At least it was just the mad scientist the Wizard had to deal with.
Hey! X is not a mad scientist! That was her father!
If it were the megalomaniacal godling, the paranoid tyrant, or worse that mute freak, the Wizard would've had less to work with. As it was, there were plenty of strings she could pull to keep her competitor at bay.
Ok, first is White Night, second... not sure, third, I want to say Jester?
And let's make the Adult our next priority, shut her up real good.
The future would be bright.
Also, very very green.
Mom wouldn't reject her no matter what.
So happy to see her calls us mom in her thoughts.
This was not that sort of situation. Angela was a pale, cyan-haired woman who seemed perpetually unimpressed and exasperated by everything around her.
Don't worry, that's her resting face, try spending one million subjective years taking care of idiots and see what it does to yours, you'll probably end up the same.
Homura Akemi appears to survive off of a reserve of energy that can be easily replenished by most of the Library's denizens.
Thanks white night! That at least gives us ample time to find an actual replacement for it.
"EGO? I'm not sure I follow."
If you want to see one, just look around, here's the biggest example of the setting.
The creature beneath the man cried out again as his heel crushed its outstretched hand. Normally, he wasn't one for such ruthless efficiency. That had always been his sister's forte.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Argalia is out, I repeat, Argalia is out!
Play the third trumpet, we have multiples big problems!
Ah, the new Light. Even locked in the Emerald City, separated from the real world, he had heard her overture. A brilliant concert, a march to war against the mundane, restricted world. For one so attuned as the man, no barrier could prevent him from listening to a performance so beautiful. While he had failed before, thought his last chance wasted, it seemed fate had other plans for the Ensemble's Conductor. Here he was now, brought to a world where his dream may soon come true.
Ok so, if I parce it correctly, our *dear friend* was stuck in the emerald city by the Adult, managed to
flee like a coward do a tactical retreat after escaping, and is now in a collision course with us to spread the word of Carmen.
Great, just great.
Also interesting to know that Argalia is in the Emerald City.
Was, was in the emerald city, he said he was stuck past tense, he isn't anymore.
and "that mute thing"(Prob Ozma, maybe OneBro)
Possible too.
He only distorted one time before he comes to this world. Others distorted two times already, and I guess that shifting world cause you to distort yet again. So he's only two time distortion which make him even more mad than the usual him. Others have distorted three times which makes them a Complete beast to their own desire.
I am not sure, there are strong implications that he was already a distortion even when he still looked human, due to him listening to Carmen and all that, it's just that as a distortion centered around communications, he probably didn't think changing his body was necessary.
WhiteNight, Apocalypse Bird, Silent Girl.
Ooooh, that's better than my guesses, who didn't even had an idea for the second and third ones, especially since I was doubting it was the pinnacles she was referencing, but that actually works.
Basically nothing. We do know that she is super strong in the sense that she instantly kills anything that feels guilty...I guess in terms of fitting, she would be something that fits the Black Pinnacle.
I can even see how she's the black one, guilt can be said to gnaw at you, and black damage is corrosion, Guilt taken as a self-destructive tendency that makes you hurt yourself works for black damage in a way.
It can also be that she does a lot of Black damage when you feel guilty, and that's how she insta-kills you.
