-[X] Better Armor: An improvement to Mecha Sonic's armor, he'll never be as strong as the likes of Alpha but he'll at least be able to take hits better than he used to. 20 Points.
-[X] Super Jet Booster: An improved version of the Jet Boosters employed by the E-100 series that should flat out grant Mecha Sonic inherent flight capabilities… though not nearly as much as a dedicated flier. 20 Points.
-[X] Scan Scrambler: A nice little device that keeps enemies from getting a good read on Mecha Sonic…. It could even disable another certain annoying counterpart's copying ability. 20 Points.
-[X] Hard Light Barrier: Enables Mecha Sonic to create a barrier of hard light to protect himself from damage. 20 Points.
-[X] Hyper Mode (Capstone): With some enhancements… it should be possible to grand Mecha Sonic access to a hyper mode, though it would require all seven Chaos Emeralds and access to either the Master Emerald or Hyper Emeralds. 40 Points.
You begin work on Mecha Sonic's upgrades.
Better armor and jet boosters are the first things added to increase both Mecha Sonic's survivability and it's mobilities. Two things that are key when looking at the enemies it's most likely to face.
Next you add the Scan Scrambler. You must confess this is actually more to spite Metal Sonic than anything else, sure it will be helpful in combat and keep enemies from tracking Mecha Sonic, but the mere possibility that adding it might annoy Metal Sonic was most important.
Speaking of Metal Sonic you have not located him since the arrival of the Imposter.

Truly Metal Sonic is the closest thing to a real mistake the doctor will ever create.
Really what could that stupid thing be doing that's so important that it would warrant that it ignore an imposter imitating the creator himself?
And he clearly knew about the imposter given it vanished when the imposter appeared.
Perhaps you were fortunate and Metal Sonic blew itself up in a dark pit somewhere.
….. But being distracted Metal Sonic's inferiority aside you do manage to implement the final upgrades into Mecha Sonic.
The Hard Light Barrier for defense….. And the Hyper Mode capacity.
With this… Mecha Sonic could very well achieve a form unmatched by any machine currently known, and even without meeting the requirements for its ultimate form acquiring the seven Chaos Emeralds would still allow for a proper Super Form.

Gamma seems to have disappeared while on a mission in Station Square.
This is concerning on many levels so you send a squad of Egg Pawns to investigate.
…. Only they end up being distracted by the Old Man Statue again.
That thing has legitimately caused more trouble for the Eggman Empire than Station Square's actual police department.
Beyond that… the Imposter is back to giving you demands.
How annoying.
You are to focus on badnicks with a Casino theme… it appears they want to keep people in the dark that they aren't the true doctor and have opted to put a token effort into mimicking his normal habits.
What do you do next?
[] One of Metal Series, Silver Sonic, Mecha Sonic, Mecha Knuckles, Metal Knuckles, or even the
prototype any one of these machines could be a potent force if brought up to spec.
[] Past Badniks the good doctor has created a wide variety of machines in the past, perhaps bringing one of these older machines up to date could be of aid to your creator.
[ ] Much as you loath the imposter... you'd better work on the E-2000s.
[] Current Badniks your creator really is looking to remodle soon and it shows, the line up of active Badniks is fairly small, but you could improve them to get more quality even with the smaller numbers. (Upgrade one of the Sonic Adventure 1 Era Badniks).
[] A new Badnik you do not know how long anything you produce will last, but your current goal is merely to make your creators forces stronger for the next fight, a new machine type should be a decent hold over until the doctor initiates his overhaul.
[] The idea of other airships intrigues you... you should design some more.
[] A powerhouse, instead of updating an old machine or producing a new lesser robot template a more powerful machine may be needed to aid your creators plans.
[] All armies need their infrastructure, you should put some work into the topic.

Additionally you can plot against the usurper on the side. How do you start?
[ ] Make a powerful individual killer robot.
[ ] Begin building your forces, you will destroy this usurper. (Choose from humanoid model research or vehicle research).
[ ] Establish a blacksite far away from their eyes.
[ ] Investigate the imposters nature.
[ ] Investigate the location of the true Eggman.
