Iowa will still wreck you. Even Nor Cal can pen. Also, google Glorius American sheet metal.

Ha. Take that.

Pfft like any real MAN CAPTAIN I do not consider the Yamato's guns to be her primary armament, that honor belongs to her razor sharp murder prow, a weapon that has claimed everything from destroyer to battleship, and is sharpened on the finest of salty tears.

I FINALLY UNLOCKED IOWA! WOOOOOO!! *cough* in World of Warship's that is.
Welcome to the club brother! Prepare for the pain. It doesn't turn anywhere near as well as the Nor Cal, nor does it back as well. Don't get caught in a narrow area or broadside on to anything. But the guns, god the guns *slasher grin*.

joke posts usually have a little more substance to them.
Here's a joke post everyone will enjoy. BuOrds. :p

Anyway, there's a nice 1/700 scale model, die cast, of Missouri, but Iowa-class models are getting hard to find. Which is odd, when you consider that they served off and on for so long. They're certainly still prevalent in the national consciousness.

OMG

*Facepalms*

I can't believe that actually happened... -_-;;
Well... apparently a Royal Air Force pilot did it a few years ago... and the Blue Angels painted a giant penis on one of the buildings at their winter training camp that was visible from space...
This is why you don't let soldiers get bored. They get up to shenanigans.
So very true. Then you got the more fun and harmless stuff...

Thing is, I'm in the US Navy (as an enlisted sailor), so there's plenty of annoyance on my end that an officer did that.* It doesn't surprise me that officers get bored and do dumb stuff, but I end up being the one who has to hear this from other naval personnel complaining about it.

*Note: This also includes situations like this that end up in news articles where it leads to more training on how NOT to do this...
