Turn 4 Results (April 1991):
[]Meet the Team: Public Security Section Nine is a new initiative, and honestly, you don't know anyone. Is it a black ops team? A Cyber security group? Aramaki only said yes. DC: 40 Rolled:
D100 + 9 => 31
As much as you wished to meet the team, Aramaki did not grant you access to their files or allow you to meet them. He claimed that it was for their security. You didn't believe them. He didn't trust you enough to bring you into his circle of agents, so you were left out in the cold, and your office.
Failure.

[]Public Relations Campaign: You need to get the world to not consider you a terrorist. And also help your friends, so, try to get a lecture tour about the Digital world, considering you are now the leading expert on it. DC: 60 Rolled:
D100 + 9 => 96
The following is from an interview with Dr. Janyu Wong of HYPNOS, and ABC's Peter Jennings.
PJ: You have claimed responsibility for the creation of the so-called digital monsters and the digital world?
JW: Not entirely. The concept that we created was of a limited scale, just monsters following a base program that was not able to do anything like that. That only changed when we were given an idea from Dr. McCoy's son, who thought it would be great to have his monsters evolve, like animals. When the project was left over, the code was only partially installed. We had no idea that even with that partial code on it, it could have allowed them to grow and evolve.
PJ: And the digital world as it is called by many computer experts?
JW: Entirely created by the Digimon, at least from initial research into the Barrier that protects our world from it. The infrastructure for mass internet communication, like the telecommunications revolution before it, was just not there when we began that project in the summer of 1986. But that does not mean we haven't been assisting them with the mass proliferation of internet infrastructure and the personal computer revolution. As of right now, we simpley do not know.
PJ: And what about your response to the claims that you are considered the foremost and greatest Cyberterrorist who has ever lived?
JW: Absolutely unfounded and I am still disappointed that people continue to label me as such when it would have been impossible for me and my colleagues to continue with that work once we separated, we simply did not have the resources to continue with the Monster Project. The thing that I was bringing attention to, was the seeming lack of care by many in power about this frighteningly new phenomenon. I have a wife and three children, and I do not want to leave them a world where something is wrong, that I could not bring attention to, and see those groups who are, at least in the eyes of the public supposed to inform and protect them, seeing them shirk their responsibility is something that is incredibly irresponsible.
PJ: And you think that whistleblowing caused the world's security nations to declare you a terrorist?
JW: I think so, but one of the proudest things I have been able to do since than, was to try and document the digital world, and try to make contact. We have a strong suspicion, at this time, that there is far more to these monsters than them being wild animals that can destroy us.
PJ: And after the break, we will continue this interview. Stay tuned.
Reward: You have waged a successful campaign against many intelligence agencies around the world declaring you a terrorist.
Most nations outside of Asia have already stripped you of that title, and have given you an apology for such presumptive statements.
However, you have a strong feeling that being now the foremost expert on the digital world, other nations will want to speak to you. And you suspect, highly, that there are those in power, that know of this world and may want to kill you.

[]Protecting your family: You need to have a security team protect your family, until things get sorted. DC: 30 Rolled:
D100 + 1 => 2
Nothing seemed wrong.
And that frightened you more than you could imagine.
You go to bed, and wonder, just what might happen?
Critical failure: The Disaster roll will begin. The Event to be decided.
It will negatively affect personal rolls next turn.
------------------------------------
[]Emergency Powers: You need to have a backup generator that will not be affected by Electromagnetic… pulses. So a diesel generator as a backup might be needed. DC:10 Rolled:
D100 + 8 => 98
You smiled… You had more than just generators. The entire system was hardened to protect much of the building from electromagnetic attacks, security could activate and there was… well
The Danger Room. The entire structure was in its prototype, but it was currently the most powerful computer in Japan, something that could, in theory, affect the barrier, trying to get to unleash a strong electrical current in the digital world.
It wasn't meant to cause damage or destroy it, merely protect the city, and buy it time for evacuation.
You didn't think that would do anything, given what you knew about the digital world. But Aramaki said it was insurance.
Reward: You have a backup generator at HYPNOS HQ. During bioemergeing events, you can now have a safe room, and on occasion, assist local forces, help tamers, and protect local populations.

[]Wants and Needs: You need to figure out what the kids want or need for school. DC: 20 Rolled:
D100 + 8 => 20
Thankfully your kids were rather easy. Despite you telling them about the potential dangers of Card Reader EX's, they still wanted the newest model to modify themselves, to see if they could make it safer. Along with more trading cards
Well, your eldest did. Henry, bless him, was still wanting a Digimon plushie… a new one that just came out that caught his eye, and he would cry when he didn't get it.
A Digimon called Terriermon.
Reward: You have gotten some gifts for your family.
You begin to have some ideas.

[]Spend time with your Family: You need to balance your work and your personal life and make sure things don't get strange. Or strained. DC: 0 Rolled:

Henry
As you sat down with Henry on your lap, looking over some notes, you saw that Henry was babbling, playing, and trying to press the buttons on the Card Reader you just had bought for the others. And you honestly wanted to stop him from opening the card packet you got him, but you were engrossed in your work, you didn't… You wanted to know if the barrier could be studied.
Then Henry babbled. "Dada! Pretty Card."
You looked down and then saw Henry was holding the card reader, and he was holding a blue card in his hand. And he was in the middle of swiping it.
You froze, remembering the ideas in your mind about the ability to- No.
"Henry!" You shouted, reaching for him as the Card reader exploded with electricity and energy, and you were forced back, as you saw the card reader begin to change into a shape that was strange and foreign, yet it also looked like something familiar.
Roy's son called it a
digivice.
Then the glowing subsided, and you saw… a Digimon. A Digimon here in the real world
Henry was holding a small Digimon in his arms, holding it like he was terrified of something else.
You nearly lost yourself in fear as the tiny Digimon only looked at you, before cuddling up closer to Henry.
Things just got a lot more complicated.
Reward: Congratulations, you have successfully bioemerged a Digimon onto Earth, and it has become the partner for Henry, your youngest son.
Things have gotten a lot more complicated as the blue card that caused it was from a Card pack you bought from Bandai. Meaning there is a high likelihood that there are tens of thousands, if not millions of those blue cards all over the world.

Biomerge Roll will begin next turn.
