Pfft, that's easy (unlike last time I attempted to find a Saber for Hitomi). She would have Sherlock Holmes as a Saber. You guys are going to be waiting awhile for the next post, so while you wait I want to hear your thoughts on who you think is a good fit for Hitomi, since that's what we're apparently gunning for. If you know your Fate well enough, that's great, you're halfway there! If not, you've got a handy-dandy list of all the Saber servants available for review here.
In competition for the slot of Saber is Cú Chulainn for Bazett and Miyamoto Musashi for Miyuki, so don't pick either of them if you can help it.
All she has to do it roll the Gacha; it's as simple as that. Maybe she gets an SSR, maybe she gets Saber Gilles.I almost want to say Diarmuid of the Love Spot, considering Hitomi's assosication with Love Triangles, but the wiki mentions he's much more difficult to summon as a Saber. I don't think Hitomi would be able to pull it off.
Because you think she'd be a god match for Hitomi, or because it would be funny/the memes?I'd suggest Jeanne D'Arc for the pure trolling value for involved servants as well as Homura's assignment partners.
Well, Sherlock, care to explain your reasoning to the rest of us uneducated Watsons?Pfft, that's easy (unlike last time I attempted to find a Saber for Hitomi). She would have Sherlock Holmes as a Saber.

The Saint Graph's ability is higher compared to Lancer but, on the other hand, the degree of difficulty in summoning is also higher. The summoning person's ability needs to be better by far and, if special conditions aren't completed for the Saint Graphs materialization, it could vanish like mist.
You know nothing of the Nasuverse, do you? Rules are made specifically to be broken. That's not just rhetoric, either- All of the people I've asked about this have said the same thing, that Nasu likes to make up a rule just so he can have it be broken or come up with the singular exception to that rule later on.To quote his Saber page
From my limited understanding, this basically means Saber Diarmund dies instantly if his Master isn't good enough.

I wasn't joking, if you're wondering. Sherlock can be summoned as a Saber, Archer, or Caster when he's not a Ruler.Well, Sherlock, care to explain your reasoning to the rest of us uneducated Watsons?
Hitomi shares a lot of his traits, namely they're both intellectual - not necessarily for the "fame, fortune, or glory"; they're both contemplative yet active, bold and precise (look at the whole 'Hitomi steals away Kyousuke from Sayaka' situation from canon, she thought it out and decided to go for it after weighing the consequences); they both are interested in mysteries, which ties into the intellectual bit (I'm mostly assuming for Hitomi in this case, but from how she's been portrayed in this quest so far I'd assume so). They both are good natured as well, though obviously not saints; they prefer to study and perform their chosen crafts and interests instead.Holmes is famous for his deductive mind and believes in taking cases for the sake of justice and as an intellectual pursuit rather than for fame, fortune or glory.
Contemplative, but at the same time, active. Bold, but at the same time, precise. And also a calm and composed man. Any kind of mystery, crime, and scheme cannot run from Holmes' eyes. Even if it is a fearsome killer, an ancient curse, a monster of the dark night, and even if it is an ultra nationalistic secret association, he will reveal everything. If necessary, he would defeat it. With the sharp blade called the truth. That way of life has already surpassed the boundary of men. It could even be called the personification of "A Wise Man" or a "Revealer".
I think it's just called a wetsuit jacket, unless Mordred decided to wear a regular jacket for whatever reason.Since part of the vote has us going shopping for a swimsuit, I've got a related question that is equally as important. Does anyone know if the surfing jacket Summer Mordred wears in her 3rd Ascension has a specific name?
Wait what? Is that how Homura feels about this?"It's for my friend Hitomi, actually," you reply, taking the tome of translated prose and verse back from Kyouko. "She's a fan of poetry, so I thought I might get her something she probably hasn't read before." Unsaid in your explanation, is the hope that by introducing Hitomi to stories about heroes of old - who, in light of what you've come to learn in this timeline, probably did exist at one point in history - you can coax her towards becoming the master of Saber, rather than giving McRemitz-san or Nagatsuki Miyuki the chance.
[Suggested commentary redacted due to spoilers]Since Elsa Maria is erupting from around the riverside, then it's probably safe to assume that she's connected or drawn to by the leylines to some degree. If Archer and Assassin can't find anything, it's possible that the depictions will only appear when the Witch pops into existence, or maybe they're just missing where to properly look.
Is what how Homura feels about what? We decided, when Caster gave us the names of potential masters of Saber, that it would be better if Hitomi became the master, because unlike Bazett we can completely trust that she won't be working for a third party's interests rather than in the best interests of the city, and because unlike Miyuki Hitomi is of sound mind and already someone we're close to without having to work at folding her into our inner circle.
What are you talking about, everyone knows that Homura will be bringing along her legal guardian, especially since he'll be tutoring a lot of them suring the trip! /sEDIT: RE, the beach party
Obviously, since not everyone in our circle is an orphan, the remaining parents are going to want there to be some chaperones watching over their daughters. Who are we thinking should do that? All the servants, under the guise of guardians or otherwise? Just one or two; and if so, which ones? Some of the living parents, maybe? What are your guy's thoughts on this?
Archer was the obvious choice, but I was asking about others as well. Are we going to try selling Lancer and Berserker as Kirika's parents (since Oriko's parents are high-profile corpses); or maybe invite Sayaka's and/or Kirika's mom along as additional adult supervision? Sayaka's mom did once say that she wanted to marry Archer for his cooking, and Kirika could probably use a male role model in her life that's not her dirtbag divorcee dad or her servant, so maybe we want to give her mom a chance to hit on Archer... You know, ignoring the fact that neither Sayaka's nor Kirika's moms are Archer type, of course. What are you talking about, everyone knows that Homura will be bringing along her legal guardian, especially since he'll be tutoring a lot of them during the trip! /s
Not just sarcastic though, also serious. Archer will be the chaperone and will tutor Homura, Madoka, Sayaka, and Hitomi during the trip; just not what their parents are expecting Archer to tutor them in.
Well, we're inviting SayakaMom and KirikaMom along now. It isn't in question anymore, it shall be done. We need to see the awkwardness and hilarity that ensues from this.Archer was the obvious choice, but I was asking about others as well. The only downside to inviting the single moms is that, at some point, we'd have no choice but to spill the beans to Sayaka's mom with regards to magic. Kirika's mom already knows, and has no social connection to any of the other moms in Mitakihara, but Sayaka's mom knows the Kanames and Shizukis. And then she might talk to the Kanames and Shizukis, and then we're in a heaping helping of trouble.Well, we're inviting SayakaMom and KirikaMom along now. Also if you didn't see my ninja edit, I'm thinking about passing Lancer off as the Mikuni family's servant (be that as a butler or maid, that's up to Oriko and Kirika).
"At some point" is future Homura and co's problem. Probably post-Walpurgisnacht Homura and co's problem. No need to spill the beans on this trip, though. The only downside to inviting the single moms is that, at some point, we'd have no choice but to spill the beans to Sayaka's mom with regards to magic. I meant passing her off as the Mikuni household servant as her primary vocation, and not a superpowered ghost summoned to Murder Death Kill for the Holy Grail.I saw your ninja edit, but I'm confused by it. Lancer already is the Mikuni household servant, just like Archer is Homura's legal guardian. We don't have to 'pass her off' as anything.
