Aiding the E.G.G.M.A.N. (Sonic)

Hmm, how about three separate dogs so they can watch a different location, but once they're get enough damage the other two join the one damage and either help or join together into a actual Cerberus.
That makes me think of something along the lines of this.

Two large dog badniks/bosses guarding something like switches or reactors in the same area, either in neighboring rooms or within site. Really guarding something that if affected would open the entrance. Then once both are destroyed the main gate opens only to reveal a second one behind it followed by a third dog showing up. Either jumping down from somewhere or taking position behind the first gate. It then howls and somehow summons or quickly approaches the first two and fuses. Or if the first two are still able to move they quickly reach the third and combine. Followed by the true Cerberus boss initiating battle.

I just think I had a pretty great idea for a new badnick boss
What about a Kitsune theme badnick boss it would have like Pyro technical abilities and illusion tech
I'm the one who suggested this originally, there were going to be ice and fire fox badnicks with an upgraded ninetailed variant as a miniboss. I never thought about giving them illusions though

edit: I should clarify, the regular fox badnicks came first, more specifically I was trying to think up designs for the ice army we were supposed to make and thought that ice foxes would be a good idea, then I thought that I should give them a fire variant and the ninetailed minibosses came after that.

A kitsune themed badnik. Or perhaps more Kumiho (Korean fox spirit, much more malevolent). Oddly, I had the idea of using the Tails Doll, and having it transform like Roquefort from Hi-Fi Rush, into a multi-tailed Fox badnik with a color scheme either based on Tails Doll, or Mystery from Mystery Skulls Animated. Thoughts?

[X] Much as you loath the imposter... you'd better work on the E-2000s.

So working on the pawns and mecha sonic well at least i can try to once again try to push for doing a whim.

It's been a long time coming, but I've got the research sheet updated with all the new stuff that's come up since I last updated it, as well as the omake rewards that were handed out.

I'm gonna ask if anyone else would be willing to take up the research tracking duties? I'm finding that I'm lacking the time and will to keep it up-to-date. Feel free to just copy-paste what I've got into a new post, if someone wants to take up the mantle.

Hopefully we'll get a chance to do finish one after feigning loyalty to the imposter.
At least I've previously confirmed that an appropriate Pawn variant will count towards badnik requirements (i.e. Pawn with axe counts towards the Wood objective, Pawn cameraman counts towards Egg TV whim), so the Pawns won't necessarily lose us any time re: optionals. Hell, they could potentially let us work on multiple optionals simultaneously, if we decide to put out multiple whim-related variants at once.

Been considering asking about something like this (not necessarily me, I've already got the design sheet, though I've got plenty of time), considering how slow you are to update at times. Mostly thinking of taking over the omake list, though; haven't seen Bomber here in like a year now.

@undead frog Presumably the "2 points per update, max 6" deal you've got with Pallet would transfer to whoever takes over for him?

New Omake Sheet
New Omake Sheet
In light of Bomberfett343's prolonged absence from this quest, I will be taking over omake monitoring duties in this post. I'll try to keep them sorted so it's obvious at a glance which omakes have already been graded. Also putting them all in spoilers so this post doesn't unduly clutter the page.

Note: This section is for omakes that were posted before one of frog's grading sessions, but that I did not see in that, or any other, grading session. Thus far there is only one entry in this category...

edit: okay, added that pawn overview thing since i found the time to search for it

Pawns and Mecha Sonic
[x] Pawns and Mecha Sonic

The first you thing you do is get to work on… the imposters command.

The filthy disgusting imposter.

You hate them.

You hate them so much.

But one day you will have no more need for these charade.

And then you will make that imposter regret its life choices.

But for now.

Work on Egg Pawns.

