Alright, Sakura is ranked 10 while Kairi is ranked 12. Now unless you think Kairi is below Sakura in the physical aspects of ninja life, then this really doesn't make sense. Sakura is impressive because while she isn't the best in physical subjects, her grades in other subjects allow her to hold onto her position at rank 10. Unless you think Kairi is similarly bad at the physical aspects of ninja life like Sakura is, then the argument that they are similar doesn't really hold water. Kairi could be average at the physical subjects and the mental aspects of ninja life and that could be the reason she takes 12 place, versus Sakura being below average at the physical subjects and above average at the mental aspects.

Kaira has skills as an editor, and that's what we really need to focus our shit

Gotta think of this as a ninja academy though. It might be about showing research skill and presenting a convincing argument, like that research paper on anime tiddies.

Also, with the WSE being such a confusion period, as long we we ground said bullshit theory on a measure evidence and sound convincing they can't really prove Dai wrong.
There are time and place for being little cheater (like battle or diplomacy mission) extra credit history a asigment is not it since the point is you know learn history.
I really hate the excessive Nin Nin cheating thing in naruto fiction. Only thing I think when I see it is that guy/girl is probably not going to be invited again. All it does is strain trust if done too much. (Ans oh boy is it done too much)

@Vesvius Would it have to be a presentation? Maybe even get permission for a group-effort?

I mean, a well-written (Kairi), comprehensive and concise text-book would be even more impressive.

history of the entire world, i guess in book form.
Daisuke would reject group work. He did this because he's after RotY and he has no slack after choosing to drop the other four tasks. It could be a paper, however, but Dai is planning on a presentation to make it a bit more showy, and thus stick in people's minds.

Rebuttal: I would argue that we don't need an editor, we need a researcher. Someone who can help us got through the dusty tomes and fine the stuff we are looking for. That has usually been Sakura's domain. Also, I would say that Sakura's competitive nature would help us here. Ino just went up in class rankings because of our help. If we can help her in a subject in exchange for her helping us here I think she will do it. Ino isn't the only competitive one of the two.

BIG BRAIN BOYS GIRLS

Might be some trouble here due to the ongoing feud, but then again this is also another chance to attack it 1v1 with Sakura. We're already working on Ino but our chances to tap Sakura have been visibly few.

Good points were made about project scale.

[X] Kiba's right. You need to narrow your search. Instead of just researching the era, you'll focus on one specific thing.
-[X] The end of an era; important figures, before and after changes and so on. Mix in some Konoha-propaganda

This isn't about cheating, just having fun. To make this theoretical theory convincing he's going to have to draw on solid points of actual history, but spun it to fit whatever story he has in mind.

From an education perspective it doesn't really matter what he's says as long as he's doing the work.

Control: Superhuman (1310/2000) (Reward XP Invested: 360)
-Chakra Adhesion: Adept (500/800)

Also, don't know if everyone saw this. Looks like this is what tree walking got us. Not bad. Water walking would probably be under the same skill, but may be further along the chain. I think this is probably good enough for now. As long as we have water walking before the Chunin exams I think we will be fine.

Alright, Sakura is ranked 10 while Kairi is ranked 12.
Check yo facts son.

Sakura is number 11 as of this update.

And my point was Kairi effectively participated in 3 clubs to Sakura's 1 while still keeping up her grades to a comparable level. Shows that she can handle alot of work.

I don't care if she's not the statistically perfect pick for this, and funny thing is Sakura isnt either thanks to the blow up between her and Ino.

Kairi has shown a solid interest in drawing Daisuke, something we can offer her for her help. Sakura is keeping us away because we have always been Ino's friend first.

So I'm picking someone smart, clearly able to handle the work, and who could be persuaded to help.

-[X] Late Warring States Era: The period right before village formation.

It's a thousand year period, if my experiences as a history major has taught me anything it's that the answer is always to focus

Sakura is also our friend. We shouldn't let the friendship end because of some petty childish spat.

We are more than smart enough to deal with this without risking anything with Ino.

If having someone help us makes Ino want to break her friendship off with us then, as she put it:
. "No!" she declares with the stubbornness that only the very young can muster. "I won't! If they want to leave because they don't want to be friends with my friend because of stupid reasons then they're not real friends!"

If this jeopardizes our friendship with her, then she's being just as bad as the people we called our enemies.

I'm not going to keep ourselves from offering Sakura an olive branch and getting the assistance of one of the smartest people in the class all because someone else we like might be mad about it for reasons she herself stated were stupid before.

Getting Sakura to help us is not a good idea, our relationship is on edge and we have currently chosen our side I think. I don't want to make Ino angry with us, we need her as a training partner right now.

Also, however smart Sakura is, she will not be able to condense the amount of information available into a good and coherent presentation. We need to narrow this presentation down. I think we will do a good job on our own with our superhuman intelligence. We shouldn't worry about it. If we chose a general overview we will definitely loose to Sakura anyway.

@Vesvius: How much Ryo can Daisuke make selling Bunshin Scrolls? Sure it'd be nearly useless for shinobi other than not having to waste their own time writing and/or teaching it themselves. Yet surely Daisuke could find some interested civilians, maybe even get more people interested in (practical) applications of Chakra.

Unfortunately, whilst Sakura may be superior intellectually, though I feel that is also debateable , it would very likely upset the tenuous relationship between Sakura and Ino. We have been divided as a group, and Sakura is also directly competing to attempt to one up Ino, so whilst I normally would rely on her, now may not be the best time. A neutral party, ala Kaira, would be safer in my opinion, and that whilst Sakura is motivated, Kaira has also proven themselves highly motivated whilst able to juggle numerous things, lessening the likelihood of her not putting in her 'full effort' by being distracted by their own rankings.

Okay. Not sure which way to vote. Would welcome advice, if anyone fancies presenting their opinion. Here's what I've worked out so far:

First up, Kairi:
Daisuke would reject group work. He did this because he's after RotY and he has no slack after choosing to drop the other four tasks. It could be a paper, however, but Dai is planning on a presentation to make it a bit more showy, and thus stick in people's minds.
And Kairi writes and edits for theatre club. She is GOOD at showy and dramatic. If we bring Kairi on board, she can help us fashion something very distinctive. HOWEVER. She's not necessarily the most gifted researcher- we have no evidence either way. She MIGHT be helpful, even just as another pair of hands, but the likelihood is she won't just solve the problem immediately and hand us rookie of the year.

So, Sakura. On the one hand, research genius. Sakura is academic queen of our generation, and we all know this. If we bring her on, she'll absolutely dominate the research and help us put together something clever, insightful and clear. The cons, however, worry me. For one, Ino. Right now, her and Sakura are Not Talking. With CAPITALISATION. Asking her help might piss Ino off something rotten, and I don't want that, to be honest. I like Ino more than Sakura. On top of that, we're not that tight with Sakura. Look at the relationships in the main menu- she's holding us at arm's length. She's also going for Rookie of the Year herself. Helping us with out history project actively hurts her chances. We are not close enough to get around that.

So I'm kinda stumped. Thoughts?
