[X] Why reach in to confirm what you already know? You know where the cards came from, you know what Der Freischütz called you, and you know where you came from. Don't reach in to confirm a fact. Reach in to find out what you might be doing in ignorance.

Nothing good comes from running from the truth. It's time to face ourselves.

EDIT: Changed vote to write-in.

We'll probably need to talk to Madoka later to ease her worries. But right now...
Surgery on your own brain sounds like an incredibly risky idea. On the other hand, when did it stop us?

[X] Reach inwards

Kyubey directly told X that she's probably the one that generated those gifts and X didn't even bat an eye.
X has seen enough terrible things happen to people they care about as a consequence of their actions by now to have permanently moved out of the "Oh God, what have I done?" phase and into the "Alright, how do I un-break things?" phase.

Oh, I thought it was the influence of the Unknown EGO, I guess it was because of what Kyubey said that X has even thought of "Reaching inwards"

But what Abnormality could it be?
You.
"I had initially believed you were responsible, given the similarities in composition to your own body. It was a much closer match than any of the other Abnormalities we have observed so far. Is that incorrect?"
There's something unnameably frustrating about Kuybey having figured it out and even telling X, and X still doesn't believe it.

Now the vote. My gut reaction is, of course, to Reach Inwards. I think that's the only proof X will accept. Even X thinks it's right.
A nameless, unknown instinct whispers to you, assures you that everything will go as expected, but you ignore it. You have only ever had your own judgement to rely on, and that will not change today.
X doesn't trust it, but this is X, the Abnormality, talking to X the person.

On the other hand, this is indeed a terrible, terrible idea. That her instincts as an Abnormality think this is a good idea is red flag number one. Plus a lot of Lobotomy's abilities are unknown. More then that, we don't know what X will do once she sees exactly what she is. She could be fine, but she has continually reacted badly to this possibility, and she's not reacting well now, she's forcing herself to do this.

I also don't like that she's doing this alone. Personally I'd feel a lot better if she had some kind of comforting presence around. She's probably went out of her way to be alone so she wouldn't hurt anyone, but distance usually hasn't stopped an Abnormality before. I'd be worried about her doing something incredibly stupid.

And finally, we have to understand what this is. Because this isn't X looking for a definitive answer to whether they're an Abnormality or not. Kuybey knows X is an Abnormality. We know X is an Abnormality. א knows that X is an Abnormality. This isn't final proof, this is looking at the plainly obvious and demanding another round of testing and lab results. This is the last gasp of denial, not the first step to acceptance.

So, my proposal.

I kind of do want to, in fact, go in uncertain and confirming it.

Why? I am hoping this may get us our Anguish bit for Freischütz if its presented more like that.
