I am curious on the Black Knight one, cause I do find the enemies interesting and the giants as well.
Cool, I'll probably try and get the ARK elaboration done with tomorrow given thats the other one people have shown interest in.
Protagonist: You guys are basically Dr Eggman... but as a wizard! Also a semi-good person due to a wide variety of butterflies, and you've just returned to find that the homunculus you made to hold the throne until King Arthur came back was corrupted, that your firestborn daughter might have gone a lil crazy, that King Arthur did indeed show up, and that now the kingdom has been thrown into another world.
Naturally you will have several ways to increase your powah... but this is what the kingdom has to work with at the start.
Knights of the Round: Pretty self explanatory, the starting knights are the three we see in cannon while the two multiplayer ones are easy pick ups, you'll need to look for more. Naturally managing your relations with each is pretty important as is making sure they have as much stronk to throw around as possible... they'll make up the vast bulk of your early fighting power after all.
Mobian Knights: Mobians with upper tier medevils style equipment, stronger than the average mobian but vastly inferior to the knights of the round.
Mobians at Arms: Mobians equipped with basic medevil style equipment most of them at least slightly superhuman but they are still at a massive disadvantage verses just about everyone. Heck even the time displaced Knuckles Tribe (Which was one of the options I didn't go into much detail one before... I'll have to at some point) can reliably beat up on these poor souls.... still they have better than the last option.
Human Peasents: Humans with crossobws.... thankfully they are kept out of melee combat were they are even more outclassed but... yeah things are pretty bad.
You do however have two resources that could theoretically be of use but aren't yet.
Trolls: Big, green, and able to regenerate these guys... honestly might just flat out be too friendly for sustained combat but they are really good for logistics if you can get em motivated.
Other Mages: You have a few students that haven't been disappointments.... still you'd never thought you'd take up teaching.
And finally here are some other starting avenues of magic research.
New Schools of Magic: Humans in this realm have a natural aptitude for magic... but few as good as Egg Merlin and need to find one that jells with them, unlocking more schools actually lets you induct more people into the mystic arts due to this as people discover magical talents they had but were not able to use until now.
Blacksmith work: By teaming up with Tails the Blacksmith you can build a wide variety of magical weapons, some golems (Though not all need tails due to some being made out of say... rocks) and perhaps even animated armors that are totally not this worlds versions of the various metal copies!
The Color Knights: Starting by bringing back a modified version of the King Arthur Humunculis you can create a wide variety of 'knights' with different powers based on different colors... naturally non knight Homunculi are gated behind this and the revival of the Fake King Arthur is key to regain access to the Knights of the Underworld.
