Yeah. We've got the Orca as close air support and maritime strike, the Firehawk as a multirole fighter, and the Apollo as an air supremacy fighter.

You will note that virtually every one of the popular vote plans invests 2-3 dice in Yellow Zone Water Purification this turn. So this is not a good knock-down argument against central economic planning in the Yellow Zones.

Among other things, Yellow Zone agriculture is inherently going to be unprofitable compared to Blue Zone agriculture; private corporations probably wouldn't bother. If our economy were mostly private and decentralized, the odds are that conditions in the GDI-held parts of the Yellow Zones would be significantly worse, because the only really profitable enterprises that could sustain themselves there would be sweatshops using manual labor and minimal tooling- an option we had once upon a time but ignored.

Great. Well Done. Hats off to us. About bloody time. The fact we're doing it 'now' doesn't take away from the fact it's been left sitting there for a long time.

As for Yellow zone agriculture being unprofitable. :jackiechan: I thought the whole point behind denying grants was to prevent that kind of "profit seeking at all costs" kind of behaviour from corporations. It doesn't help if we then engage in the same. The point behind having more water and agriculture in the yellow zones isn't to profit (though that would be nice) But to give our yellow zones water security, so there's backups in case of disasters and so we can increase our buffer as water and food needs will likely increase as we take in more yellow zoners. It's about making the yellow zones more self sufficient so they're not wholly reliant upon the blue zones constantly exporting food and resources to prop them up. Making the yellow zones better able to take care of their own needs means it benefits them directly, it means our blue zoners can feel less like they're constantly paying for yellow zoners share. And militarily it helps shorten and secure our supply lines so it's harder for Nod to cut off supplies of food and other convoys if food can be produced locally in yellow zones.

And lastly. Even if yellow zone agriculture is 'unprofitable' Agriculture is exactly the kind of vital resource that governments should subsidise to ensure food security.

565 out of 615 used. All dice allocated.

Aiming to complete rail links and tidal power plants, then a couple of dice to keep mecca chugging along and returning to chicago. Finishing off the fusion plants, once dice into north boston and opening up tokyo to try and get that moving. In Light industry finishing off superconductors and myonmers, beginning personal robotics and handing out light industry grants. Agriculture. All in on yellow zone purification in anticipation of greater demand soon. Also hopefully clearing up the tib mess nod left behind in the area we've got claimed. Orbital = all in on lunar harvesting for resources there. Services finishing off healthcare and combining that with animal programs to get that started.

Military= 1 dice each into the marv hub and the supermarvs in rz-7. I.E north america to secure our harvesting there and slap Giddyboy. Slamming Orca's to get air cover back out. Punching a bunch of dice into the predators to get our next gen mainline tank. And finishing off by dumping all dice into reviewing the bureaucracy.
