SADN was always going to need more dice next turn.

Other things did go very well though! Chicago is done, we got the Fusion Plant up and running, the next phase of alloys is done, Spider Cotton, Tar Barries... lots of good in there.

Yeah, I'm disappointed in SADN and wondering if the whole Tib department just had a massive party and was hungover the entire time but other than that this turn went pretty well.
Amazing results on the Fusion plants and we got a nat100 on spider cotton that will be interesting

SADN is definitely gonna need more dice next turn
I was thinking seven dice, now I'm thinking 7+AA or 8 or 8+AA. Unpleasant surprise but we'll manage. We still get Phase 1 done and the sites covering the Mecca-Medina-Jeddah area are under construction; it's just that rolling 244+155=399 Progress only gives us 149/295 Progress, halfway to Phase 2. We will absolutely finish Phase 2 next turn, but finishing Phase 3 is now quite challenging, though very far from impossible; at 500 or so Progress to go to the end of Phase 3, eight Military dice should get the job done if we're willing to go whole hog.

(To be clear, the sites are under construction, not complete)

8+AA on SADN then another free on ZA and another AA on Lasers?
It uses 2 free dice and both AA dice on military and still could fail to give us lasers but I figure the ZA is more important and more likely to have some kind of rollover

So good news on the Economy front. We should have high twenties in both Energy and Capital Goods. That probably the best its been in some time. We could afford to siphon some Cap Goods off for the civilian market or predictive modeling management next turn.

Edit: Suden thought, does the excess progress from the Medium Housing Bay and the Fruiticulture Bay roll over into their respective stations?

"Oh boy, I sure hope the public is nice and calm about learning how global extinction is within their lifetimes!"

The public was not nice and calm about learning how global extinction is within their lifetimes.

That Labor pool is kind of concerning how it keeps on dipping and how much more it is going to dip from required options. Hopefully we cant get some more + Labor going. Nat 1 is not fun but overall turn seems solid for results. Also nice to cross another plan goal off the list with Chicago finishing.

We've gone down to 24 Labor before (Q4 2057 and Q2 2058), last I checked, I have us at ~16 Labor at the end of the Plan, but those are still from before this turns results. Increased medical will improve Labor gains, the improved Autodocs and Kamisuwa will help us to that end.

Edit:
Yeah? Lasers is talons. Wouldn't the AA dice count? If not then AA dice on ZA and free dice on lasers

If AA dice didn't count as actual dice for our Litvinov promise to limit military investment, then they shouldn't count as an actual die for the Talons promise.

I'm not particularly worried about Labor, we are going to be getting more automation projects, especially as the pool dips.

On another point, I have a suggestion for Q2's Tib department: (1 die each)
-[ ] Blue Zone 1 (Progress 0/90: 30 resources per die) (-3 Energy) (+2 Yellow Zone Abatement) (1 Political Support)
-[ ] Blue Zone 2 (Progress 49/90: 30 resources per die) (-3 Energy) (+2 Yellow Zone Abatement) (1 Political Support)
-[ ] Blue Zone 4 (Progress 0/90: 30 resources per die (-3 Energy) (+2 Yellow Zone Abatement) (1 Political Support)
-[ ] Blue Zone 5 (Progress 0/90: 30 resources per die (-3 Energy) (+2 Yellow Zone Abatement) (1 Political Support)

Or, in plan formatting:
-[] Tiberium Inhibitor Deployment (Blue Zone 1) 0/90 1 die 30R 65%
-[] Tiberium Inhibitor Deployment (Blue Zone 2) 49/90 1 die 30R 100%

Oh boy, isn't it a great thing that we decided to hire someone who's focus (to an unhealthy degree) is mechanisation and automation of roles previously taken up by humans

It's almost like someone saw this coming

Sorry, I got confused, but yeah, the AA die might not count and I won't plan on it. I'll think about the odds on how to handle the rest.

Well... Given that our Tib dice won't be in demand for Karachi in 2063Q4 unless we decide we really like living dangerously, we can afford to put off the border offensives slightly, but I think we should put at least a few dice into those. Also, all those inhibitors are going to get incredibly Energy-hungry, and I'm not sure we can actually support that kind of power demand right away.

Depending on what the Natural One is, we may need to do it as a gesture of good faith, but it's not my preferred choice.

Not sure if this is an honest suggestion or a meme. But unironically have been coping and seething at the lack of Inhibitors because I want to know what they are like, and we are never gonna improve them with no usage of them XD So I'm kinda down to slam them down.

Well, we have one underway. I'm down for a few more next turn. I don't think I want to go meme plan on it, but expect to see more investment in them from "Attempting" next turn.

Rails or Suborbitals next turn?
I'm thinking shuttles, but I might think rails if I decide to push for another Heavy Industry-centric plan that tries to surge yet another phase of alloy foundries. Because doing that will cost, and we'll definitely want to also invest in power plants, so... [shrug]
