Hey @Aleph, I was wondering if you that had the write up for that Moon Silver Spear that your PC has, the one that is a blatant nod to Kyoko from PMMM? I love the imagery of it.

Pick your weapon from the RP perspective. I'm just saying pick them based on what they are good for more than how it sounds in the character description. Thrown is good for silent kills it has charms for that so is also good for hunting. If you needed to defend yourself from hostile Lunars regularly then melee might be the better choice. Bows are good as long as the targets aren't too heavily armoured. Skills are cheap so I was thinking more in terms of any artifact and charm selection. An exalt can probably hunt just fine using only skill and a mundane weapon.

That's true enough- and in reality, she's likely to have a high skill in Archery and a slightly lesser skill in Melee.

Hostile Lunars weren't really a consideration growing up, though. I'd be planning to RP her with a... perspective on things that's rather off by most people's standards, although I'm not entirely sure how exactly just yet.

I'm also not sure if she's the Lunar's biological or adopted daughter (yes, I know Scroll of Heroes says that Half-Castes only exalt by their parent's Exalted type, but I'm cheerfully ignoring that). I'd need to look up whether Lunar Half-Castes look any different than baseline human by default...

EDIT: 'More likely to develop animal-like mutations'. So, having a wolfgirl Solar isn't actually outside the bounds of possibility, then. :V

True, that's part of why I'm running my own game, even if I'm scrub tier, if I keep scrubbing, maybe I'll grow superpowers and learn to kung fu fight!
 
That pic on her character profile is pretty cool. Is it a commission/request?

Also, you're inspiring me on that somewhat Asura-inspired Slayer I was planning. :p

...I'm actually tempted to commission something from you now, Shyft. *looks at characters I'm intending to play* Perhaps several somethings. /owmywallet

But yes. Not exclusively Asura-inspired, but... well, let's just say that if I ever got this character into a game, the vast majority of her troubles would likely come from an utter refusal to back down. It's always fun when a character has something like that. :D

EDIT: And from trawling Behind The Name, I'm calling her Keahi. :p

Hmm... Okay, this isn't exactly a gaming problem, but its related to Exalted anyway.

Basically, my fic is starting to progressing nicely, but I've hit a bit of snag that i'm hoping you guys could help with. Basically I can't seem to think of a By Rage Recast form that would suit Askua. So if you guys have any ideas, I'd apericate it very much.
 
My immediate suggestion would be 'Asura's wraaaaath references', but that's my answer to everything Slayer-related, so you may want to take a second opinion here. :V
