[X] Rest for a day
So if we rest for one day we might need to take down two the next? There was... eleven or twelve locations that needed Cerys so we still got a long way to go. Add to that any complications arising.
I also do not think they counted whatever that thing in Scotland is to those locations
I had an idea of seeing if we can channel our Beginning affinity through our sword's Infinity affinity to try and make some instantaneous simultaneous slashes, i.e. Fate-style Tsubame Gaeshi. I don't think we've tried that yet?
Although we would probably need higher swording skill for that.
Right.Conceptual magic is still beyond us. Rukia has said that we wont be able to safely use conceptual stuff without a very high amount of magical control.
The reason I considered keep fighting was so that we could try to build up our badass rating and build the belief in us.
[X] Fight More
Work hard rest hard. Also making a good impression on our boss.
Body count of you fighting things?Ah damn. Wanted to vote to fight.
The problem I see here is that, honestly, the Clocktowers mages are comparatively puny to Cerys. A monster that Cerys could effortlessly kill in one shot is one that a whole team of mages could struggle significantly or even die to.
So then it comes to this point. If Cerys actively involved herself in regular monster extermination; by how much could she reduce the body count?
I understand Cerys deserved a break and all, but from what I see Cerys is currently pretty far from mental and/or physical exhaustion. It irks me to know that our involvement could save a significant amount of people and having us not do so.
But Eh, the votes already locked, so it doesn't matter anymore.
But just out of curiosity, @Rukia how does the body count of this operation look like?
Pretty low all told. Especially since I expect more than a few ran into some nasty surprise like that... giant brush thing I can't remember the name of that we did. Hell we were there for that one and couldn't stop the guy from getting killed, so that argument isn't really a valid one either as far as "And this is why we shouldn't take a break."Total body count so far is roughly 60 or so, out of 4000-4500 Enforcers.

Maybe we stopped the others dying, maybe we didn't. Point is us just being there isn't going to keep them from getting killed.
Body count of you fighting things?
Not made much of a difference.
So long as you are there Karen isn't going to send normal Enforcers to go fight these things.
Because they would be horribly, horribly destroyed.
Ofc, if you weren't there, then the body count (for fighting these) would be well into the hundreds, possibly even thousands.
You can take a break, for at least a day. Karen won't send people to their deaths for no reason.

Yes.
Your shots are fast, but it so much faster. You can barely even see it move, just a black blur as it dives towards you. You feel it dance around your spears, wings curling and waving just around them. You feel it about to pass your sphere of Plasma, so you desperately reach out and detonate it.
During our day of rest, if we're able to, we should try to obtain High-Speed Combat by training. I would be surprised if the Thunderbird was the only fast creature we're going to fight against in the coming days. You quickly dive for the ground, now the highest thing in the sky, but you see a flicking blue glow from the cloud below and suddenly the air is alive with energy. You have the barest moment to react, drawing your sword across your body before the world vanishes in a white flash.

Cerys can track objects moving up to 90mph.
Also, Boosted Flight is so OP. But I think we have like... half-boosted flight or something since our swords can break and we still need to put physical force on them to get moving?
Not 0 to max speed, but it lets you do some fast manoeuvring.
(Gives you a defensive boost while dodging and a much higher chance of completely avoiding an attack.)
60 people's still a lot on an individual basis, but it's not that much for what amounts to basically a military operation.
Yes, basically. You kick off of your swords or land on them. But I think we have like... half-boosted flight or something since our swords can break and we still need to put physical force on them to get moving?
Uses spell MM, if it doesn't exist use either 1/4 or 1/2 of the persons base MM.Is it the case of "uses spells MM unless that is N/A then uses the person's base magic modifier"?