You have 20 Points.
[ ] Egg Pawn (Pilot): A Blue version of the Egg Pawn with a focus on piloting vehicles. 4 Points.
[ ] Bomb Flapper: A magenta Flapper variant that drops bombs on the enemy. 2 Points. (Requires Flapper)
[ ] Cannon Flapper: A Flapper Variant with a cannon attached. 2 Points. (Requires Flapper)
[ ] Egg BIshop/Magician: A duel mode variant of the Egg Pawn that can swap between a healing focused 'Bishop' mode and a damage focused 'Magician' mode. 4 Points.
[ ] Solid Pawn: An exceptionally durable… if comparatively less mobile variant of the Egg Pawn 8 Points.
[ ] Solid Flapper: A tougher but much less maneuverable version of the Flapper. 12 Points.
[ ] Laser Flapper: A Flapper variant that fires a laser below it. 2 Points.
[ ] Canon Flapper: A Flapper with a canon mounted under it. 4 Points.
[ ] Needle Flapper: A flapper with spikes that regularly emerge from it. 2 Points.
[ ] Needle Pawn: An Egg Pawn variant that can defend itself with spikes in a pinch while at the same time maintaining the tool usage of most Egg Pawn variants. 8 Points.
[ ] Bomb Flapper: A version of the Flapper that drops bombs on prospective targets. 6 Points.
[ ] Spec Ops Pawn: A much more durable, creatively thinking, and reactive Egg Pawn variant specialized for high danger assignments. 10 Points.
[ ] Egg Saw: A chainsaw usable by Egg Pawns. 2 Points.
[ ] Marine Pawn: An Egg Pawn variant equipped with selective magnet boots both giving them better security on a ship and letting them walk on strange places such as the sides or even underside of said ships. 4 Points.

Naturally you don't only focus on the Egg Pawns… you plot to destroy the imposter is only just beginning after all.

You have 60 Points.
[ ] Better Armor: An improvement to Mecha Sonic's armor, he'll never be as strong as the likes of Alpha but he'll at least be able to take hits better than he used to. 20 Points.
[ ] Super Jet Booster: An improved version of the Jet Boosters employed by the E-100 series that should flat out grant Mecha Sonic inherent flight capabilities… though not nearly as much as a dedicated flier. 20 Points.
[ ] Chaos Efficiency: Needless to say Mecha Sonic needing access to the Master Emerald in order to activate its short term super form is a very limiting factor, some upgrades to the old tech in the chassis should let it do similar with just a held Chaos Emerald. 20 Points.
[ ] Burning Light: A small adjustment to the light drive should make the energy spheres that Mecha Sonic pulls into it's body actually harmful to touch, a good way to help it charge uninterrupted. 20 Points.
[ ] Hard Light platform: Adjusting the Light Drive a small amount should let Metal Sonic project hard light from its feat to stop itself from falling in a pinch… and lead the way for other applications. 20 Points.
[ ] Second Dash: An extra storage unit should let Mecha Sonic store enough energy for two back to back Lightspeed Dash attacks in a raw instead of one. 20 Points.

Some aren't listed, are they all 20 points?

[ ] Chaos Efficiency

These two don't have prices

We should improve the metal sonic to be able to snack this imposter along with alpha and silver metal sonics…a triple threat so to say.

Work on armour and chaos efficiency, more armour means less chance of it being destroyed

I don't think we're going to fight Metal yet, so I'm focusing on improving Mecha's new light element and making it so that he isn't reliant on the master Emerald, next time I intend to make a plan to make him tankier

About time we worked on the pawns, Pilot pawns opens up the idea of exo frames for them to pilot that and we could make some ride wyverns.

I'd like some Pilot Pawns so we can get started on some vehicles for them. As for "must-haves" though? Chaos Efficiency. Super Mecha Sonic is literally the entire reason I picked him as our anti-Traitor robot, after all. Given the choice between a plan with Pilots and a plan with Chaos Efficiency, I'm going Chaos Efficiency.

If I can have both, though...

...something like this would be ideal, in my eyes.

Well i'd be willing to swap out to chaos efficiency cause i really want pilot pawns due to how much they offer.

Here's the new and improved plan swapped out the chainsaw for a new flapper variant cause they also need some love.
