Is there anything strickly preventing an egg carrier deploying to tails workshop location and just Nuking it out of existence with its superlazer? (I mean... I DO remember the Carriers have those attached... failing that, a macross missile massacre would probably overwhelm his defences... also, whats stopping us just ICBMing it?*)

*Good Luck having a defence system block a hypersonic Missile... as even if it warhead gets killed by the defences, its still going fast enough to deal bad damage just as a kinetic impactor)
Depends. Do we want to loot it first like we did last time? If so, we're restricted to the old-fashioned smash-and-grab strategy instead of orbital bombardment.

 Just noticed a HUGE GAPING HOLE in my suggestions list: We don't have any air force designs.

To start us off, I'll go with a simple design: A helicopter-ish badnik that also has sawblades linked to the same rotational system. Like, the main body is two hemispheres, with the sawblade sticking out between them? Maybe add some sort of propulsion to the back so it can actually chase targets, too.

I have a fairly distinct design in mind, but I am literally incapable of describing it beyond "the only resemblance to Orbinauts is that it's roughly spherical." It does have distinct facial features though (at least on the top half), if that helps you picture it any.

I mentioned before that I really like Metal Dragon, it might be useless in the actual card game but would make for a very useful badnick design. it definitely has the look of a flying boss though, and I don't think more bosses are what we need right now.

we could also probably make an eagle badnick that's basically a fighter jet

edit: a stealth based owl badnick would also be a good idea

Could definitely be a boss Badnik to defend our carrier or even the future egg fleet. Any ideas for possible weapons, maybe a laser in its mouth?

So make one a boss, but quickly make MP models of it in order to be our Ace fliers.

Aren't those just Balkiries?

like you said, the mouth laser would be good, I was thinking missile pods along the body and depending on how big it is maybe even machine gun/laser turrets.

...I thought balkiries were different than that, but yes my idea was like a seriously upscaled balkiry. they're kinda underpowered for dog fights against actual jets. although I've also just noticed that Egg-tornadoes are a thing we can give to our egg pawns so I think it might be a better idea to do that for our dog fighters.

I have some ideas for some capture units and ironically enough one could also be used as a base and I can't believe it never crossed my mind but we could make a whale badnik to scoop up most deep sea creatures.

So which optional objective should we complete next, cause I am curious on what other whims we'll get from completing the wood collecting.

It's less for the aquarium more for underwater badniks even if we don't get a navy they are still useful.
Do fish even work as power sources? Because I was under the impression that the standard woodland critters were the only living things other than those Little Planet flowers that would actually work.

Besides, they'd be incredibly niche even if they did work, because we'd need to either use them exclusively for aquatic units or make their containment units aquariums. Squirrels and birds seem more versatile to me.

There's more than just fish under the sea but I see your point, just trying to think up of new badniks and one's focused on capturing is a lot harder.

Edit: wait now that I think about it do the animals used in the chao garden count?
