I think that if Ammy ever encounters Scion, then we will see a human form from her. She isn't aware of how to do it yet, but taking some tips from another higher dimensional entity seems logical.

I think if Scion and Ammy met, it would result in more of a knock down drag out brawl, as she would probably sense his intentions towards her race. You know, the one who thinks of us as a lab experiment to then be obliterated in every instance when we're done being entertaining.

Ammy isn't exactly known for passing her Spot and Sense Motive checks, you know? Just look at the whole Rao situation in the game. Then again, she might have been distracted by Rao's... assets, in that one occasion.

So I was re-reading this wonderful work again because it's always a Fluffy time. Then I ran across this quote. and remembered a specific Faith-getting mechanic from Okami known as Bloom, whose Brush motion is a circle around the object to be restored. I believe Oni Lee got Bloomed here, which is where his memory and personality recovery got kickstarted. (checked further on thread after chapter to see if theory had been posted yet)

Also, I don't know if someone noticed this, but Taylor are using brush made from Ammy fur. He use them for making her first charm.

Good catch-- that is indeed the Bloom technique. Use it on NPCs and they tend to drop everything and immediately pet the dog (it is a good dog). Judging by the burst of color and hearts of affection--even from people who are pissed off at Ammy--it looks like a rather buoyant emotional experience as well.
Given its place in the trio of nature/growth-themed Brush Techniques, I've always tended to think of it as somewhat a counterpart to Rejuvenation, since that fixes objects or places and Bloom invigorates or restores living things.
Sunny sheds like mad. Taylor's got several brushes by now.
