The next day, Taylor arrived after school to find the Shrine-- and only the shrine, not any of the properties nearby-- was buried in almost two feet of snow. She could just barely make out Sunny's black nose and lolling tongue poking out of a snowdrift, next to a hunk of carved ice next to the office that looked suspiciously like a wine rack.

Hmm... I'd like to see how the PRT reacts to realizing "Brushstroke's" Shaker weather manipulator power is more diverse and longer ranged than they'd thought.
It's one thing to call down lightning (on Lung) right in front of you, it's a whole other story to accurately call down a thousand or so cubic feet of snow on a specific target and keep it ice-cold from across the city. It'd need to be even more accurate so if she left the building's roof empty of snow, since that'd require a 'dead zone' inside the 'drop zone' - and Taylor only said there was snow on the ground.
[Assuming the Shrine is 15 long and wide, and the property is 5 feet longer on each side with snow 2 feet high: that makes 2 x 25x5x2 + 2 x 15x5x2 = 800 cubic feet of snow. The surrounding property is almost guaranteed to be larger given the path, the space for tea, etc...]

Huh. Which one is covering his ears, which his eyes, and which his mouth?

I never thought of the 3 boys could possibly be the monkeys.

Haru, the least involved in the story's plots, sees no evil.
Souta, more involved but willfully ignorant of any of ABB activities in order to fund his own interests, hears no evil.
Yuuta, deeply and unwillingly involved in the story but needs to go along anyway due to Oni Lee and Baachan, speaks no evil.

Huh. Which one is covering his ears, which his eyes, and which his mouth?
Eyes - Yuuta, because he gives no fucks.
Mouth - Haru, because the dude's always out of breath.
Ears - Souta, because Baachan's always scolding him.

More importantly:
From my SB Post said:
So, you're gonna laugh a little, but the Monkey Brush Gods are a trio of instrument-playing monkeys, they are known collectively as the Hanagami, and they grant the power of the Greensprout:
- Sakigami, plays a shou, grants Bloom.
- Hasugami, plays a shakuhachi, grants Water Lily.
- Tsutagami, plays a pair of cymbals, grants Vine.

Here you go for further reading, a link to the page: http://okami.wikia.com/wiki/Hanagami[/spoiler]

Well played Unwelcome Storm, well played.

Edit:
Random Lurker's reasoning is much more legit than my attempt at comedy.

Taylor did not comment at all on Yuuta's girlfriend. Was it because she didn't realize who were the boys talking about, or she just didn't care? Also Dinah conveniently 'getting lost' every day just to push her parents to accept Onii-Lee to have dinner with them. And that leaf-jumping.

As it is, can't Taylor ask her dad for advice? I mean, Chessman may be a hero now, but he's involved with a union before so he must have a lot of contacts for things like this.

Maybe when Danny maintained the separation between Chessman and Danny Hebert. As it is, it would look like the Miko of a neutrally accorded area asked the Protectorate for assistance in a business venture.

Leading to the same situation that would develop had she asked the Local 433 and she's trying to avoid.

with red-and-green appliques on the back spelling out 'Local 433.'

This is such childish nose thumbing at the E88, I fucking love it.

Sunshine was giving her a look, a wide-eyed, sideways gaze that meant she was up to something. As Taylor watched, the wolf sloooowwwwly turned her head to peer out the office window, then sloooowwwwly turned back to eye Taylor again.

Aaammy. She's too young. Or do you just want to play in the water?

Well, mostly: the canine had requested an open bar and a buffet, but that just wasn't in the cards for now, much to her disappointment.

Good dog. Or just canny dog, if you asked for a stage or a stripper pole it would have a hard no forever.

Would Amatseru be able to appoint one directly?

Yes. Incidentally, I love Taylor's reasoning and how she's giving respect to her office instead of inadvertent aping things. Ammy picked a good one.

Huh. Which one is covering his ears, which his eyes, and which his mouth?

Metaphorically because they're all minors, but Yuuta is covering his dick, because Emma still crazyish

Ditto.

But I also want to see Ammy and Taylor lounging in the hot spring with the snow all around them like snow monkeys.

Given that, in theory, the Emperor derives his divinity and status from being descended from Amaterasu, she can pull rank.

Also, you have one of the trio of boys putting out his "join." I imagine there's supposed to be a 't' at the end of that.

Wait I don't get how rhe number 433 is snubbing 88?

Also it looks like Ammy has decided to escalate to cold war in her fight to protect her sake

From what I can see 433 can be written as ABB by adding a line joining the end of 3 to make it a B and extending the slanted line in 4 to make an A. But that what I think, I don't know if that is what the author was getting at.

88 is popular in neo-nazi circles because the letter H is the 8th letter of the alphabet, making it a coded abbreviation of "Heil Hitler." 433 is using numbers to spell out ABB in a similar manner, which could be taken as a mocking parody of the Empire's naming scheme.
122 would have been better for directly poking the E88, but it still kind of works. A quick Google search says that Local 433 is an Ironworker union on the west coast.
