Since we have well and truly left the chance to recruit a local abandoned pantheon behind here are some notes I had on them, the wyld market place would have been a three way between the Onyx court becoming essentially navigators for your, tzneetch teaching you sorcery and granting you immense favors to conquer a thousand worlds to rule as overlords, and These guys.
Me posting this means the chance to actual get this relationship with any of these is now gone.
Ancient Race: Bereshit
Noach: The fall of the Bereshit.
Tiamat: the mother of all things beyond the Primordial Waters (Pure Chaos) including the progenitor gods, the Rift (Wyld/Warp) and the Shallows (Material World). Possibly a personification of a primordial life-force or even the primordial ooze from which all life sprung. Possibly a Primordial like being that existed in this universe. Said to have been "slain" and dismembered by a being known as Marduk.
The below are the most powerful (basically an incarna down on their luck level) gods of the Bereshit pantheon. These call themselves the Progenitors under the suggestion that most of what exists that wasn't directly created by Tiamat was made by them. More exist of course either as less worshiped progenitors or the divine progeny of the progenitors. These beings have a core of wyld energy that can be sensed, but so do Jadeborn. They are remarkable stable for Wyld beings so the idea of them being some local variant of spirit or perhaps third circle souls that survived the death of a Primordial named Tiamat is possible.
Bahamut is a being of immense size, called "Unchained." It was said to be tranquil at most times, with cities and temples erected across its broad back, but to rumble with rage when displeased, responding to rebellion or heresy with apocalyptic wrath. These rampages were said to rock the foundations of the world and shake the skies. Bahumut acts as a guardian to all it cares about as everything else is inevitably more fragile than it is. In appearance it takes the form of a massive whale-like fish armored with impenetrable scales.
Temples to Bahumut allow the training of elite Guardians (not just bodyguard but guards able to do things like guard treasure or locations as well), Relics of Bahumut can evoke the aspect of Bahumut to grow warriors to massive scale and destructive power, and Arks of Bahumut can cause earthquakes on massive scales, summon giant Avatars of himself and other examples of Apocalyptic wrath as well as Adamant Circle scale protections of cities, region or when pushed the the utmost, whole planets. His displeasure at rebellion and heresy is well known and can be channeled to aide in acts of Astrology or sorcerous workings meant to find and quash such things. Using his Arks and Relics is easier when the foe is such a Rebel or Heretic.
Dagon, "the Hierarch" also called Dagon the "Arch-heretic," is a hotbed of life and sustenance - but not of ease or security. It is called "the Hierarch," and is said to give birth to countless creatures and serve as a source of "creation" in general. Religious edicts, practices, and rituals were its purview, and it rewarded compliance with full harvests and nourishment. It was the patron of faiths and fertility cults, and could call down rain when pleased or devastating storms when wrathful. It takes the appearance of a vaguely humanoid fish bearing a "beard" of tendrils.
Temples to Dagon allow the training of elite healers and boost the progress of biothaumaturgy that creates new lifeforms, Arks evoking Dagon can aid in harvests or planetary Archgenesis, or call down (or silence) devastating storms. Rituals of Dagon can be used to boost fertility or aide in astrology and workings tied to faith and cults, rewarding them... or punishing them. Dagon allows God-Forging just as Abraxan temples do, although he can manage to make high powered gods slightly more easily as long as they will quickly gain a cult. He may work with Abaxus to forge more powerful divinities than either could on their own although such a god would need to have ties from elements of both Abraxus and Dagon.
Lahamu, called "Watchful" or "The Celestial Eye," is the guide of the innumberable, described as its many ever-watchful eyes, yet itself never came to the light. From reclusive secrecy it monitored all things and declared edicts and directed its people, gifting them with prophecy and insight into the minds of others. Nothing escaped its gaze and those that attempted to deceive it would be dragged screaming towards its gaping maw. As implied Lahamu is hidden from view inside the "substrate" of existence although it has been implied she takes the form of a slug hidden under the "seafloor" with all of her innumerable eyes being eyestalks poking out of this hidden place.
Temples to Lahamu can engage in prophecy and attempt to scry distant locales (or minds) in time and space, specifically you can engage seers that work off principles that would be more familiar to Psykers. Relics and Arks evoking Lahamu allow for hiding of powerful units, small armies, even potentially small cities or star-vessels from prying eyes or can be used to reveal them if such are hidden by other methods. Rituals to Lahamu are simply more concentrated version of prophetic seeking or scrying attempts, (or attempts to conceal something from the same) although most common would be attempting to pierce a potent or veiled mind and gain insight. Large boosts to Astrology when used for divination or concealing purposes.
