the hell would she use it here. She's not gonna think us a threat to reality unless we do threat to reality things.

Well they are creatures of darkness so even with our complete lack of animal ken we should still be able to get similar results as the best of animal trainers. Still dogs likely are a better idea from a control perspective with their pack dynamic and how they will instinctively recognize us as the top of the pack.

also dogs have the narrative weight of being humanity's companions older than before we had farming. They are our hunting partners and deserve to be relevant in this brave new age.

Not really how dogs work but it's an rpg so yeah. Not sure id want to limit us to a certain species. But, if it works it works.
 
Though without an actual animal trainer I'm not sure we can get them to not attack people we are friendly with. They'll love us and maybe a few others at least.

Are we sure mouse isn't the evil brother here? Also you sure mouse wouldn't be uncomfortable taking care of literal demon dogs?

Also also temple dogs are more powerful the better the home and threshold and stuff they live in. The idea of giving mouse a day job is pretty hilarious though.
 
Wonder how powerful mouse would be if we made him the defacto guard dog of like the head temple for us in our hell or something. The threshold if our hell has them which good chance a they don't would be giant. It'd probably also corrupt him and he's not our dog. But, it's fun to think about.

I listed the thought process (well, a thought process) that she could use.
Threat to her = threat to continued protection of reality = threat to reality.
It probably doesn't have to make more than superficial sense for it to work as a logical train for her to use.
Threat to her: self-explanatory, given current discussions.
Threat to the continued protection of reality: Her current 2IC is Nfected, and we OoC know that Maeve is too, though I don't know if Mab knows.
Threat to reality: What do you think would happen if (Nfected) Maeve became the new Queen of Winter? Nothing good, that's for sure.
