The Adult: *Tries scrying*

[CENSORED]: *Calls The Adult a [DEROGATORY TERM] with a 6th-Dimensional Essay in Triplicate as proof being beamed through the Scry*

So, it's more like Fear of The Unknown is just something falls under it's domain because it itself is The Unknowable?

But hey, that's just a theory!
A GAME THEORY!
Thanks for reading.

You know, the more time passes the more I hate this youtube channel.

It's not a theory, it's an hypothesis! A theory is proven, and actually quite a lot of what they talk about aren't even hypotheses, they're just wild speculations that don't make sense.

Just their fucking catchphrase drive me wild because of all the damage it does to scientific theories because it lead to people telling *but evolution is just a theory!*, YES IT'S A THEORY, because it's proven!

The next update will likely be delayed as I am playing Limbus Company busy with something important, but AVLS should also be updating around whatever time I get to.

2.2.1 - When The Morning Arrives
Chapter 97 - When The Morning Arrives

There's really only one answer here. You can juggle multiple tasks at once easily enough.

"Of course I'll help. That said," you continue, "I've really got my hands full at the moment. It'll be a while until I have a stable enough foundation to start working."

Angela smiles. "That's perfectly acceptable. You should return to your current residence; it's almost morning."

"It is?" If the Library has any doors or windows to the outside, you haven't seen them. Between that and the temporal shenanigans working in the background, it's hard to keep track of time. "Were we really talking for that long?"

"Yes. I thought you had a better sense of time than that, X." Angela teases. You've heard that sort of criticism from her before, back in the Facility, but there's no bite to it now.

"Send me back, then. The kids have school, and they'll freak out if they wake up and I'm gone."

—————————

You do, in fact, arrive home before any of the children are awake. Yuma is in her room, showing no signs of alertness whatsoever. Mami, sleeping under a blanket on the couch in the living room, is much similar. Kyoko is a lighter sleeper, and shifts a bit when you peek in to check on her. The room is notably not reduced to ashes. You take that as a good sign and move on to prepare breakfast.

Hoping to branch out a bit from your usuals, you start on some omelettes. Your inherited memories are of no help here, and as such what you end up with is far below the usual standard for the household. It's not bad, but not incredible either. You're still staring in muted dissatisfaction when the kids enter the dining room.

Hopefully your story from last night will distract from the quality.

—————————

"Do you want to go to school, Kyoko?" you ask as you finish off a disappointing omelette. Nobody else seems to have any problems with it, so maybe it's just you. "I can probably extort Kyubey into arranging something."

"You don't have to do that. Besides, it wouldn't do me any good. I've already missed a few years, I'd be way behind." Kyoko says.

Mami frowns. "If that is an issue, I could help you catch up. I have been doing very well on my own schoolwork." Normally you would hear the pride in her voice at a statement like that, but all that you can find is concern.

"Nah," Kyoko stuffs her second omelette into her mouth to give herself a reason to look away from her sister. "You shouldn't waste your time on that. Besides, what'd I even do with a proper education? Not like I've got a lotta career prospects."

"If utility is the issue, I could always teach you some of the stuff I know." you propose. "Architecture, medicine, robotics, gene editing. Y'know, stuff like that. Can't guarantee I'd be a good teacher, though."

"I guess I'll think about it." Kyoko answers. Two omelettes is apparently enough to satisfy her. You're curious if the girl's increased appetite is a consequence of Distortion, years of malnutrition, or just something unique to her.

"Can Yuma learn too?" the greenette asks. You nod as you swallow the last of your breakfast.

"Of course, though not right now. You have school in a few minutes."

—————————

Two rounds of teleportation, and you and Kyoko are alone in the apartment. You have the whole day ahead of you.

Der Freischütz's Sapling - Observation Level 2/3
Porccubus' Sapling - Observation Level 2/3
CENSORED's Sapling - Observation Level EXPUNGED/REDACTED

Extremely short chapter, as it's just a bridge to the next actual event. I might actually add to it later. Welcome to Day 2 of Act 2.

After about ten hours of Limbus Company, I can safely conclude that the Sinners are just your typical DND party.

There's bound to be something to do.

Teaching Kyoko would take up quite a lot of time. But I think we might be able to fit in scouting out Kamihama earlier than later.

Yeah, and we can't just leave the adult doing whatever it is she's doing.
every moment that passes is another moment when he does more horrible things and gets more followers.

The main thing is, we are probably coming up to the Argalia encounter sooner rather than later.

If the blue music man already got 1 witch follower, hes definitely not that far away from us.

Though I think we should go about scouting Kamihama's perimeter, given that there's a chance for us to encounter both Argalia and Judgement Bird(?).

So here's the plan!
[X] Plan: Studying Geography
-[X] Proceed with Kyoko's education.
--[X] Scout Kamihama

We should do with teaching Kyoko first, since (and it's a bit manipulative here) it would help us reinforce our trust (control) in her more, with means that if anything goes wrong with Argalia, we wouldn't need to worry about her.

Plus, we did promise her it, and we aren't in too much of a rush.

Then we do the scouting. Hopefully, we meet either of our targets.

Architecture, medicine, robotics, gene editing.

Of course, that's a totally normal line up of knowledge to be a expert in, nothing strange here….

Ayin and his genius sometimes.

For the vote: well, my main priority is still having a talk with Madoka, but I donlt'think she would appreciate us doing so when she has school, strangely enough, so… scouting the Adult it is, probably.

[X] Plan: Studying Geography

Now, after that, I want to see the girls at lunch, check how's Hitomi and tell Madoka we want to talk later.

To steal a comment from Reddit.

The casino job absolutely plays out like a TTRPG full of murder hobos that went off the rails.

Ryoshu: "I throw my dagger at the chandelier."

DM: *stares in disbelief*

Ryoshu: *Rolls 20*

DM:"Approaching the checkpoint, Vergillius again, reminds you all of the fairly standard procedure, answers the question and we all get in, border security guard looks that you all, their face obscured by the mask yet a clear feeling of disgust is emanating from them, finally you all reach The checkpoint under their watch. "
Gregor : "I look around."
DM:" There is a big glass wall next to you all, on the other side is a contrasting scenery, a endless line of people that you cannot tell where's the start and where's the end? some of them resting by sitting on the ground, some of them sleeping in the sleeping bag, most of them even brought food and water. Speed of the line tell you that from the end to the checkpoint, they're going to be there at least for a week, a bloody man is dragged out the security guards, barely conscience yet his eyes opened wide, a child is crying. There is nothing you all can do, Vergillius reminded you all."
Don:"I attack the glass wall!"
DM:....
Don: "a 2! What is the meaning of this number!"

That's hilariously accurate, I'll say Faust is more like that guy with a foresight skill that retroactively 'predicts' everything, more so than a rules lawyer though.
After her comment in chapter 2...

I'm not sure. She seems to have reached the acceptance stage by then, and straight up just admit she "plan" by taking into account the fact that "there is no plan".

She's the one with a powerful foresight skill that doesn't do shit because the rest of the party is gonna disregard everything and ruin it in the end :V

Faust: "Hm, I foresee that up ahead there are 2 K-Corp guards and 3 N. Corp Inquisitors, we should utilize stealth and-"
Don: "I roll for attack."
Dante: "Don, you aren't in attack range yet."
Don: "Then I shall enter the attack range!"
Sinclair: "Isn't this a horrible idea?"
Ishmael: "I can't believe you are more stupid than Heathcliff."
Heathcliff: "Do you want to get your head bashed in you-"

-The party started making a ruckus, attracting the attention of the enemies up ahead anyway-

Faust: "...Faust should've learned by now."
