I want everyone to consider the following scenario: Purity, a parahuman source of Light, is putting her child in the care of what is possibly one of the most powerful occult figures in the Japanese pantheon, who right now is starting to feel a trifle twitchy with all these Yokai wandering about.

I'm not saying this is going to be a speedrun for Sunny. I'm saying that whoever makes the attempt had better be damn fucking sure they're all that and a bag of chips because if they're not, there might not be enough left to fill a dust buster. Dogs can be VERY protectiver of children, and are unconcerned about such niceties as 'restraint' especially when tremendously pissed off. What's that, you say? She's not 'dog', but 'doG'? She's wouldn't kill people? To quote Jafar: "you'd be amazed at what you can live through."

Sunny can administer "shock therapy from the sky" making sure that she restarts the heart if it stops beating with another shock.

While she is a god she still isn't a dog, she's a wolf. :V

Also in the games Ammy didn't ever really hold back against even human foes, not sure who said that. Ask Waka, Nagi and Oki who she beat into the ground hard, Nagi especially who despite her knowing who he is she beat him so hard she knocked him completely out.... which was a problem as she needed him to defeat Orochi right at that second. She kinda doesn't think things through.

Ammy pissed off though ohohoho boy. Though uh, her timestop kinda trivializes most foes with human durability.

On an unrelated note:

Hmm...I wonder where the rest of the pantheon is. Ammy could use backup if she's going to be taking on Scion...

Whenever we see an unexpected turn on this thread, it is decreed that someone must write the text "Good doG!" And so, it is written.

In the confusion let's hope Danny as some level of intelligence...

Indeed.
Though I feel the need to point out that 'negative' is still a level (well, depending on what scale you're using, admittedly).

I'm very curious about this, why do you say this? in what form does Danny show he lacks intelligence? if you are about to point out that he hasn't told Taylor that he is Chessman... nope, doesn't count because she hasn't told him about her being Brushstroke. He stumbled on that. is that he continues to avoid telling her? nope, she does the same damn thing. I do find it hilarious that he is pulling a very similar strategy that Taylor did in canon and yet he gets looked down on for it? "but she was a damaged teenager! it makes more sense for to not say anything!" nope, doesn't work that way. guess what? he's a damaged adult wooo! that means he has to be super responsible person and just outright tell his daughter his secret identity because we as adults share all of our secrets to our teenage children...never. also, please note that just being an adult doesn't automatically mean you are super competent in everything and skillful.

What was the big reason canon Taylor originally didn't tell her dad that she was a cape? because she doesn't want to worry him. why does constellations Danny originally not tell Taylor he's a cape? because he doesn't want to worry her. of course both cases got mired down by other reasons and excuses. Do you see the similarities? yet, it's acceptable for Taylor to hide it but lord have mercy on Danny if he does because it shows that he is obviously an idiot somehow...

this is what drives me up the wall, these... "Danny is such a loser/idiot/ect!" comments are beyond frustrating to constantly run into .

I saw something the other day talking about Animorphs and differences in tone and it made me think of this

CONSTELLATION: the goddess of the sun is a total dork who larps as a dog
HUNTER: the things we call gods have no regard for us and we should be glad

CONSTELLATION: what if people solved their problems through positive emotional interaction
HUNTER: what if the living envied the dead
