Dragon Kings in the 41st Millennia (Exalted/40K Empire)

[X] Death to the Deathless: Exalts managed the impossible feat of killing the unkillable. Not the ability to kill lesser immortals like gods or Dragon Kings, our own elders can manage such a feat if pressed. No, they killed Primordials who are beyond life and death. And we were there. We watched, and we helped. They did it with weapons we helped forged and tactics we helped refine. We cannot replicate the ease with which those graced by the Great Maker's masterpieces and the exerted blessing of the incarna, but with our experience we can, through technique and artifice get closer than we are. Perhaps, with great efforts and sacrifices, we could kill a Primordial on our own.

[X] Exigence, the Divine Flame:

They will help us do everything better, including fight chaos and all the other enemies out there.

Let's try to uplift ourselves to become even more than we are. After all, we have experience with Chosen, and Exigents have similarities.

Also, I think there are CMA that allow killing the unkillable anyway.

Exigence, and so probably getting open ended charmsets not closed ones might be the most potentially powerful option here, given that we have a wide diversity of gods and they can adopt new portfolios if required.

All of these are strong and interesting.

fuck chaos, fuck the ctans, fuck the emperor, fuck evil perpetuals
I share your distaste, but this is one of the least interesting choices and has the least immediate pay offs. Better to trap them in a web of fate or teleport them somewhere else. I doubt this is the only way to permanently deal with Chaos or perpetuals.

It is indeed, pretty much the only immediate pay off is you can have non elders able to kill 'immortals' of which there are none known not aligned with you.

from the list this is the only one i find interesting

teleporting instantly regardless of the distance is a big ''FUCK YOU'' to logistics in a universe were response times is measure in months

chaining chaos,capturing or teleporting

the first two is ''sealed off evil'' wich the eldar, old ones and necron did on their own way
and while chaos will never be able to break off of their own,the nature of a changing universe means that sooner or later something will happen that will unleashe them like:

war on heaven
eldar decadence
DAOT mankind xenocide campaigns while expanding
xeno genocide campaigns against mankind at the same time
the great crusade massive genocides
the wars against the men of iron
the age of strife, the horus heresy
the 10k years of miserable existance of the imperium

and you have the likes of the lost legions, imperial saints, daemon princes (wich are banished on the warp instead of perma killed) and greater daemons

the only option i find that can compete with ''FUCK INMORTALS'' is ''non-warp FTL''

It may be less obvious but Hidden Lore of the Abalindi also does something similar. Less combat teleporting since Its based on the 5 day principle of Cecylene making any journey take five days. Pretty stressful on the ship and navigator so it has longer cooldowns before you can go again and the further you travel the greater risk of something going awry. Still better than warp.

Its still surprising to me, I mostly made the list as a massive thought exercise last night and decided to give you one as a reward for getting you to read it.

I had to do alot of research into obscured topics like the nature of souls and the Time of Glory to materialize the list.

Also I am saying that Dragon Kings keep their souls in their bodies, they would react to warp effect similiar to blanks albeit without the aura effect. So while they won't feel inherently disturbing to normal mortals just being near them they will still bother any level of psyker gift. Basically any one who sees a Dragon King will have a harder time believing they are not just savage beasts than they should, with how hard it is tied pretty close to their power as a psyker. Of course when one goes into the warp/wyld they are bringing their souls with them and its a whole other story. They shine like Eldar or something similar when they are physically in the Warp.

As soon as we use that power once, the whole of the Immaterium will be bent on offing us.

meh the nature of the dragon civ and this list gifts means that pretty much it will end up happening one way or another

better to have a massive gun to the head of the chaos gods than have none

and besides, our skill at killing primordials entities might be usefull for diplomacy with the eldars
''we heard you had a slaneesh problem....''

[X] Secrets of Autochthon: At some point after our loss in the War became inevitable, many of us received a message/vision/dream containing sacred and secret knowledge from the Great Maker. Foremost among these secrets seems to be Path of Enlightenments for Autochthonian elements although they come with warnings of Clarity, Dissonance, and void. There are elaborate dreams which seem to guide one towards creating a Loom of Fate. The effort would be astonishing, and we are not sure what need this realm has for such a thing.

Why destroy when we can use it all for spare parts?

Still surprised no one voted for Planetary Warfare yet. Martial Weather, Volcano Strikes, Earthquake War engines, rains of crystal shurikens. We could make some fun War Engines with that one.

meh,in a space based setting planetary warfare is not that good when compared to options like

>purify the warp and bring the good end to warhammer universe

>kill the chaos gods and free the warp of their influence to eventually heal

>non warp FTL

specially because a fleet with exterminatus can laugh on the face of all the planetary warfare you have

It's tempting, but it sounds like it needs an industry we don't have. That and it effects the sole planet where on, so major changes make me paranoid we'll ruin the world.

Edit: I feel like we might get something similar if we attack daemon worlds.

When you put it like that the big problem with that option is that we are unlikely to get much use of it since the only things that it would be useful against are Daemons and C'Tan. Us meeting either of them are pretty unlikely to meet anytime in the future. Well there is chaos but having a ton of our guys perma killing them seems like it would get a lot of unwanted attention. Not to mention we technically don't need to kill perma kill daemons since just killing them the normal way banishes them back to the warp. Which means that perma killing powers would seem like they would only really be useful once we are outright going to war against Chaos directly. Even then we still have guys that can kill the more unique daemons which are usually the most powerful anyway. That and seems like we can make a martial art directly tailored towards perma killing daemons.

So seems like something that really wouldn't see much use until much later when we have built up a lot more.
