Shipgirls are summoned with their final crew, right? I thought that was the case.

Jersey had fairies of every Captain and Admiral that had served on her when she went into her own CIC. Pennsy and Ari's WWII crews might have some difficulty operating their WWI configurations. Same with Jerseys 1980s crew. And all of her 80s crew certainly wouldn't be passed on.

Every single Iowa-class ship has surviving crew, so the idea that it requires all who have ever served aboard a ship to die before she can come back doesn't seem to make sense with the current evidence.

On the other hand, she finally has free time to catch up on all her anime and manga and Davy Jones has a damn good library down there. :p

Or he has none and our poor weeb bote is gonna be anime starved down there.
But when she's eventually summoned, she'll try to have the most epic anime binge of all time. Which very well could lead to...

Mo, Jerjer: Whiskey, you've been watching anime for 40 hours straight now, shouldn't you take a break?

Whiskey: *Hisses* NO! I'm gonna watch all the Gundam Series ever made in a row! I've Missed TOO much before I came back and I'm gonna catch up dammit!

I'm thorwing in my hat (and $30) that Wisconsin is gonna be like, totally adorkable. Callin it now.

So far, Davy Jones sounds like someone who wouldn't have an anime stash. That and he has a thing for 'The Decisive Battle' doctrine that ruled the waves around WW1 or so. That or the pers on in charge of this war is and they were some naval officer who wrote books on Kantai Kaisen...

And was pissed at how carriers and aircraft ruled battles.

Or he has none and our poor weeb bote is gonna be anime starved down there.

If he doesn't she can just console herself with fond memories of her favorite shows and write fan fiction in her head until she awakens. :lol

As to personalities? I for one have a mental image of Iowa as being friendly but very quiet most of the time, but that's me. I'm an Iowan, and that's sort of the image a lot of people have for us. We're quiet, but some of the nicest, most friendly people you'll ever meet.

We're also cheeky little you-know-whats once you really get to know us. ;)

That and corn. Everybody makes a big deal about the corn.

I love that the middle finger is also trying to come up. Two birds with one stone on that gesture!

.....WTF is going on in the lower half of that picture?

I mean, come on, a black Trump supporter? Pfft.
Morgane of the Mists, one of the heads of the Pacific project, is an ardent Trump supporter. If she were here, I'd give her maybe 10 minutes at best in N&P before either regulars tear her to shreds or Staff get involved.

Nobody is here to talk about Trump. That was not the point of my post. FFS, guess im gonna have to crop that image on my PC later.
