Because that act is also still in the future.
See it like this, now is the present, mulling about my words you´ve just read is the past, but wondering what my next post might contain or the guy responding directly below mine post, is future.
Oni Lee has not done anything yet, so any action he will take, is still in the future, a close by future, but still in the future.

Rather wonder why her head is not hurting yet, you know.

No, but the question Dinah asked is 'what's the chance that this man wants to hurt me'.
Which is in the present.

If the question was whether he would, or would want to, hurt her in the immediate future, I'd understand. But Dinah thinks '02.573% chance this man wants to hurt me.', which is an act that specifically occurs in the present.

Whether Oni Lee wants to hurt her is either 100% or 0% right now, because he either already wants to hurt her or doesn't. It's impossible for Oni Lee to have a 2% chance of wanting to hurt her, because the moment has already passed.

Menolly over at SB wrote a nice omake about fluffbutt photobombs. I found it hilarious.
Constellations (Worm/Okami) | Page 569
Best lines in the omake:

Lung will wear a shirt.
By the will of the Okami, he will wear a shirt. Only time will tell.

Brian wants to pet the good dog. Brian wants to pet the Miko too.
Pffftt.:rofl: I mean, a Healthy, Happy Taylor must be quite pretty but while in kimono for special events? And while throwing down Kaiser verbally at that? Grue has no chance.

I like how these random lines fucking up Tattletale.exe like nothing else. It's actually pretty hard parsing through all the fluffs to get to the bottom of the observations, kudos to the writer. That part of Ammy clearly eyeing her and Faultline's (and Fenja and Menja's) boobs are just hilarious though.

Sorry, but I have to call this out here.

No, not really. If all Taylor had done was sat there and be a Good Person at people... not a lot would have changed. People generally don't change their courses from seeing better examples; only rarely, and mostly when we're young and still looking for our own path in the world. But children are only a fraction of the whole world. Most of the world is over 25; kind of Capt. Obvious, I know.

So when you try to change the world, it's not enough to just be a good person. You have to... do all the things other people do to change things. Seek power. Make money. Gain influence. Interact with the world.

And then you start trying to shift things. --- Honestly, even that isn't enough. But it's a start. If there were more ambitious good people - people who wanted power for reasons other than power itself - I think the world would be a better place.

Because right now? Most people who end up rich were trying to get rich. And that's.... about it. Maybe they wanted to live comfortably with their families, but not more than that.

-- I realize I kind of sound like Xykon here. It's kind of an annoying feature of the current literature landscape, in which people try to sound wise by being surprising and end up spouting nonsense like "death is worth keeping around." But at the end of the day... the ability to change the world is the thing we call power.

I would like for the people with power to be good, on average. To be people with vision who help people beyond their own clan, city, nation, or creed. Not chosen essentially at random from everyone in the whole market. Amaterasu does this: her presence has made the whole Bay a better place to live. She shines like the sun.

But it took work. And active intervention, many times. It's not something you can do just by being good in your heart.
Eh youre probably right

But let me ask you

Did you come here for cynical views of how the world works or did you come here for the happy misadventures do a girl and her dog changing a bay for the better through little acts of kindness?

Neither.

I come here because Constellations, like few others before it, takes a dark world head-on in all its cold reality - and fixes it anyway.

Fairytales are more than true, not because they tell you dragons exist, but because they tell you that dragons can be defeated. -- Neil Gaiman (reinterpreting G. K. Chesterton)

And, here and there, how they can be defeated, too.

Tattletale perspective when?
Tattletale: Okay time to get to work, Kaiser's obviously on the ropes. His reaction means that he's likely had a run in with Good Dog-
Tattleshard: SMUG DOGE!
Tattletale: *inhales* ...Okay, don't try and trace that line of thought then. Next we have Lung, he's not even hiding how much he's enjoying this. And the Miko's looking at him when he's looking elsewhere? A cru- no, she probably has a gift given how she's tapping her sash I wonder what it could be.
Tattleshard: DOGGO TREATS! PET TEH DOGE!
Tattletale: *hisses* Fuuuu- No, remain calm. Take a deep breath, I can still work with this. I'll just focus on someone who I know has not and would never try and interact with someone like Good Dog, Coi-
Tattleshard: BAD HOOMAN! MUCH ICK, NO PRAIS, DOING SUCH A FRIGHTEN BORKBORKBORKBORKBORKBO-
Tattletale: *Screams at a pitch only dogs can hear*
Sunny: *Smugness intensifies*

...subtle. Real subtle, Taylor. Now, normally, I'd be saying you didn't even REALIZE the subtle "I'm not with you, I'm against you, but I'm still here in this neutral place so I'm not a capital-H Hero, I HAVE THE RIGHT TO BE HERE." statement you just made, but... given last chapter, I'm not so sure this wasn't 100% deliberate and I'm even MORE impressed by that.
Notice how she took one of the empty chairs, chairs intended for Kaiser's men. Who are in jail because of Taylor (according to Kaiser). That is quite the message.
Lung wants to run a train, got it.
The only difference between a man and a boy is the price of his toys.

...OH. Look at that delicious slapdown. It's just the right amount of condescension combined with an oh-so-subtle threat and dismissal with that crack about Sunny inconveniencing people by existing. (Because, seriously, that WAS a threat. Or at least a flat statement of "We're here. We're not going away. Deal with it.")
You missed the most important insult there! Taylor was lecturing the Nazi on having a problem with someone existing and got him to back down.

Neither.

So you do believe in humanity!

YAY!

Also yeah you totally called me out in me trying to sound wise

But even fools give pearls every so often

List of priorities by Oni Lee
1. ANYthing Shrine related (doG, Taylor Miko, Sidewalk)Food
2. Lung
3. Peasants? UNION
4. ???
5. Stabbings and tool cleaning.

...HOW?! That door can't be much larger than standard, and that's only about 36" wide! HOW does Sunny get big enough to be ridden AND still fit through it WITH Taylor riding sidesaddle and- ARGH BRAIN NEEDS ALCOHOL
Meanwhile, in another part of the city, Vista has a sudden urge to pet a doG.

No, but the question Dinah asked is 'what's the chance that this man wants to hurt me'.
Which is in the present.
An Occam's Razor answer to this would be that Dinah's power simply doesn't care; it gives answers based on looking into the future, so that's what it does, even if her phrasing uses the present tense. DinahShard: "alright, let's see, he hurts her in X futures and doesn't hurt her in Y futures, X/(X+Y) as a percentage is... carry the two... awesome. DINAH! HEY LISTEN!"

'Tis a great omake, but it missed something important:
"GAH!" A sudden shout and a slap drew all eyes to the booth, where the blonde cape had her hands covering her face. Lung saw the Ōkami quickly lean back out of the corner of his eyes. "Stop-- stop photobombing my power!"
Sunny was literally photobombing Tattletale (at least, as literally as possible since she wasn't actually using a camera). Without anyone else noticing, Sunny was popping up behind everyone Tattletale was pointing her power at.

For a fun Friday image in your head, imagine what Sunny's display of pride in Oni-Lee will look like when she learns of this act.

I'm somewhat torn between her being legit matronly proud or derping around by spinning in a circle while barking happily. Decisions, decisions.
