Going by Vestal's last order to Crowning, yes they can.Honestly, the big question is can shipgirls get pregnant at all. Everything else follows after that.

One would think a shipgirl baby if born, which is the sure fire proof of yes they can, would have made news. How sure are we that she is correct?

*shrug* OkGiven that Dreadnought asked 'Laska who the father was, not how the fuck she managed to get pregnant... I'm gonna assume the answer is "yes".
Yes, I know. Alaska's a bit of a dork. And wasn't pregnant. But the point is, we have multiple shipgirls (Akashi, Dreadnought, Vestal, Atago) explicitly saying that shipgirls can get pregnant.
It didn't seem like zero consequences to me, at least. It looks like they aren't getting consequences this time, but are both going to have a close eye kept on them, and if they fuck up this bad again they're going to have the hammer dropped on them. Also, Mushi lost her unrestricted twitter privileges.Zero consequence.
Really hoped you'd avoid the common trap, but oh well.
*shrug* Ok
I just hesitate cause we have Wash who sometimes utterly forgets that she is a woman and then we have others who thought building models equals pregnancy.
Yes.I just realized... who would be more protective and vicious?
Gale protecting a pregnant Wash...
Or
Wash protecting a pregnant Gale?
The WWII German Military Industry could be summed up as "Let's take this good idea, and make it all German and complicated until it becomes a bad idea."
Mildly paraphrased from atsf said:The Scharnhorst is a German ship which earned a reputation for being literally everything. She's a battleship, but without battleship guns. And she's not a battlecruiser because she has armor, or a cruiser due to her uncruiserly like guns either. Not to mention her destroyer-like speed.
So what should we call her?

That only works if they don't use their second chance to shape up. More oversight that never makes itself apparent or ends up being needed is no oversight at all. Now if Jersey and Musashi's previously allowed excesses start getting harsh gazes on them, that's something different. It didn't seem like zero consequences to me, at least. It looks like they aren't getting consequences this time, but are both going to have a close eye kept on them, and if they fuck up this bad again they're going to have the hammer dropped on them.
A character element that got introduced just now for this plot arc, despite Musashi's long previous presence in the story. Forgive me if I'm skeptical that it'll be ever mentioned again.
E/N: Some of you may have noticed I have upped this stories rating to "M". I did so after some reflection and deciding that because this story deals with adult themes that it should have it, even if how it handles said adult themes may or may not warrant it. Then again, I'm pretty sure Jersey's language alone would qualify this for a "M" rating if this were a video game so eh...
There's plenty of time for us to learn that Jersey's being watched more closely. You can't pre-emptively assume the consequences won't happen, without giving them time to materialize. That only works if they don't use their second chance to shape up. That's not really true. Musashi's Internet habits have been mentioned extensively pretty much from her first introduction. The tweets are new, but they're a new example of a well-known facet of her character.A character element that got introduced just now for this plot arc, despite Musashi's long previous presence in the story. That was 'Tago. Who, while actually pretty intelligent, is prone to bouts of excessive enthusiasm, where she gets an idea into her head, and then charges ahead at flank, without considering if the original idea was right.
Besides, I think the two repair ships (Vestal and Akashi) would know.
You guys have convinced me.The repair ships should definitely know. They're the shipgirl equivalent of doctors- their magic is specifically directed towards understanding how other shipgirls' magic works.
Feel sad for Jersey. Pretty much Musashi's fault they have Admirals on them. Is not like Jersey said "Lets plaster twitter with Battleship on Battleship love: Chocolate edition!"There's plenty of time for us to learn that Jersey's being watched more closely. Goto's not just telling her she can't post tweets or selfies. He's telling her she can't post anything without prior censorship. He just banned her from Internet activity entirely. And that was her main recreational activity before.
That is true. However, given the plotline was literally ended with 'let's pretend this never happened', some skepticism is not unwarranted. There's plenty of time for us to learn that Jersey's being watched more closely. And speaking of:It's actually somewhat on-topic, given how much WoWs Musashi plays. Well... how much she plays when she's not being temp-banned for demanding CVs be nerfed and Yamatos be buffed.
You don't know what military censorship is. It's not 'YOU CAN POST NOTHING!'. It's putting everything you want to send out in front of a human being for approval before its put up.Goto's not just telling her she can't post tweets or selfies. World of Warships does not fall under this. Musashi only loses her Twitter and Instagram posting ability if Naka rejects every single submission she tries. She can still read and browse the websites.

Nope. Not a word.
That only got brought up as an out-of-story mention of Musahsi's World of Warship habit. You're probably thinking of Naka having a WOWs Twitch Stream.

So I stand by what I said: No Consequence.
Mmm... No, Goto didn't say "No posting anything to Twitter/Instagram without Naka's approval", he said "No posting"
You have already provided the ideal response to your post."Mmm," Goto nodded. "Musashi, you're not to post anything anywhere without getting approval from myself or Naka."
I have gone back through Posts 44 to 50 and have seen no such conversation. I'm going to have to insist on a citation. She can't participate in any discussions on any website, which she noted in the Adak docks as being one of her pastimes, at all, without Naka or him approving every word she posts.
1. Less Desirable?2) There were consequences. They both got shipped out to needed but less desirable postings (Jersey to Sasebo, Musashi to TransPac convoy duty). Musashi got muzzled for Internet postings [read as Naka not allowing the more out there posts she'd previously tolerated]. Jersey. .. Jersey has to face Crowning and potentially losing that relationship in any meaningful way. There's not much Williams can do that's harsher than that. And of course, they're both on tighter leashes in public.
Musashi's intro is Part 35, in direct response to Habakkuk. No such thing is mentioned. Could you quote the passage you are referring to?1) Musashi was always on the internet. It was her diversion when hidden away for resource saving. See intro pre-Habakkuk.