Nu, the "Elder," also called Naunet or Nun, is said to be the first of Tiamat's offspring, and to have the most profound connection to the Primordial Waters (Pure Chaos). It was the stirrer of the seas and the sky, having inherited their mastery from its creator, and its fluid form could go anywhere and take any shape. Nu was the most distant from the Bereshit and yet was subject to great fear and reverence, for its control shaped the known world. Knowledge of Nu remains in fragmented tales of primordial ooze and original waters from which life emerges - as well as in the terror presented by storms and floods. Nu's appearance is hard to pin down as it likely is either primordial ooze, or microscopic life from when such first formed.
Temples to Nu allow the training of elite units which gain control of their shape as if shapeshifters and a boost in ease of recruiting gene-forged shape shifting warriors. Relics and Arks evoking Nu can be used to reshape the world, especially the waters and tides. Rituals calling upon Nu tend to be used to acts of Genesis, that is the alteration or wholesale creation of lifeforms. Easiest being the creation or "curing" of the simplest of lifeforms, such as disease, as such Temples of Nu allow a major bonus in Astrology or sorcerous workings to create, spread, detect, or inhibit the spread of diseases.
Oceanus, the "Father-of-Seas," is said to have been granted dominion over a greater portion of the Bereshit masses due to its incredible beauty and allure. As a deity of a people, it was said to have created the rivers and lakes that sustained them, all in exchange for irrational fealty and servitude. If denied reverence, it would break the minds of the rebellious, or turn their families upon them in furious storms of zealous violence. Even among the Progenitors, it was a source of horror, for the wrath of Oceanus had faces and names; it would come as a loved one with a culling blade. Oceanus is beautiful and terrible to look upon, whatever your standards of beauty. This usually involves bright colors and brilliant halos.
Temples of Oceanus may train elite diplomats/cult leaders. Relics evoking Oceanus bring his glorious light upon the target's of the evocation making them so beautiful and alluring it transcends limits of species or capacity to appreciate. Arks of Oceanus may manipulate rivers and lakes or can be used to break the minds of targets either into pure madness or in betrayal (ie you can do rituals which make an enemy unit turn on its allies or go crazy and self destruct). Astrology and Workings intended to encourage fealty or servitude and punish rebels gain a major benefit.
Tannin, called "the Unbending" and the "Sinner-Devouring," is hailed as the foremost predator. It was said to stalk the Primordial Waters, unseen but all-seeing, wreathed in gaping jaws and poisonous spines. Those that crossed its path, if found wanting, would be devoured without hesitation or remorse - Tannin's mouth was the gate of Hell. Whole nations of rebels were said to have disappeared between its razored teeth. It is immortalized in the stories of devouring beasts and the images of Hellmouths, as well as mortal race's terror of the predators of the deep blue sea. In appearance all that can be made out is one method of killing and devouring after another, the only other consistency in description is glowing eyes that see through all deceptions.
Temples of Tannin can train elite hunters of corruption, just don't expect them to be gentle if they find it. Relics evoking Tannin can be used to summon a lesser aspect of his being for purposes of sending a "sinner" to "Hell." Arks can summon more powerful creatures or area effect "Cleansing" rituals (cleansing is definitely a euphemism here). Rituals calling on Tannin can be used to prevent deceptions and view corruptions, so astrology and workings intended to pierce deceptions, or find corrupted gain a major benefit... as long as you do not have pleasant intentions for the target when you find them.
"Island-Breaking" Thalassa or "Mighty-Armed" Thalassa, is a being of the deep, suited to the pressure of the seas. Its power and grace were legendary, both raising up landmasses with its strong arms and gracefully sculpting mountain ranges or delicate palaces and temples of coral - or destroying them with singular, devastating blows. It was a being of fluid form but impossible strength, as much appeased as revered. It survives as in legends of treasure guarded by mighty beasts and the mythology of crafted terrain - mountains said to be the bodies of immense beasts felled in bygone days, or collapsed piles marking a captured titan. Thalassa is a divinity of wealth, power and status to all which can appropriately appease him. Thalassa possesses a crab-like exoskeleton and some of his arms are powerful grasping claws but others are as much elemental sea and storm as flesh and can be used to shape the heavens.
Temples to Thalassa can be used to commission elite traders or merchants, evocations praying to Thalassa use mighty sacrifices to create "wealth"(for example the genocide of a sapient race might fuel the wholesale creation of a garden world). Rituals calling upon Thalassa use lesser sacrifices to placate him before journeys or comparable business endeavours, insuring smooth travel and no disruptions. Whether the cargo and journey or business enterprise was worth the sacrifice is another matter (and usually depends upon how favored of Thalassa you are). Relics can grant the user tremendous power and grace, incredible toughness, and enhanced craftsmanship. Arks may be used to raise up or destroy landscape, create cities or manses instantly, or pushed to the extreme can shatter a world.
